Introduction

Story
Chii and I wandered through the sands of Egypt., on one of our many excavations, until we came across a large statue of what appeared to be Isis although it was quite worn and falling apart. Walking up to it we noticed that the arm appeared to have hinges. So of course being curious as we are, we tried to move the arm down. Try as we might it just wouldn't budge, so in a last ditch effort we both jumped up and dangled from it , putting all our weight into it until it finally began to slowly move downward. We hopped to the ground just as it began to disappear from under our feet, and we found ourselves falling through an extremely long chute. We landed with such an impact we were rendered unconscious for quite a few hours. When we came to, we found that we had fallen into some sort of tomb. Getting up to explore our surroundings we noticed large statues, jars, paintings, hieroglyphs and more. Last but not least an immensely decorated sarcophagus that was placed on a large concrete slab. There were also a strange gold table in the corner of the room. We walked toward the table only to find a scroll. I picked up the scroll and began to read the strange writing on it. When I had finished we heard a strange rumbling, and a small door under opened from beneath the concrete slab out of which came two strange creatures like none other we'd seen before, and behind them a small wooden box. They didn't seem mean or vicious so taking our chances we walked up to them and let them check us out. Finding them friendly, we decided to take them and the box with us. Once we arrived where we were staying we opened the box to find two talismans and another scroll. This scroll was far harder to decipher so we spent at least two weeks with our noses buried in books trying to understand all we could. Once we had decided that we knew enough to continue we performed a ritual that was described on the scroll and the talismans began to glow. Right before our eyes, appeared two babies that were similar to the creatures from the tomb. Curious if there might be more in this tomb we ventured back and crawled through the space under the sarcophagus. On the other side we found a whole room filled with these talismans, scrolls, and hieroglyphs on the walls describing their history and how to make more of them though it is very difficult. Apparently they had been created by an Egyptian priest as summons to defend the pharaohs. Assuming we would now have to find them all new homes we decided to open an adoption center for such a purpose.^^
