Ryugen
He swore franticly for a moment, giving wild debate to delivering a vigorous kick to the door behind him for no other reason than to try and give outlet to high emotion, jolting again with surprise at the sound of small running feet, which suddenly sounded considerably more sinister now than they had before he entered this nightmareish house. At the same time though, the child seemed to have some idea of how this place worked, and might be his only chance to find his way out of here again.
"H-hey!" He called after the retreating figure, which he could only assume was the girl, hesitating a moment in indecision, wondering if the floor would stay safely under his feet and then starting after the movement. "How the hell do I get out of here??"
His swearing and plaintive calls for help did not fall on deaf ears, but the click-clicking of heeled shoes only paused for a brief moment before continuing. Petra was hardly concerned. Whomever it was would find their way out -- likely through the Library.
She frowned a bit as she walked while Distrust followed quietly at her back. The Library had been more active than usual as of late. She wanted to blame it simply upon the season they were entering, but it was hard to be for certain.
Another child so soon? What
was the Library planning, exactly?
