I had 3188g... I bid on something in the marketplace, and I didn't win it... and I haven't bought anything, but I only have 123g now... what the heck

Hm, guess - wait is the auction expired by now? Because if not you'll have to wait.
If it is expired, not sure.

Hmm, maybe the person who won the item didn't have the Gold to afford it anymore, so you won the Auction instead, but it should of notified you of that. neutral

Try waiting a little while, if you did win the item, it should arrive by tomorrow if not before.

I had that happen once...I bid on something...I lost 200 gold...and didn't win the item...and didn't get the gold back...
