Arezou quietly strolls in to the mansion with her wingless dream Ephemere following closely by her side. Although he was much shorter, and obviously a mutation himself, he carried himself like a dignitary.
The place smelled clean and new - like spring and it was time, Arezou felt, to take a nap. She was getting on in her years and Dream Walking was not as easy as it used to be. After handing her Dream a book from her coat pocket, she curled up in a chair for a bit of a rest. Ephemere accepted the book graciously before he too took a seat and began to read. |
