Welcome to the Grid, or The Glider Rescue and Information Dome. Specializing in the research, and the rescue of the Australian marsupial, the Sugar Glider. We are located in a small town of Brittleton, New Hampshire. Actually.. the dome is so big we ARE the town of Brittleton now. The program is funded by the wealthy Sandra Wilson, who started the program after adopting her own sugar glider, Tobias, aka Toby. Her love for Toby developed into a want to help others like him. So she finally had a place to put her millions. She began a biodome, housing hundreds of thousands of eucalyptus, and acacia trees. The environment is kept at a temperature that is the same all year round, despite what the temperature outside may be.

We rescue Sugar Gliders from all around the world. Ones that have been abused by their humans, and some that were just without homes. We promote breeding, and normalcy for the Sugar gliders as they come into our facility.

Pets that have been abused, are kept in their own area away from the general population of wilds. A wild and a pet have very little chance at being able to meet, as we take great pains to keep them seperate. Human volunteers can enter this area, and they stay there usually for a few days, as if camping. This happens a three times a month. Some volunteers can come in at any time they wish, and just stay for a few hours with their Glider friends.


Once the wilds are here, it is like they are back in the wild. No humans, besides the researchers once every now and again, are allowed inside this section of the biodome. We are trying to recreate their natural environment, one without people, one without the risk of death from predators.

- Some of your Information is wrong! How is that realistic?
We focus on some realistic aspects of a Sugar glider in this shop. However we are not a purely realistic shop, and have added our own twist to things!

Joey
They have just fallen from their mothers pouches, and they cannot see. Their eyes are still sealed. They can move around their tree nests, but usually do not leave the company of mother until adolescence.


Adolescence
They are able to move around much like their parents, though they are considerably smaller. They are unable to hold territory yet, and may exist in the territory of his father until he hits adulthood. Some stay with their parents throughout their lives.

Adults:
The males are larger than the females, and their length from the nose to the tip of the tail is about 12 to 13 inches. As adults, males mark their territory with scent glands that are located on their heads and chests. Females may exist anywhere they like in any of the territories.

- Only Natural colors here. Want your favorite cosplay? It needs to be turned into a natural color scheme. And be practical. We won't allow a Bright Blue macaw, or anything of the sort.

Breedings cost 12k.
-Breedings are only between a male and a female. We do not have the technology for anything other than this!
- A male may breed with mutiple females at a time, however the females may not breed again until their children hit adolescence.
-Only adults may breed.
-Our sugar gliders can have between 2-3 joeys. (If there are three, the last joey is usually smaller than the other two.)
-The female will carry the babies in her pouch until they come out on their own. (This is when you see your babies!)

-You can keep one baby a breeding.
-You may give your offspring away, or hold contests in the guild for them. You may not sell your offspring, or trade them for something else. If we catch you doing this, there will be trouble.

Colorists needed! We are hiring two colorists to be FULL TIME status for the shop! To apply, see below!

Your job will include colouring pets for flatsales, raffles and games, and to contribute pets for any shop events that are held.

Your payment is 100% for everything that you color.

Even though you will not have a set amount of pets to do each month, we expect you to remain active, and to let us know if you are going on hiatus.

Being able to edit is not necessary, but it is a plus.
