Nah, that's alright. The livetrace feature will actually alter the lineart a little bit, so I'd rather just work with the size it's on now. I also messed around with some of the brush settings thanks to another suggestion, and that has some really nice sharp strokes.

I try to avoid livetrace like the plague anyways. If I need to use vector, I'll just vector-line myself. Livetrace is weird.

Live trace is pretty situation specific. You have to use the right settings to reduce deformation as much as possible, but you're right-- if you want it perfect you gotta pen tool it yourself.

Mind sharing how you changed the brush settings?

IT vectorizes existing art. It's far from perfect, but with a few tweak afterwards, sometimes you can make it work.

I went to brush settings on the upper right hand side of the screen and changed the texture! Scale at 1%, depth at 65%. It's helped tremendously. surprised

Yeah Sabin, I've heard of that, haven't tried it myself though! It seems like it's an online version of live trace. Does the trick sometimes!

Sabin- Cute ;3; It's very "I Say!" the ear seems a bit funny in it's ridge though. I take it the nails are koshka? :3

surreality- sharp lines are tough :C I use opencanvas for mine, though if you make a harder brush on PS, like actually make a black circle with very little anti-alias and set it as a brush type (theirs are all very soft) you might be able to achieve darker lines.

On another note- I've used flash for lineart before, it's a bit more temperamental then OC, but it works.

Ghost- It's a good start! Remember to keep a lightsorce! Shade on the areas that would be getting th least light, and look for reference if you have to :3
