im using my mule account instead of my normal account just for this stupid login issue!!!!its crazy i login with the right username the right password and it says "sorry the username or password you entered is incorrect" and it doesnt even give me the repeated attempts will ban your account.and this was on the first attempt!!!
and i decided id try to change my password and so i gave it my email and it said that that email didnt exist in gaias domain but itll let me log into this account and my brothers account no problom...and idt ive done anything to get banned.please help!!!!!!

I have the Remember Me problem. I always click it but after i click (x) on my Gaia tab and come back a little while later i will be logged out. @.@

um i don't know why but for some reason my trading pass is disabled and i don't know why i sent gaia a ticket thing but they never respond so i don't know what to do can you plzzz help me smile

Unsure if this is a bug but i'm putting it here just in case
What happens:
I get the incorrect password/username page once or twice during a day.

What I have tried:
-clearing cache: usually helps when i delete the password/username combo i've saved so that it'll resave.
-deleting saved passwords: even when i do this, sometimes i'll still get this issue
-typing in username and password manually: sometimes i still have the issue even with this
-typing in ID# and password: sometimes i still get the login issue

Extra notes:
-I have not tried another browser as i'm not very fond of them.
-This happens at random, i can't just reproduce it when i feel like it, but once or twice a day is not acceptable, expecially when i don't wish to get a 15 min ban (or whatever it is these days) because of incorrect logins.
-this started when the new login box appeared
-i do not use the Remember Me box (didn't before, and i was ok)

Everytime I try to log in, the password field turns yellow and a password appears. Since I haven't saved my passwords on my browser and haven't even entered my username, I think it's a bug. I can easily delete the false password and enter my own one but it's pretty annoying.

My friend even told me about a weird number (2100) appearing in the username field and a password in the password field. For her both fields turn yellow when this happens. As far as I can tell, her operating system is Windows Vista and her Browser is Google Chrome (I don't know her exact versions, processor or memory). She can fix it too by deleting the false entries and entering her own username/password.

yeah, i know im typing my password correctly, but it wont work, it works on the second time and it will work once in a while but its very annoying and for some reason i keep checking 'remember me' but it doesnt remember me neutral

-As of this post, a few minutes ago, after watching some online videos. I came back to see that I was logged out of Gaia. I was not away from the site long enough for it to log me out based on inactivity.

-I recently scanned my computer and changed my password.

-Before that happened. When trying to log onto the site, I was told that my pass and name were incorrect. When I click back to the homepage, and attempt to log in again, I was able to do so.

When I try to log on to the main page, no matter how many times I use the correct password, it doesn't log me in. This is happening on both my main and this mule.
It takes several tries on the incorrect password page to log in (sometimes four or more)
'Remember Me' has stopped working as well; a blank username comes up with a password in the correct field.. o_0

This all started three or four days ago, I think. I'm not sure, though, so don't take my word on that. ._.;

Possibly on a related note: The text for 'username' and 'password' stay in the box, even when typing in my username and password. I would log out to take a screen shot, but I'm not sure how soon I could log back in.

I'm using the newest version of Firefox on Windows Vista, and the Skype add-on has been disabled for months. (I disabled it as soon as I got it, in fact.)

I'm going to use a photobucket placeholder for the username/password text. That way, if I can screenshot it, it'll show up despite log-in troubles! biggrin

Edit: Apparently, irony strikes again. As soon as I posted this and logged out, I stopped having trouble. sweatdrop

I visit off of Mozilla Firefox 3.0.8 and I have my passwords saved.
I am running Windows Vista.

I have always had an easy time of logging in with my saved info. After the changes were made to the login (namely the update that brought us "username" and "password" in the appropriate boxes), I had to click in the Username box, click the page OUTSIDE of that box, and then click the box again. At that point, the saved info of my accounts would drop down. With the password auto-filled, "password" ghosted over the encryption dots. Still, this was workable, so I had no problem (aside from a slight annoyance) clicking in, out, and in again to select my saved info.
As of.. possibly.. yesterday or the day before, doing this does NOT give me the proper info. Instead, even after a clearing of all cookies, cache, etc and closing of all windows, it drops down a list of ALL sign-in names I have for ALL sites, including my gmail.
Since I keep my Gaia logins written in all lower-case letters, it was simple to pick out MercifulDeath. Clicking it into place, I noticed my password didn't show up below. I did double-check my Saved Passwords to be sure I had the proper passwords still in place. They ARE there, and correct, but I cannot get the drop-down list to show properly.

I wouldn't think this was a glitch/bug, except it was working PERFECTLY as little as three days ago. In fact, my first thought was a browser issue as it was working just fine on one login, and suddenly wasn't the next time (in the same session) I attempted to log in.

I believe that's a browser-side feature.
If we changed the "name" of the input field or if your browser's history was cleared that could happen.

No we no longer even have that option. And about the time we lost that option, the entire interface is running very choppy. I have tried FF and IE. Both browsers are getting almost unplayable, especially this morning. I have a 10 meg line and it took me almost five minutes to log in, and another two before I could click on anything. Then another 3 for those things to load. That is alot of minutes.

1} Seems since the login has changed it takes longer for me to navigate the site meaning it is lagging.

2} My main and my Mule account names are no longer saved and has to be manually typed in to be reached. How they were deleted I do not know but would like this fixed. An also my fiance's name was deleted from the username list as well.

Sometimes when I am certain I typed my password correctly, I get told it was incorrect.
This happened once or twice when my password was saved, too, so there is no way it could have been wrong.


Also I am very upset that my username and password no longer save, as I log into and out of a few accounts regularly (I have storage mules, as well as mules for specific areas of the forums)

I have checked my firefox settings, and it still says to remember stuff put into forms. It doesn't even give me the "do you want to remember" for Gaia any more, and I know for a fact I did not click "never"

First, let me say that I attempted to change the email on my soon to be mentioned account multiple times, but gaia refused to let me do so, even though the email it currently has/had is deactivated because I switched over to another one. Anyway, onto the problem...

Alright, so about 30 minutes ago I tried to log into my account "T3h Cooki" from my recently formatted but afterwords secured computer. I was able to log in with my correct password after 2 attempts at first, at which point I received a gift from my lover "General Hash", I wasn't able to open it because the flash player for the browser hadn't been updated at the time, so the coding was weird.

Very shortly thereafter (no more than 10 seconds after clicking a link to load), I was logged out because of an automatic update restarting my computer and after opening up gaia again (same link too) I was unable to log in after at least 2 sessions of getting blocked for 15 minutes at a time. My account hasn't changed, and I had firewalls up before logging in the first time. My password has not changed, but it will not accept it for some reason. Personally I am annoyed because I know I am not spelling anything incorrectly, nor did I do anything to get "phished", as I said before I have used this link, as accessed from the My Favorites tab, and the same password for a long time.

I will file a report if I have to, but I need to know if I am the only person experiencing this annoyance.

Well, since I first posted here, it's gotten worse for me. Before when I clicked on the username space or even typed the first few letters, a drop down list would come up that I could choose names from. Now nothing shows up. And typing in the correct name and password has become even tougher. I'm almost paranoid now. Will it be successful or won't it? Will I lose my account this time because it isn't reading me correctly or not? I KNOW I'm doing it correctly from my side. I've never ever had this problem with any other site. I've actually begun doing less on Gaia because of the stress and fear I'm going to lose it all because the log-in isn't recognizing accurate usernames and passwords.

The failure of logging in isn't mine, it's Gaia's new log-in. Yet, when I see that notice that tells me too many failed log-ins will result in a 15-minute ban, it makes me very upset.

I think you need to go back to the original log-in box. At least it worked consistently. Then once you figure out why this new Facebook log-in box is messed up and fix it, you can bring it back if you want.
