How would we run those, though?
I mean...I'm not going to be able to police a system like that...and it's pretty tedious, and there's not room for levels or the moves you know and *flail, terrified!*

A battle system IS difficult to come up with.
But if everyone starts throwing ideas around I'm positive we can create a pretty epic one.

@ Tomo -- *laughs* I'm not sure...but considering I'm all over the B/C and have been for years, it could have been something like that? More recently though, I do hang in Extrasensory when I have time. ^^ Grad school's been eating me alive recently though.

@ Joy -- Heh..don't ask me...I'm in the process of trying to rework the battle system in a Pokemon shop I took over and I'm flailing as well. sweatdrop

I'm working on a battle system for a shop concept I have... so I might be able to help some. We could just go with the honor system for awhile... and hope that no one abuses it.

Honor system seem to work for most places for casual fighting. I don't think we should worry about a fighting system till you get pokegyms set up.

By 'honor system', do you mean that people simply RP out battles and decide amongst themselves who the winner is?

It takes a lot of work on the players part, and maturity, but can be easy on the shop staff. 3nodding
