Okay, so pending I talk to my advisor, this is what people have told me and what I have gathered for myself.
To get my financial aid back, I have to make up every hour that I failed plus 12 more (to prove I'm going to remain full-time). That means from when I lost it, back last spring semester, I need 24-25 credit hours. THEN I have to also have a 2.0 to get it back.
I've made up 14 so far. I am currently registered for 3 this semester 'cause I'm a brokeass b***h. If I sign up for 9 hours (3 classes) for B-Term on March 5th, that will put me at 14+12 = 26 hours. I probably won't be at the 2.0 range after this semester, even with those added on courses but I'll be a lot closer and could easily bring it up more by taking online classes during the summer.
I got bad news today when I checked my mail, I thought I had a 1.84 GPA which was a dramatic improvement from my 0.9 when I bombed and failed a lot of classes....turns out that I have a 1.35. OUCH. So...it took 4 classes to boost 0.9 to a 1.35...so I'm not expecting these next 1 currently (hopefully 4) classes to push me much past 1.75 but it's okay, progress is progress.
For all of this to get me back on the right track, I'm going to need to raise $700 for 3 classes, including fees. Damn that's a lot.
I made $1,000 in 2 weeks to pay for school once....so surely by March 5th I can raise $700.
Anyone is welcome to help. Donations are accepted. As well as loans, I'll pay you back.....and I'll do services too. wink
Current savings: $2 / $700
