Well, Cyndaquil won the first poll to decide the subject of the first flatsale. And since the first three flatsales are all of starters, I didn't want any repeats within generational sets of starters. So, when Cyndaquil was chosen, Totodile and Chikorita were disqualified as a result.

But they'll show up sometime in the future!

If you want to hurry that future up, you could try at the advertising contest that just started this evening. Someone's going to pick a new starter for me to draw! I'm sure it's one everyone will love!

Well...Pokemon Haven, I believe just do the regular coloring of every pokemon. But I donno. XDD There's some others that do odd colors like red/black or pink and green pokemon that has nothing to do with the pokemon colors. XDD

Probably something more subtle, like Extrasensory, then. I like the little touches and markings...it's easier to breedings that way too, probably.

Extrasensory is pokemon based off real-life animals, as I'm sure you know, and has a cel-shaded style to it, whereas say pokemon haven has pets that are in the same style as those in the game, with the ocassional colour variation.

Then there are a couple of Eevee shops that focus on different variations of them, some more close to the games' style, others more realistic.

Yours style is one of my favourites though - it has a lovely soft-shaded look to it whilst still following their game look, from what I've seen of your art so far ^^.
