Eeewww, but sounds like something I would do really ^^;; lol Was it your own tuba?? If I remember correctly you've got to be careful to not put too much oil on anyways?

I use to play clarinet so if mine went falling it wasn't so bad ^^;; I think I maybe just cracked my mouthpiece an reed a bit once. >w<

Nah, wasn't my horn. It was my friend Kevin's; his mouthpiece was stuck, and I was attempting to get it out for him. gonk

If you use too much oil, it can sound weird, but Kev's tuba is old and crappy, and you have to use a lot of oil on it to make the valves go down.

Of course, now I have a mental picture of someone trying to yank the mouthpiece off a tuba and tumbling backwards ^^;;;
