Email address is already registered

I'm trying to change an email use don my Mule to be used on this one my main account. I've already changed the mule's email so that "should" have free the email up but when I try to add it to this account I still get Email address is already registered but I'm able to re-add it to the other account. So it is not possible to do the old email switch?

Give the servers 24-48 hours to update and remove your "old" email from the database.
Then you should be able to make that the email of your other account.

Yep that worked I was thinking it might work not sure why i didn't give it a day >.<
