[Prolixity]

Etoile worked her way methodically around the room. Couch, chair, shelf; up, then down. Next shelf. Next shelf. "I amgetting close," she said aloud, listening carefully for clues.

"I see you've met Etoile," Prox said from the doorway. "Hi, guys." He looked exhausted, but not unhappy.

[Mintaka]

Sasmara squished further back, almost clonking ehr head on a book. She spied Prx and slid back further. Obviously he knew about this one then.

But she wasn't about to get caught just yet. She shut ehr eyes, lest their red glow completely give her away.

The gardens outside are safe. Very rpetty too, with many flowers. Kept well. He gave a respectful nod towards Prolixity.

Mintaka grins slightly, taking another sip of tea. "Seems so... new species I take it?" Her eyes watched the ltitle game going on with a bemused smile. "You haven't seen my errant Moriphae, eh? Was in search of Sora last I heard. And how are you, anyway?" She took a long drink, savoring the flavor.

[chaeval]

"Prox!" Chae greeted. It had been a long time, indeed. "How are you?" She looked around to see who else had followed him in.

*If I go out there, will I come back all covered in yellow dust? her tone was amused again, but she bounded towards the door.

[Prolixity]

"I hear feathers!" Etoile said gleefully, and started at the bottom of the bookshelf again, examining each shelf in turn.

"She's a mutation - Arezou found and presented her egg to me. I've been looking into the phenomenon - apparently they don't survive past juvenile stage without a Dreamer to bond with, hence why you don't see them wild." He cast an affectionate glance at the odd Dream, then smiled at Min and chae. "Exhausted, but happy," he answered. "How about you?"

Teratus glided in, clicking with amusement, and landed heavily onthe back of the couch.

[Mintaka]

She was as far back as she could get, trying not to move, but opened an eye to peer out at the sound of Teratus entering. Her midn flicked a moment to what ausement the elder dream woudl likely have over this one...

Mintaka nodded. "Ah... I see. Would make sense. And would likely need a range of emotions... considering the seemingly mixed appearances? Or some such?" She scratched her head slightly, seperating thigns in her head. She'd been doing too much study and reading into many things and it was starting to blur.

He laughed then in a slight rumble. Only if you romp through the flowers too much. He winked, bouncing out a bit and looking back. He circled back, reaching out. Tag! He bounded off a bit, looking back now a moment.

Corinth greeted her parent with a whistle, and collecting the disappointed Shiloh within her wings. The youngling toppled with a sqwawk


*Hey!* She raced out after him. Who knew where this would take them?

Chae frowned. "Dream seems to be...expanding somehow. Or have so many odd things always happened? Cheeslings, mutants..." she shook her head. "Is it getting unstable, Prox?"

[Prolixity]

"I seeee you!" Etoile explaimed, and poked her head at the faint red glow.

"She seems to prefer a single emotion, but feed on more than one." Prox considered chaeval's question carefully. "There have been a lot of shifts. Worlds joining to Dream, worlds breaking off. I know for a fact there's more than one of this world, as well. The histories seem to imply that it happens sometimes, but it does worry me ... " He trailed off.

"Happens," Teratus said shortly. "Natural." He whistled back to Corinth, more gently.

Prox snorted. "You say that as though you're old enough to have witnessed it, pompous thing."

[Mintaka]

Mintaka stifled a snicker, grinnign slightly. "Yeah... thigns do change with time, for better or worse." She bit her lower lip slightly and shook her head. "Perhaps Dream adapts as well, to those that pass through?"

Samsara squakced, shuffling a bit. She ahd no way out, so naturally, she was caught fairly. She snickered then, whistlign a soft greeting to Teratus and poked her head a little out. "Yes, caught Samsara fairly. Fun!" She fluffed, getting a better look at Etoile.

Kashmir glanced up once, and only once. That was one for the daydream's records to take back for Moriphae. samsara, fun? Kashmir exuded slight amusement.

Tiresias ran, trying to keep an even lead and use the terrain slightly, enjoying the freedom and company. Not too much fo a lead though!

Reaper shifted his snout outward more, sniffling a bit. He spoke little, having been drawn more into the communication that was in emotion and body language, as Ophi herself was. He had once considered her form a prison, and such that it was. But it was one that they were both resigned to. What other option was there. At least they were together, if eternally apart.

Racing after the other male, she let her smaller form carry her more to the ground, counting on less wind resistence to speed her way.

Chae had gotten still at Prox's comment, but Corinth drew all eyes to her by suddenly squealing happily and setting the dreamling back on her feet.

[Mintaka]

He slowed up slightly, just to let her catch up a bit and conserve some energy for the upcoming chasing which would happen.

Kashmir oiled there, watching the two in some thought. What exactly was in the daydream's head was undertain, perhaps, but the daydream was silent for the most part. Kashmir was then drawn by the sound of Corith and he glieded over, sending a greeting to both.

Etoile fluffed her feathers and wriggled her tufted tail, pleased. "My turn now, or something else?" she inquired.

"The balance is holding," Prox said. "Dream retains its integrity, even with the shifts." He shook himself, and flopped down on the couch, looking up to Corinth and Shiloh. "I can't say it doesn't alarm me sometimes," he told chaeval. "But it's not breaking."

Teratus sidled over to his daughter and the dreamlet, clicking curiously.

[Mintaka]

"Not breaking is good," Mintaka said, drinking a little more tea. "How've things been other then Dream?" She scratched her head momentarily with ehr tail, closing her book and setting it aside.

She tilted ehr head slightly and nodded. "Your turn," she said, scooting back into her spot a moment.

[chaeval]

Shiloh's silver eyes blinked at the elder and she stumbled her way over to him, giving a rather inelegant squall as she whirlwinded her wings desperately for balance.

Corinth stepped a bit forward, sparing a few nuzzles to her elder. *Awkward now. Not always.* she noted.


"Well, that's something at least." Chae sighed. "We really...should go to the library though Prox. It's been a really long time since we were...I mean, since we were out in that direction." She was quiet a few moments, worried. What had happened to the others? Were they just quietly waiting for them to leave the safety here?

She stretched to catch up and then pounced towards him with a smirk.

He slowed up just enough, taking the impact of the pouncing and rolling with it, ending up under her. I guess that makes me 'it' now?
