Far from the reaches of the other regions lies Ragna, a sprawling continent filled to the brim with exotic
and fascinating new places to explore. The region ranges from desert empires to lush green forest-cities
teeming with life. At the heart of Ragna is Noche, though Dassais and Sundara rival this technology based
city with ease, while the Iron Sea contains Vellaria and areas such as the elusive Trickster's Cove and other
strange and mysterious cities and towns. Many areas lie in Ragna, unexplored, waiting to be found.
Just as many are dangerous however, and should only be entered with a lot of care, if one wishes to get
out alive and well.
♚ N O C H E _ A N D _ N I G H T C O R Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx▾
One of the most powerful cities in the region, Noche is something of a futuristic city thrown into the present.
Dense and packed with many places, Noche holds some of the most influential companies in Ragna's region,
including Valencia and other such medical companies on the cutting edge. Noche is constantly creating
new things, stretching fingers out towards the future. Here, fashion trends are ever changing, and there is
something for everyone, even the most difficult and hard to please.
At the center of Noche is Nightcore, the heart and soul of the futuristic city, and the place where everyone goes.
Here, the most powerful corporations are, as well as the fanciest restaurants and nightclubs, where the most rich
live their lives in luxury and pleasure. However, this is not all of Noche. Not at all. The Narrows and the Inferno
are places filled with smog and with crime. Noche boasts the biggest underground crime scene in Ragna, with
the mafia well rooted within the city's history, as well as street gangs and other such lesser evils as well. Noche
might look like a place of luxury from afar, but it is also the place where the most danger might be.

Travel from Ragna to other regions, while expensive, is very possible! Many from Kanto and other regions
have come to Ragna looking for new starts and new experiences. However, they will find a few things different
from their lives back home. Here, the people will refer to big portions of the region as Wildlands. When asked
on just what that is exactly, they will probably give you a look of "are you kidding me?" The Wildlands of
Ragna are large territories unexplored by humans, and presided over mainly by tribes and gijinkas that
are classified as feral to normal civilization. These places border on many large cities, and it is easy for one
person to slip off of a well established route and end up in the world beyond civilization where the wild has
taken control. Of course, there is human civilization within the Wildlands, however strange and unearthly
some of them may be. Faron is actually located deep within a forest that could easily be classified
by the outside world as Wildlands. It is known by all that only experienced people should travel these parts.
Otherwise, there is no telling what could happen out there.

C : // PROGRAM FILES/POKEBOYS/EGG.PNGxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
All gijinka tend to originate from an egg. They aren't just plain ol' white chicken eggs though.
Gijinka eggs take on their species' traits, colors, and texture; most of them aren't even fully round!
Take this brand new charmander egg, for example! You had better be careful, because that flame is
very real and very, very hot! At this stage eggs can, at best, rock around. Owners may sometimes
hear a tapping noise from within, but little else.

After some time, eggs will hatch and new infants will grow quite quickly. Logically, it'll be some time before
you'll get the chance to take a picture of them since they're quite a handful. By that time, they'll at least have
a small vocabulary of words, grasp the concept of the world in a childish manner, and generally be kids. Take
good care of them, or else they'll tumble into any and all trouble they can get their hands on!

▸ DIVERSITY BETWEEN DIFFERENT SUBJECTS. SOME ARE YOUNGER ( INFANT ) AND SOME OLDER ( TODDLER )

C : // PROGRAM FILES/POKEBOYS/CHILD.PNGxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Most children are much more troublesome than their predecessors. Not only do they go wandering about more
recklessly, they do it with a sense of purpose, too! You can no longer quite shelter them and soon you'll be
taking up demands to allow them to explore. Gijinka at this age tend to enjoy testing out their abilities and
the world around them, but they haven't reached full adulthood yet in order to get their full potential.

▸ GAINING INDEPENDENCY. INTERESTED IN THINGS APART FROM FOOD, SLEEP, AND CRYING.

C : // PROGRAM FILES/POKEBOYS/ADULT.PNGxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Fully grown, adults can do pretty much anything they want within reason. They've gotten to the best they
can get at this point, not to mention training is pretty much easy now. Adults can now participate in breedings
when they find their significant other, drink essences, and battle without being restricted.

- 0 1 . GENERAL
C : // PROGRAM FILES / POKEBOYS / RULES / GENERAL.PDF
Our first rule of conduct is always to have fun! However, all fun times should pertain to Gaia ToS
and Pokeboys' rules. We would also appreciate that all drama be kept down to a minimum, or take
it up to PMs entirely. All shop-goers should be polite and treat each other with common courtesy.
(Also consider that not all people enjoy the same content that you do either and that you are in a
Pokemon shop!) Don't advertise another shop unless you have permission from me. Keep any and all
advertisements in your signatures, and don't prod others to refer you! It should also be obvious that
you should not steal art from us; they belong to their respective artists and the owner on a cert.
0 2 . OWNERSHIP
C : // PROGRAM FILES / POKEBOYS / RULES / OWNERSHIP.PDF
With ownership comes a fair amount of responsibility. Gijinka will only grow when the user is active
so growing requires you to post, roleplay, and just being visibly around. Any activity also requires you
to post in the activity recorder thread, so our activity manager knows to check whether you're active.
Before doing anything, however, a gijinka must have a name. Creativity is preferred in names, although
we also want you to use proper names. Names should be realistic, not be puns nor a ridiculous titles.
Although in olden days we allowed rehoming, from now on we will only rehome if the gijinka is either
a child (though in some cases we won't) or an toddler. Owners who do not wish to keep their PB can
retire them via a private message to the mule.
0 3 . EVENTS
C : // PROGRAM FILES / POKEBOYS / RULES / EVENTS.PDF
Every event has to have rules! And so, to make things easier for staff, the event rules will be spotlighted
here for every day reference! First of all, always read the introductions and make sure you don't miss
anything! It's entirely possible to find hidden text between or around the lines during events. Second,
don't try to cheat your way through assigned tasks; be fair to yourself and your competitors! Proxies
are allowed on a case by case basis; if it's not stated, ask! Staff members cannot judge or critique
your entry while an event is in session for fairness's sake. In addition, we don't allow people to pester
or guilt-trip; if we catch wind of it, we will investigate! Please be courteous to winners; being a poor sport
reflects badly on yourself. One of the most important rules of the shop pertains to badges! Badge Rules
will always count during events unless otherwise stated. Novices can get up to two pokeboys before badge
rules begin to apply; meaning, to get your third gijinka, you'll need to get up to the Downburst Badge.
The only exception to Badge Rules is Legendaries, which you can get any time but only have one of.
0 4 . ROLEPLAY
C : // PROGRAM FILES / POKEBOYS / RULES / ROLEPLAY.PDF
We are a non-roleplay required shop, but roleplaying is always encouraged to develop your characters.
Of course, there are various rules that should come as a given between roleplayers. You are never to
god-mode unless permission is given from the other character. We prohibit excessive violence and sexual
conduct between characters in public (not to mention, it's against Gaia ToS). Please use the Daisy Code
as a standard you should consider following. As we will mention several times throughout the PB, we
allow for people to create quest characters for the shop. We even allow roleplaying them within the guild in
order to fully flesh them out! However, although we give you quite a lot of leeway to play them, keep in
mind that that doesn't mean to create full storylines for them when they're not official! We may ask you
to tone down a fraction if we keep seeing your quest gijinka excessively!

- ACCESSING INBOX . . .
C : // PROGRAM FILES / POKEBOYS / INBOX / QUESTIONS.PDF
- ▾ ▿ RE : HOW DO I GET A POKEBOY IN THE FIRST PLACE? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Gijinka are available through a number of ways. Normally, events that contain games, auctions, raffles,
character development, and roleplaying pop up throughout the year for everyone to participate in. We don't
go by any set schedule, and planning usually takes place less than a week before we launch! Prices will
vary depending on the event, but games are free. Flatsale prices will always be approximately 50,000 gold.
▾ ▿ RE : OKAY I GOT ONE, NOW HOW DO I GET IT TO GROW? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Gijinka that have not reached their full growth yet will require activity to grow beyond their current stage.
Activities include chatting in the main shop thread, roleplaying, or dropping off fanart! All activity will require
a post to be recorded in the Activity Recorder. Further details on how to be active can be found here in this
link. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our activity manager!
▾ ▿ RE : CAN I INFLUENCE HIS/HER APPEARANCE? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Certainly! Here at PB, we offer a fairly unique way of allowing you to influence your gijinka's design. Though
we can't allow you to change specific articles of clothing, you may add accessories, change hair styles and
colors, and get tattoos right in the Department Store! If you have any personalties you want to establish, you
may give your gijinka foods from the Cafe for free. Both of these shops can be found in the Downtown area
along with much more. Lastly, certain items can be obtained or bought to change your gijinka's appearance,
some with more leeway and others with some restrictions.
▾ ▿ RE : WHY DO SOME GIJINKA HAVE TRAINERS AND SOME DONT? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
In a human dominant world, many gijinka find it easier to have humans become their trainers in order to better
understand and survive in civilization. The relationship is similar to the one between a ward and their guardian,
though many find their relations increasing to friendship. Many gijinka can be trainerless, wild, and also function
appropriately in a normal civilization. At the same time, there are those that live in the true wilderness, without
human order and only under the laws of survival of the fittest.
▾ ▿ RE : HOW MANY CAN I GET? IS THERE A LIMIT? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Yes! The number of a gijinka set to a user (OOC) is dependent on how many badges they own. A user with no
badges can own up to two gijinka, but if they want to gain their third pokeboy, they will have to start training
and defeating gym leaders for their badges. The maximum gijinka one user can obtain with all available badges
is ten, however a gijinka may be retired if the user desires new gijinka.
▾ ▿ RE : WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RETIRE A GIJINKA ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Retiring a gijinka means that it will be entirely removed from the official list in pokeboys. You may no longer
play him or her when they're retired, and they will have either died ICly or vanished into the abyss. Do this
only if you truly want to, as the decision can't be retracted once the gijinka has been retired.
▾ ▿ RE : HOW COME THIS PKMN IS RARER THAN IT SHOULD BE? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
As you may or may not have noticed, we have a rarity list that states how common or uncommon a species is.
Certain species become rarer as their populus gets registered in the registry. The more registered gijinka there
are in the area, the fewer unregistered gijinka of that species are available. The higher the rarity, the harder
they are to obtain.
▾ ▿ RE : WHAT ARE QUEST GIJINKA AND CAN I RP THEM?? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Quest gijinka are basically concepts or ideas that a user makes. We also know that when you do make them,
you want to play them as fast as you can. You are allowed to roleplay them ONLY in the guild roleplay forum or
privately between yourselves in order to tentatively develop your ideas. We prefer REAL and REGISTERED gijinka
to be the spotlight, so you may be asked to tone down a notch if we notice a quest gijinka being too 'spotlighted'.
▾ ▿ RE : WHAT ARE THE QUEST FAIRIES EXACTLY? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Have you ever seen a quest fairy? No? Better start keeping an eye out! Quest fairies appear from time to time in
order to turn your quests into life! Our most notable Quest Fairy to date is Nora the Butterfree! She's pretty tiny
so she's pretty hard to spot... but! As a quest fairy, she sprinkles some magic dust, and poof! A gijinka is made
into reality! Remember though, only developed gijinka are eligible, and users must be active to qualify.
▾ ▿ RE : CAN I BRIBE STAFF FOR A POKEBOY? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
Yes, but only if the staff publically announces that their bribes are open. Individual staff may select a month to open
bribes (gold or RL money) to the public once a year, or the shop will open bribes up during an event! Staff are
not allowed to take bribes 'under the table', so PMing staff to redraw or create a gijinka is a big 'no' regardless
of how much is offered!
▾ ▿ RE : CAN I GIFT, PROXY, OR REHOME MY GIJINKA? ▾ ▿
▸ BODY :
It depends. For gifting and proxying during games and events, it would depend on the situation. If it is not stated
clearly in the rules, please ask staff before attempting! Gifting or rehoming and old gijinka outside of an event is
no longer allowed in Pokeboys. In most situations now, if you give your gijinka up to the shop, they will be retired
and no longer be used. Young gijinka (toddlers and perhaps children) may be placed up for adoption in another
game.
