The scent of many zurui lingered around the building. Nightshade took his time exploring, poking into corners and under things. He was bored, unready to leave but having nothing to do if he stayed. In one corner, there was a scent of magic, a dusty tickle in his nostrils. Idly, he tracked it down, ears flicking. It came from a string of beads, their color bright red; curious he nosed them around, flipped them playfully up and over his head.

Something strange happened. He wobbled and yelped.

Nightshade and his beads were a thank-you gift from myself to Prolixity. Prolixity offered the lineart for the anthro stage very generously, so it only seemed right for him to have the very first anthro.

A bit of information about the beads: They bond with the very first zurui to use them, and after that, they can be taken on or off at will. When the zurui is not wearing the beads, they appear as a normal adult zurui. When the zurui is wearing the beads, their form shifts to an anthro form. For RP purposes, anyone whose zurui has the anthro beads can use the zurui in either form.
