Do you offer customs?
Yes.

I don't have a lot of gold, can I have one?
I can't just give them away unfortunately. But, I will have a lot of games and flaffles for you to try to win one... so stick around

Why are they so expensive?
They aren't really. We will try to work with you, as long as you are not unreasonable in your request.

Do you take pet trades?
Yes, we do. Please check with the Colorist.

Are the pets RP required?
Not really, but i would like you to try to be active with the shop a bit. If you have to take off for a bit We understand and will welcome you with open arms when you get back

Do we direct link?
Yes, until your pet is at it's full growth. Then I will ask you to supply a picture for the owners list hosted on your own imaging service. There are just too many images for me to hold them all.

Do you accept items as payment?
Yes, EI's, Donation letters, and some rares, and commons at sellback. For donation pricing, use the lowest price of the Marketplace. They have to cost more then 20k.

Can our pets talk?
Not really. At least, they don't talk to humans. Each has their own form of communication, which can range from body language, to their own verbal language. With every good pet owner, learn the uniqe form of 'talking' your pet uses, and maybe you two will start to understand eachother.

Can we ride the pets?
You can't forget that these are wild creatures. In some cases, with a lot of patience and care, and much faith and trust on both sides, one may be able to ride their pet. Though, I would suggest not doing it for long periods of time, as the strain of your weight may hurt them.

About the RP prompts, how long and thorough do you want us to be?
As long and thorough as you'd like. At least one very well written paragraph, but you can take the continuation of the story as far as you want to go.

My question wasn't listed here
Post it, and I'll get back to you.

Long ago, when gods still roamed the earth, there was a valley hidden high in the mountains. Being created by the Gods, it was made into an entire world. In this world, they brought some of their finest creations. Winged horses roamed the skies, horned ones roamed the earth. And to guard them all, stood the Kirins. They above all else were the finest of all, and took their duty seriously to protect the others.

Over the years, a few other creatures made their way into the valley, those deemed to not cause any harm to the creatures, and the Kirin and gods let them stay. Centuries passed like moments to those who inhabited the lands. The gods would come down and claim their mounts and ride or hook to charriots, and if they came back, lived their lives in peace. But soon, none of their masters came back, and several creatures grew bored, making their way past their guardians and into the world below. Many of these were tamed by man, and because the horses of the day, others are still elusive, and have become the basis of many myths and legends, for all myths and legends have a hint of truth to them.

Occasionally, one will return from the outside world, finding the path they themselves, or their ancestors took to gain entrance back to the valley. It was one of these that returned, that brought a new creature to the valley.

There was a village of people who had lived at the base of the mountain for as long as the village logs were written, their homes built in the high boughs of the trees that grew there. It kept them safe from flash floods, and most creatures of the night, and from the creatures of legend that people had never seen, but heard crying in the night. For them, it was normal. They were the Arasti and neither fire nor high-water could drive them from their homes.

It was one of these, a young girl named Tibini, who noticed a strange stallion out the door of her tree hut, heading into the hills on a moonless night, weaving soundlessly through the trees. His steps were easy as the ground changed from good earth to slick shale of the mountain, and he walked with purpose in his step. No beast belonging to the tribe other climbed onto the mountain, so to see a horse do it was rare. For him to do it at night when he couldn't see was even rarer. So carefully, she climbed down the steps of her home, and started her ascent up the slope behind him, making sure to keep her steps light as to not startle the creature. She followed in his steps, and kept herself low to the ground, sending up a prayer that she would not slip and fall to her death.

When the climb was done, she found herself at the mouth of a cavern, hidden in the craigy peaks of rock. Looking down the path she had traveled, she could just make out the communal cooking fire of the camp below. It was a long, long way down. Gulping at the thought of what would have happened if she had slipped, she turned her attention back to where she had ended her climb.

The cavern was pitch black, and she made her way inside only a small way before tripping on the rough floor. She cried out in surprise as she met the ground hard, at knelt there on hands and knees, wondering why she had followed the mysterious stallion up the hill. There was no way a horse could have made the climb.

Very slowly, the cave started to lighten a bit, and she could see what was around her, and she looked up to see the source of the light, and found her stallion standing before her. His horn glowed with the soft glow of starlight, and she could just make out the scales on his shoulders, and before his legs. Grey eyes with fathomless depths studied her as she watched him in return. Gently he stepped forward, his cloven hooves making no sound on the stone floor, and lowered his head just a bit to take a deep breath. When it appeared he was assured of something, he motioned with an incline to his head, and Tibini rose to her feet, her legs shaky from the climb, and with new bruises and cuts. He led her through the tunnel, through large caverns with stones hanging like jagged teeth and arrows, and finally, into the early light of dawn.

Tibini looked into the valley, but could not see much, except for the fact it was much bigger then what the mountain should have been able to hold. She let out a startled noise as a creature suddenly appeared from below her, powering through the air from below to ledge to above her. With a hand gripped in the stallions mane, she peeked out from the rock outcropping to follow the flight of the winged horse. As she watched the creature flying free, she remembered a tale her great grandmother had told her before she had passed. About the Valley of the God-beasts, the Valley of the Wild; the Valley of the Free Spirits.

It had been found at last.

Looking for Map Artist
.

The entire caldera containing the Valley is approximately 360 miles long by 296 miles wide, and is located in a wild a remote area of the central continent where few tribes have managed to make peace with the gods and live in a dangerous harmony with the indigenous creatures. The only scientist able to enter the valley speculated it was a very large meteor strike, with it's north-eastern wall mostly debris and large rocks uprooted by the strike. Though the lower point near the center has others speculating that it was a giant volcano that collapsed, leaving just several pieces of high wall remaining. The Gods really are the only ones who know.

There are several different breeds that roam the valley. All start out with a "crystal" stage. Individual breed information and traits can be found here.

Crystal
This just gives the basic idea of what the little one inside is going to look like. These gems are only to help the mare conceive. There is not any type of RP that can be with the crystals as they are inanimate objects.

Foal
Well, the mare has given birth, and now there is a new life that just can't seem to keep itself in once place very long. Foals start out close to their parents, but then grow bolder and start exploring the area around them. It's all about the scraped knees, the running around, and exploring in this stage as they try to learn about the world around them.

Adult
They have survived through the ups and downs of growing up, and have now reached adulthood. They are able to breed now, and they can raise family's and create their own herd if they are inclined, or run around on their own.

Guthrin
They are a wolf-like creature, but have a foxish intelligence. Meaning they are built like a wolf, are always get themselves into trouble, one way or another. They can be found in all climates, as they adapt well to their surroundings.
Rarity: Common

Velkir
Lynx-sized creatures with the wings of a hawk, the horns of an antelope, and the tail of a dear. They are very shy, and spend most of their time perfecting the art of hiding. They can also be found in any climate... if you can find them. They are very good caretakers, and very good spy's. Though mild mannered in nature, there is no wrath like that of a Velkir, so if you do find one, you may want to take care of it.
Rarity: Unommon

Deshok
These are mainly found in the warmer climates, the deserts and the tropics. They are very fast, and for some species a bite can kill you in the time it takes to realize that you've been bitten. It takes time to earn the trust of one of these, but when you have it, you have it for life. They go into hibernation during the colder months of the year.
Rarity: Uncommon

Darami
These are only about the size of a large butterfly, though some mixed-breeds are bigger. And they have the brain of a bird. Their days consist of lounging on leaves, chasing each other, and finding new things to play with. This includes hats, left socks, and pens. Now you know where those items have gone. They live in floral areas mainly, or grasslands, and shy away from any colder climate.
Rarity: Common

Gwenem
These are small Dragon-like creature that much prefer the warmer climates, but can spend some time in some of the cooler ones as well, And they enjoy mountains, though they need a warm cave to burrow in, especially when it snows. These little ones are great at delivering a message to another horse of familiar that you are trying to find, and they are great at keeping mice out of your Cave, if that is where you are living. Some even breathe fire! They do not tend to breed quickly, so they may be a bit hard to come by.
Rarity: Rare

Arit' Atam
These are some of the oldest and wisest creatures in the Valley besides the Kirin, so you may usually find one paired up with one of those, though if they find a worthy being of another species, they will bond with them as well. Hard to corrupt, and amazingly fast runners, sometimes you can find one even "flying" by wiggling through the air like a snake, though it has to be a very windy day. They can also manage to "fly" by spreading out their legs to catch the wind in their skin folds though they tend to enjoy a run more then anything, and reserve their 'flying squirrel' mode of transportation if they are trying to get off a mountain, or traveling from one peak to another.
Rarity: Rare

Breeding Information and Requirements

For more information on breeding requirements, please click the link above.

A mare will go to a special cavern located in various places when she is ready to mate. There is a truce there that no violence between any species can take place, as it is their future that is within the caves. Inside the caverns the walls and floors are littered with crystals of all shapes and sizes. There is also several fields of crystals under the lake, ranging in size from small to large. These are known as the spawning grounds, and those with the most crystals have the ability to produce more foals, and are highly fought over around them, though never in them. For the flying creature, like the Griffs and Aglars, there are mountain caves where they can also find crystals, and some herds or flocks will create their territory around one of these crystals caves.

The mare will find a crystal she likes either for color, shape, or both, pluck it gently from the stone, and eat it, which tastes much like rock candy and crunches about the same way. She can then journey back to her mate, and they can conceive a foal together. Without this step, any previous attempts would be in vain. A mare can conceive up to three foals, though sometimes, on rare occasions, she may also have a fourth foal as well.

For the Trybith and Tesharak, it is the male that goes to the cavern to eat the crystals, and thus starts their rut cycle, which can last three or four days. The females need not journey to the caves at all, but merely find a male who has journeyed to the caverns. Males will rarely find a potent crystal and actually mate with two or three females, and only counts as one breeding towards their count. This can happen from any cave.
