Welcome! This is The Hatchery, where you can adopt your own Ryunoava. What is a Ryunoava, you ask?

Ryunoava are dragonlike creatures; these furry dragons are native to Genesis (Another plane of existance), although they're multiplanar. Meaning, they exist in most any plane of existance, although Genesis is their origin.

Able to 'fly' and 'hover', all Ryunoava have strong electrical currents that change the composition of the air around them, allowing them to suspend themselves in the air if they so wished. This also suspends wings in the air, as some of the dragons are born with them- they hover away from the body, having nothing to attatch to and generally being very small.

As well as the electricity, which may shock those in close contact if one of the dragons is startled, a small percentage of Ryunoava have the ability to harness the power of fire by using a home-brew of combustable (and mildly toxic) saliva, a spark from their teeth, and three elements: Sulfur, Potassium nitrate or chlorate, and charcoal. The elements of gunpowder.
A quick click from the incisors generates a small spark after a small amount of the gunpowder formula is literally coughed up from a special sac in their necks, and the spark ignites the gunpowder. The flow of fire is controlled by blowing outwards from the mouth.
Males have manes running down the length of their backs, while females commonly show the pattern of being maned from the head to haunches, and then the tip of the tail.




There is also a subspiecies of ryunoava known as Urarif, who are about the size of housecats. They haven't evolved, unlike their larger cousins, to be capable of speech. Most can understand speech, however.

These subspiecies only have two growth stages.

How to get:

These are flat rates: you can buy one egg for 3k. Every now and then a new egg will appear, as well as what will occur if a breeding pair mates and decides to sell the egg back to the shop (We will buy it for 1k). Once in a while, we may hold an auction for a special type of Ryunoava.

NEWS
It seems for Valentine's day that one of the Gods has left a present- although an odd one. Ikua, the half-Ryunoava goddess of being a whore procreation, has given the scientists at The Hatchery one of her eggs, that seems... oddly festive for the upcoming large holiday. She's informed us that the egg is indeed male, and his name is Amadeaus. She's also informed us that there may be another along the lines of another holiday coming soon, and then walked out as if nothing had happened. Odd.

Oddities aside, we as a committee have decided that this egg should be offered for auction, for the non-Genes that have adopted ryunoava in the past.

The bidding will begin a 5k, with a 40k autobuy. It will end on: Feburary fourteenth.

Okay, here's the deal: You pay me 1.5k, I'll give you the lineart. You create and cert your own ryunova.

If you'd really like me to, once you've coloured the child stage and can show me the markings, pay another 500g to have me replicate it as best I can onto the young adult lineart.

There are near-no limits for this event, but the only catch is: Only two people can do it at a time. I just don't feel comfortable letting more than that do it at once. Please be smart if you choose to theme your own ryunoava. ._.

Breeding info:
For two Ryunoava to breed both players must consent by sending me (TheAsterik) a PM and their Ryunoavas must be in the young adult or adult stage. Then one player pays 6k or the two pay 3,000g each to breed, producing anywhere from one to four eggs (Depending on what kind of relationship). The owners may keep, sell, or give their eggs to another player (Who must speak to me). The mating pair may try again to mate after their eggs have hatched. (In five days or less)

If your Ryunoavas are officially recognised as a mating pair, the chances of multiple eggs are higher (From two to four). If it's a fling and you don't wish to have them mated for life, the egg expectancy drops from one to three.


TO RECAP:

1. Both people send me 3,000g (6k in total).
2. If it's a mating-for-life, you can ger 2-4 eggs.
3. If it's not, you can get 1-3.
4. You decide what to do to your eggs.

Wings - Since wings seem so popular, these ensure that your Ryunoava will have wings when they hatch from an egg, or that they will grow wings. 600g

Portrait - Custom art that comes in two forms:
1) Headshot. High-detail, looks like this. 500g
2) Full-body. Medium detail, but official art of your Ryunoava. Looks like this. 550g

TWO-USE ITEMS:

Stopper- this stops your Ryunoava from maturing into the next stage of its life. This is completely FREE, but you need to buy an Accelerator if you change your mind.

Accelerator- This moves your Ryunoava up one stage in its life. From egg to child, or from child to young adult. It cannot, however, make a young adult into an adult. 1000g


Marker - This gives a fur marking to your Ryunoava, picked completely at random. 400g

Lab Rat - This gives your Ryunoava a random mutation. These are genetic and may be passed on to offspring. May be positive or negative. 500g

Eraser- Undoes an unsatisfactory Marker or Lab Rat, returning your Ryunoava to the way it was before. 500g
