I've had some people give me weird looks before and think that... xD They were like "Oh... okay... ?"
But yup~ I am hoping to go to Japan with a teaching program after I graduate, or perhaps get into translating novels and the like. biggrin

The teaching program would be really nice. I like when people have put thought into their major(s) and aren't taking something 'just because'

Indeed~ The only problem I forsee is dealing with kids. xD
Haha~ I feel a little bad because I just started my major because I had a passing interest... and I just became driven to try my best at it, because its really... challenging. By all logic, I should focus on Sociology, because its my strength... but that's so boring! biggrin

Its like... Studying what makes people and society tick. It gets confused with Psychology sometimes, because of that, but its more looking at social trends rather than personal trends.
For example, right now I'm reading a chapter on economic development and why some countries are behind others in the same region. Stuff like that.

/realized that sounds reeeeaaaalllly boring.
