Story
Wandering the wilderness, your mind was already in a wilderness of its own. In all the turmoil, chaos, and nonsense of the real world you must've been seeking a place of peace and calm.

It was found when you reached the woods. No complications, nothing but the sound of birds, the rustling of the fauna amongst the forest floor. The light trickling through the leaves of the treetops.

Solitude. Was it all it was cracked up to be? You seem to be the only person here, despite all the life teaming in these woods. Alone with your thoughts, no distractions. It was nice for a time, but now your curiosity's taking over. Where was this place? How on earth did you find it? And will you find your way back out again?

Do you want to find your way back out? That's up to you. But if you'd rather seek the company of the animals for a time, why not stay a while? You may find you can take a little bit of it back with you later...

We give gifts to who we want to when we want to. Deal.
We don't mind modest or minimal posting styles, but please refrain from excessive, large posting styles such as graphics that are large or animated. Please no posting styles that include typed in text (ex. bits of a song or a poem) as it can be confused as part of your actual post text.
No posting graphics or text that causes pages to stretch.
Posting ONLY to advertise your shop or seek referrals for someone else's event, even if it's in the guise of a bump with your referral in your sig, is considered bad manners. Please don't do it without asking permission first. If you ask first, we'll generally allow it.
Bumping with single emotes is fine, we don't care. Posting funny images you find online is fine, too. Just be sure they don't stretch the page or kill people on d-up.

Q: "Who made the lineart(edness)?"
A: In case you didn't read the credits, it was lots of people! Love them! Love them, hard! If you do not love them all, then face my wrath. D8

Q: "Should pirates be running a shop?"
A: Any objections and I plank your arse. >>;;

Q: "How will breeding be handled?"
A: When one critter and another critter love each other very much... Kidding. I'm allowing any sex to produce offspring with any other sex, male/male, female/female, male/female. It's all good. My explanation: MAGIC! 8B

Q: "Do you do pet trades?"
A: Please check the posts on customs & bribes in the guild.

Q: "Are these pets RP required?"
A: Nope! You may RP them if you wish. Who knows, there might be an added bonus for that...

Q: "I just bought/received a squirrel? What gender is it?"
A: The owner of a squirrel gets to pick the gender! Other lineart has gender specific lines, but if you want to call it a boy or girl no matter what the color or the lines are, we're okay with that. Just be sure to be specific.

Q: "Is there a limit to how many times I can breed my critter, squirrels, things...? Durst."
A: No limit to how many you can have, so long as you claim a breeding spot. It's only one breeding slot per player when the slots are open, however. One critter can breed as often as you want them, too. Just no inbreeding. Do you really want babies born with three eyes? D:

Q: "Can they talk?"
A: To each other, yes. To anyone who's not a critter, it sounds like senseless noise. Then again, some consider that to be the same case for the English language. 8B

Q: "If you allow same sex pairing, how do the males get pregnant?"
A: Well, take a sigh of relief (or disappointment, as the case may be) because it's not out the exhaust vent. They don't get preggers, they bud fluff! 8B You know how like you pick up all the cathair off a rug and go "Gee, you could make a whole new cat with all this hair!!"? That kind of thing, except with magic and faerie dust.

[ In-Depth Breeding FAQ ]

Basic Breeding - 2 parents, produces 2 offspring
Freaky Breeding - (we don't judge) 3 or more parents, randomly produces a maximum of 4 offspring

All rules of the natural world do not apply! MAGIC makes babies here!
These breeding rules apply for all creatures. Sorry, no mixed species breedings.
All breedings are 1k per owner OR 2k if you own both parents.
Typically, each 2 parent breeding produces two offspring, if one owner bred the pair then that owner keeps one and the other gets sold.
If two owners bred their pair, each keeps one of the two produced.
Breedings using 3 or more parents will produce a maximum of 4 offspring and it is up to the owners to decide who gets which offspring.
You may not sell or auction the offspring you did not keep.
Things such as items or accessories are not transferred to the offspring. They must be bought individually.
Mutations are 50/50 chance of transferring to one, few, or all offspring. Rare mutations/Cosplay attributes do not transfer, at all.
