Adventure Inside.
Two words on a simple white business card... how could that cause such frustration?! The little card randomly appeared; you don't know where it came from or how it ended up in your hands, but those unassuming words have been begging you to visit the address located on the reverse side.
'Best marketing ploy, ever,' you think, as you stand outside the listed address. Before you is a quaint storybook cottage, set back in the woods and surrounded by spectacular gardens. For some reason, your heart races and anticipation grows, making you hesitant to take those last... few... steps... to where a hand-written sign on the thick wooden door greets 'Welcome, Adventurers!' in an appealing, flowing script. Taking a deep breath, you finally open the door, not quite knowing what to expect~
A bell jangles merrily as the door swings, prompting a musically voiced greeting from the dim recesses of the shop as you step inside. As your eyes adjust from the sun, you see the owner of the voice peeking out from behind a tall shelf: a lovely young woman... in jeans and a sweater. Dark bangs frame a piquant face dominated by large emerald eyes and a friendly smile. Suddenly disappointed, you realize you were hoping for something a bit more extraordinary!
Murmuring a return greeting and looking around, you see bookcases throughout the room, stuffed with books of all sizes; the colorful rows broken by displays filled with fantastical figurines, scented candles, and various crystals. An air of something magical seems to surround you just walking through the shop: but as appealing as all of it is, some nagging voice insists that the books are not entirely what was meant by 'Adventure Inside.' Dragging yourself away from the allure of the books and sink-into-me arm chairs scattered about, you wander back toward where the shopkeeper now leans against a counter, watching your approach.
"Is there something I can help you with?"
Not knowing quite how to start, you reach for the card that brought you. Suddenly unable to find it, you open your mouth to explain---only to look up to see the shopkeeper holding the card with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. Confused, and a little irritated by the theatrics, you hear yourself admitting to finding the card somewhere and that the curiosity surrounding it has been driving you nuts. Trailing off, realizing this sounds ridiculous, you are surprised when the shopkeeper laughs and cryptically answers your unvoiced questions:
"If you knew where or how you had found this card, it would not have been meant for you. Go out the door there, into the garden. That is where your adventure awaits you."
Well, apparently, you aren't the only crazy one. But the garden was gorgeous from a distance, so why not go see it up close? Following where the shopkeeper is now pointing, you head through the side door and into astonishingly bright sunlight. As the door closes softly behind you, and disappears, you realize that you aren't in Gaia anymore... and there is now a tiny crystal in your hand.
Myriamele watched, smile spreading, as their newest arrival moved through the shop and into the gate to the Spiraglades. Casually fanning herself with the mysterious little white card, she wondered who it might bring them next.

Mother knows...
It all started when their mother sent them three little crystals and a note saying, 'Adventure carefully.'
Laille slowly, deliberately examined the globe-shaped crystal with her magic, trying to figure out what it was and how it worked. But it wasn't doing anything. Being of an impatient and more impetuous nature, Myriamele reached out to take the globe... and the moment the sisters' magics combined, there was a brilliant flash of light: teleporting both to a forest glade where an annoyed little creature appeared to be waiting just for them...
Thus the adventure began~

The Worlds
Gaia ::
Gaia is our realm; for all intents and purposes, the real world. However, there are more than just humans living there and magic is something that exists inside all of us. Myriamele and Laille are humans with significant magical abilities. They run a book shop called Adventure Inside and this is the only place in Gaia where there is a magical balance that allows for the Gladiers to exist in our world. Casual, in-shop RP takes place in and around the bookshop and its gardens.
The Spiraglades ::
The Spiraglades are the realm of the Gladiers. They are a series of islands, floating among the stars and the Gladiers are able to move freely between them. They encompass various terrains and habitats that allow Gladiers and their partners seemingly endless explorations and adventure. The Glades are accessed by a gate Myria and Laille created in their garden. This is where more formal, guild RP takes place and more details can be located here along with our RP rules and guidelines.
The NPCs

The brains and personality behind Adventure Inside, Myria is outgoing and friendly. The bookshop is, for the most part, hers---but Laille lives with her there and it takes both of them to maintain the magical balance required to have a permanent gate to the Spiraglades located in Gaia. Myria is the one in charge of their little white card that entices Gaians to their shop in search of an adventure.

Shy and not entirely comfortable with strangers, Laille is the power behind the gate to the Spiraglades ...and the quiet, logical voice that Myria appears at times to lack. She is very powerful and meticulous with her studies; she spends more time in the Glades than her sister because she has fewer responsibilities in the shop. Laille helps Gaians to bond with their newly found friends.
Illorian ::
The Cetus elder summoned by the crystal that first teleported the sisters into the Spiraglades. He is incredibly intelligent and his magical ability is far more advanced than that of a normal Gladier. He can cross the gate without assistance from the girls and you can frequently find him snoozing in the bookshop or in the garden, with Laille.

The Pets
Gladiers are the inhabitants of the Spiraglades. They are all inherently magical creatures, but each species has specialized characteristics, abilities, and culture due to its island of origination. The listed attributes are general; your Gladier does not have to adhere perfectly. We are all unique!
The Spicae
Residents of the forested mountains of the Flyterion Glades, the Spicae are an energetic, social species. The are generally outgoing and more than happy to make friends. Spica do not have the magical prowess of the Ceta or strength of the Circini, but they can fly...and they are fine with that! They specialize in illusions and other magical trickeries, as well as boundless mischief and energy.
The Circini
Tribal warriors of the rolling plains of the Catalia Glades, the Circini teach their kits the value of independence and strength. As they possess the fewest magical abilities of all the Gladier species, the Circini have long valued physical prowess of all types. Almost brusque when compared to the Spicae and far more intense than the Ceta, the Circini make exceptionally reliable companions.
The Ceta
The cool, green forests and quiet ponds of the Urasiel Glades gave rise to the Ceta. For the most part, these Gladiers are mild-mannered: laid back and peaceful. Where the Circini generally have only the magic that sustains them and the Spicae dabble and play with magic, the Ceta exist for it. They are the most powerful Gladiers with magical arts and tend to be highly creative and philosophical.

Flat Sales
This is probably the simplest way to get a gladier. The specific rules and any special requirements will be listed by the colorist running the sale in the initial post. We try to give warnings before a sale, but sometimes we like to surprise and reward those who post frequently.
cost is 10,000g; but you can pay what you will beyond that
we usually do not allow proxies as our sales generally run 24 hours
if we do not see payment or hear from you in 48 hours, we reroll your place
Games
Here is another easy way to get a gladier. We like to play as much as you all do, so sometimes, when we don't have time to prepare a sale or event, we do have time to color one gladier and invite you all to come play to find it a home! Games can be planned or spontaneous.

Raffles
Raffles are generally only seen here during events. But as with flat sales, specifics of each raffle will be posted within the raffle post or guild thread. There is never a form for tickets; please just title your trade with the number of tickets you are purchasing! No trade = no tickets.
tickets are 1,000g each. You must buy in multiples of 5, please
we reserve the right to cap how many tickets each person can get, overall
you may purchase tickets for your friends, but the cap would apply to them as well
Auctions
Auctions are generally only seen here during events. As with both methods about, specific rules will be posted with the initial post or in the guild thread housing the auction. Event participants can only win one auction per event; we try to spread the wealth between everyone playing.

payment is expected within 24 hours of the close of an auction
we do not take items; so if you need to liquidate to pay, PM Kiareii to discuss
Special
Like most B&C shops, we offer customs/bribes, and breedings. Each has its own subforum in our guild, the links are included below for your reading pleasure. Open slots will generally be posted by the colorist, in the thread title, and we send out a guild announcement as well.
