"Hello stranger."
Shanti let out a shriek of surprise, spinning around to see Eight standing there with a smirk on her face. That wasn't fair! She'd snuck up on her! The Dreamlet fell backwards and sat down, cooing softly when she was picked up and pet. "Can't say that was entirely what I'd hoped, but it'd been fun nonetheless." Eight laughed, lifting Shanti so she could sit on her shoulder and looking around. Hm...where was everyone? The halfling shrugged a bit and glanced at Shanti in the corner of her eye, petting the top of her head gently and smiling. "You have fun while I was gone or did you just sleep the whole time?" Shanti chirped happily, closing her eyes at the petting and flapping her wings a bit. This was the life! She tilted her head a bit at Eight's question, shaking it and hopping up and down on her shoulder. She'd had lots of fun! The peaceful feelings she was giving Eight was a much better answer, she thought. |

Finally a little peace, even if there was a few people around. Sarai found a way to deal with that, and just tuned it out. Then she settled on a pillow once again, preening once quickly and then settled, sighing lightly as she closed her eyes. Peace at last...
Next to the tiny nightmare was her Dreamer, watching her closely. 'She's been acting kinda werid lately...' Rhap thought before quickly strocking Sarai as the nightmare clicked slightly. |

"I'm actually pretty surprised your legs aren't as sharp as they look!" Eight chirped, flopping down on the couch and looking around once again. It was so quiet, but that was definitely equivalent to a breath of fresh air compared to the seven children back at home. The halfling blinked and looked around at the sound of a small click, spotting Rhap and Sara nearby and grinning. "Hey, Rhap!"
Rhap? If Rhap was here, then that meant that...yes! Sarai was here as well! Shanti chirped happily and slid down Eight's sleeve to hurry over to the purple nightmare, preening her wings quietly. It was so good to see a friend around. |

Opening her eyes, she looked over and then chirpped. Yet another nap ruined. Joy.
She smiled and waved. "And were where you??" she asked in a joking tone. |

Eight's smile brightened, sitting down beside Rhap and shrugging innocently. "Nio's wedding. He's my boyfriend's uncle, so I was invited to go!" And what a wonderful wedding it'd been! Absolutely beautiful! "And how've you been?"
Shanti blinked and tilted her head, clearly confused as to why Sara didn't look as happy to see her. Had she woken her up? Oops! That wouldn't do at all! She chirped apologetically and flopped over next to the nitemare. Might as well let her have her nap! |
