n.n; My apologies - I must have overlooked that.

EDIT - I think what confused me regarding the species consideration (though re-reading I realize now that even the most minor Koshka influence makes a character a koshka) was the illustrative species guide with the pointed ear as "neither".

It's neither because the Mench only allow pure Mench into their society, but without fur a individual isn't welcome as a Koshka either. Xig has the situation with the ears, and eyes, and he hides them both to fit in with a group of Mench bandits.
