Details:
Dice Games:
○ I will roll a certain number of dice or use the random number generator to roll a random number.
○ you will perform the same action (same number of dice, or same range with the RNG) and try to match my number.
○ the first person to match my number wins the pet.
Partner Dice Games:
○ you will choose a partner and post the provided code to enter with them.
○ partner A will roll one 20-sided die; they may then leave if need be.
○ partner B will then roll one 20-sided die and try to match their partner's roll
○ the first pair to get matching numbers wins a set of pets.
Dice Battle:
○ you will have 24 hours to post a specific code to enter the dice battle game.
○ after 24 hours, I will pair up people and roll a 20-sided die.
○ then each pair of people will roll a 20-sided die, each one trying to get closest to my roll; you have 24 hours from the time that I rolled to do your rolling or forfeit the game.
○ whomever was closest to my roll gets to advance to the next round; whomever was not is eliminated from the game.
○ in the case that both people in a pairing get the same number, both people must re-roll.
○ in the case that both people in a pairing get equally close to my number - for example, my number is 8; person A gets 7 and person B gets 9 - the person who did not get higher than my roll will advance.
○ in the case that there is an odd number of entrants, I will pair up with them; I will then roll as if I were a contestant trying to get my roll closest to the goal number that was already rolled.
○ there will generally be multiple rounds that span over a few days before one person emerges victorious and wins the pet.
Post-A-Picture/Video:
○ I will give you a theme, like "lolcats" or "cthulu".
○ you will post one image or video pertaining to the theme.
○ the people who post the videos/images I like the most will win a pet.
○ one entry per person - no editing your entry.
○ you may not proxy but if you win you may give your prize to someone else.
○ keep all entries PG-13! Swearing is fine as long as it's not excessive. Avoid sexual references.
The Spelling Game:
○ I will post a phrase and a list of the numbers that correspond with the letters' place in the alphabet.
○ you will use Gaia to randomize a number between 1-26.
○ for each number that you roll that matches one in the phrase, you may "cross it off"; you only have to roll each letter's number once.
○ if you roll a number that is not part of the phrase, just try again.
○ once someone has rolled each of the numbers in the phrase, they win the pet.
Rock-Paper-Scissors:
○ you will roll a single four-sided die; at the same time, post either "rock", "paper", or "scissors".
○ the number that you rolled represents the choice that your opponent would have chosen; 1 is rock, 2 is paper, 3 is scissors.
○ if your opponent's "choice" would have lost to yours, you win a point; the first person to 10 points wins the pet.
○ for example, say you post "paper" and you roll a 1 - that means that your opponent used rock, and since paper covers rock, you win a point.
○ in case you're not sure: rock smashes scissors, scissors cuts paper, and paper covers rock.
○ if you happen to roll a 4, you cannot roll again until 5 minutes from the time of the post that got the 4.
○ do not edit your posts - this is cheating, and you will be punished for it!
BINGO:
○ at the specified time, I will provide a "template" of a bingo card for you to fill out.
○ you fill out the bingo card with numbers of your choice, without repeating any numbers; you place one number in each slot, except for the free space; each number should be between 1-50.
○ when the card is filled out, and you're sure that there's no repeated numbers, you post it in the thread.
○ I will then collect all of the cards and post them together; if you are caught editing your card once the game has started, you will be disqualified from the game!
○ if, once the game has started, you realize that you've got a repeat, please say so; we will stop the game for a short time to allow you to choose a new number for one of the spots that have repeats, as long as it is not a number that has already been rolled.
○ I will roll numbers between 1-50 using Gaia's random number generator.
○ post your card every time I roll a number, even if none of yours match; if one of the numbers that I roll matches a number you have on your card, make that number have bolded and red font.
○ the first person to get a column (vertical) or row (horizontal) and make the word "BINGO" on their card have red font will win!
The Colouring Game:
○ I will open up Photoshop and prepare to colour a pet.
○ I will roll a single six-sided die and ask a question, such as, "What colour are the pet's eyes?"
○ you will roll a single six-sided die and post a reply, such as, "Navy blue!"
○ the first person to match my number will get that attribute added to the pet I am making.
○ when all of the questions have been answered, I will compile a list of participants and roll one of them to keep the pet I just made.
Scavenger Hunt:
○ I will edit posts in the main thread and guild, as well as any event threads, to have images of pets.
○ the first person to find a hidden pet and quote the post in this thread (not the thread you found it in if you found it in the guild) will win the pet.
○ only one pet per person.
○ please do not tell others where pets are hidden if you find more than one.
