um, i keep trying to get into the town, but it just opens up a window that says gaia towns. and then it stays there and doesnt load anything.

Many people are having trouble getting Towns to load right now. You can try clearing your browser's cache and launching Towns again:

If you have Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools -> Internet Options... -> Delete Files... button

If you have Netscape Navigator:
Go to Edit -> Preferences... -> Advanced -> Cache -> Clear Cache button

If you have Firefox:
Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Clear cache

If you have AOL:
Go to Settings -> Internet [Web] Options -> Use Internet Explorer Settings
Then go into IE and follow the instructions above to clear its cache.

If you have Safari:
Go to Safari -> Empty Cache...
