Etoile giggled like a human might, an odd sound coming from a Dream. She flicked her wings open and glided off the shelf, finding a hiding spot underneath the dust ruffle of a small side table.

"I've been there a few times, but I think we do need to make a trip soon," Prox mused. "Aware as I am of what goes on in this world, I'm only one person, and more eyes and more viewpoints are important. It would have to be soon, though." He smiled. "Before the egg hatches."

"Hello," Teratus said gravely to the hatchling.
Only if you want to be. she answered with some siggestiveness, not budging from her spot on top.

"Egg?" Chae echoed.

Shiloh tried to balance and look up at the elder, but that caused her to overbalance and she toppled over, appendages and wings flailing indignantly like a thrown over turtle.

A soft snort with an amused look. Well, I didn't say that, he said, remaining there. You have me trapped, remember?

Min's ears went up slightly, as she drank her tea and listened.

Samsara popped out form ehr perch, making a high circle of the rom, watching and listening to overything and checking out what could be hidden under.
She purred, amused. Im sure not. But if it amuses you to be... She put her head down and licked his nose.

Etoile suppressed another giggle and held herself very still.

"There was finally an open slot at the clinic," Prox said. "I have my duties to Dream; but also to my family." He looked a little embarrassed, but pleased as well.

Teratus picked Shiloh up with a gentle claw and set her back on her feet. "Careful," he chuckled.

Samsara first checked the chairs and table, then shuffled by the couch, searching low first. The high sweep produced nothing, and the couhc and bookcase were unlikely - yet somewhat obsvious reuses - "Hmmm...."

She clicked a bit, scanning around and walking along the floor.

Mintaka was taking a sip as she mulled the words ov- She spit the tea back into the cup, avoiding choking completely on it. "Ack!" She set the cup aside quickly before she doused herself, patting ehr chest momentarily and sputtering still. She looked at Prox, slightly bewildered, even as the grin crossed her face. She rose, bowing slightly. "Well..." She coughed again, hopefully getting all the liquid out. "Congratulations, Prolixity?" She began to muse a bit on gifts.
"Oh?" she answered. "Congratulations, Prox. I wasn't aware." She normally should/would have been. Some guardian she was being. Grumbling low in her throat in annoyance at herself, she crossed her arms over her and stared out the window.

Her body swivelled slightly to look at him again and she swayed, whirring annoyance at her plight. Then she just toddled forward into Teratus and head butted him.

he rumbled in a low laugh. Perhaps it does, but it's your choice, now, isn't it. He leaned up somewhat to return the favor. Doesn't mean I'm completely helpless yet.

Etoile giggled again, then hushed herself. It was a good game, most certainly.

"I'm glad to be able to tell you both first. You're among my closest friends," Prox said, and covered a yawn with his hand. He smirked a little at Min. "Sorry."

"Ferocious small one!" Teratus said. He looked up to chaeval, silently watching her, but without any accusation in his red eyes.

"I'm fine," she said, grinning still. "I'm not dead, yet." A slight blush touched her cheeks a moment and she shook her head. "Still, congrats. Way too early for a due date, but... methinks I finally havea good reason to stop moping around the houses and go out."

She darted through the coffee table, clicking slightly. "Hmmm.." She began to go aroudn the perimeter, closing on the table as she ruled out spots one by one. "Not here," she mused from within a lamp that was off as her red eyes focused on the table. She thought she'd heard something... She hopped down, onto the table now.
Chae grinned slightly. "Im happy for you, really. So we have double reason to keep you out of trouble. You keep a roof over our heads, as well as having a family." There was a third reason, but she was adeptly able to avoid that referece. She hated keeping secrets. Had Ter found out anything while she was gone? Or even Prox from the Library? So much to catch up on!

No? But I like this position rather. But I'll be nice. This time. She threw herself down beside him and lazed out in a way that would have done her father proud.

Not fierce. Easily frustrated. Corinth chuckled, and then lay herself on the grond so the youngling could see her more easily.

Shiloh's eyes lit up. FINALLY

Etoile couldn't resist peeking under the ruffle to see where her pursuer was.

Prox looked troubled for a moment. "It's a balancing act. But I don't want to add a full Court to that - we're doing well enough with the Dreamers we have, and the High Court is eight years dead." He shook his head. "I don't need that, unless Dream needs it; and wild as it is, it has survived and thrived this long." He looked back and forth between the two women. "If it's not necessary, I don't know why itheld on so long; if it is, how has Dream done so well without it? No, we need to find that out. It's been put off too long."

Teratus flicks his feathers over Shiloh, clicking to her. "Be stubborn," he said.

He rolled over next to her, purring slightly and matching her lazy lounging in the grasses. Glad you'll be nice once, he said, bemused slightly. Not that I minded of course. Was... rather enjoyable. He left the sentence open deliberately, glancing skyward. He'd almsot stayed home, too, but decided to follow up since the loneliness was getting to him.

Sasmara was walking circles, peering down when she saw the movement. Ah! She fluffed up, amused and pleased and jumped down to land, and nosed under the curtain, popping up to lift it over almost like a cowl or hood as she peered under. "Found!" she exclaimed in her odd way.

She seemed rather happy and sure of herself, much different then her normally serious and dour self, though she wasn't completely oblivious to the talking. She was greatly curious, about a great many things indeed, and all this very much had her attention as well as the new one, Etiole.

It was a welcome distraction to all the seriousness as well.

Mintaka nodded, understanding full well. She had no attachments much other then her 'sister' which wasn't that much to worry over for now. She did however have enough concerns with what was going on elsewhere.

"I wish I had an answer already Prox. Perhaps it held because people believed it needed it. It almost makes me think of the chicken and egg question for some reason." She shrugged slightly, her tail swaying slowly. Is there a difference in things then and now? Some tell-tale trace of something which makes the difference of Dream eight years ago and now? Only things I can think of really which might help - for the moment."
She hardly needed the encouragement. flailing, the light touch of the feathers was enough to send her down to the floor again.

Corinth sighed. This one was going to be a handful.

"WHen should we go then?" Chae asked.
