Yeah, I personally was on the side of the purples, for truth to character and to match his hair, but I figured it'd be nice to do a mockup and I'm rather fond of the browns but I'm thinking that I might use that brown-ish colour scheme on one of my OCs so s'all good.

I like both versions. Maybe some of that royal purple could be incorporated into the brown version in, like, the little details??

Ooh, they really do both look nice, Bane!
I think that the purples really do look nice - to keep the character - you already really do have a lot of nifty steampunk-y accessories to setting-ify it. Brown/brasses are the kind of official trendy colors of the setting, but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE has to wear them :3

And I've got Hellboy's flats done, too biggrin


I might need to take his coloration towards something a little more natural, though. Maybe something Native-American-y or feline russet...
