Introduction to the World of Platylls

Welcome to Platyll Paradise! We house the most unique animal you will find. These two limbed creatures have survived generations of pain and suffering before being able to walk and swim with only two limbs. They are a peaceful species which hunt fish in the ocean near their home. They finally have evolved into two genders versus their earlier stage where they were unisex. These small creatures grow to large sizes. The males can reach to a size of three feet long and a foot wide and tall. The females are smaller. They can be up to two feet long and half a foot wide and tall. Each Platyll has the ability to learn from eachother. I had the liberty to raise one myself and found they can learn to speak English. They are perfect little creatures. Please look for more details on these marvelous creatures.

Announcements

7/2/08~ Long time since I did this. I will have a fourth of july flat sale platyll that will be sold 7/3 - 7/6. They will be 5k each and will grow slowly over the month.
12/31/07~ Finally got photoshop back up so orders are back on...next flatsale will be on 1/15/08
12/21/07~ Due to unforeseen problems, I will be unable to make Platylls for a few days. /My computer sees to be having trouble so I am sorry for the inconvenience. Please bare with me.
12/19/07~ Due to having to redo my comp, I cant finish any orders till either the 20th or the 21st...but I PROMISE your platyll will be full grown by christmas

Staff

Main Artist~ Kamiya Kaoru Dono is our main artist. She draws ALL of the Platylls and colors them herself. She thought of this in hopes of making a world better with her Platylls.

Co-Owner~ Teh Prurient Pirate Queen

Background designer~ JEC (not a Gaian member) created the beautiful background images you see. He thinks his talents are mediocre but we all know better. He is a good friend and loving father. I thank him for allowing me to use his images as my backgrounds.

FAQS

Whats the difference between a Platypus and a Platyll?
..... A Platypus has four otter-like feet, a beaver tail, a duck bill, and has fur. A Platyll has two feet, no tail, a duck bill, and has feathers. Unlike the Platypus, a Platyll can be red, blue, gree, or yellow.

Can you breed the Platylls?
..... Yes but they must reach adulthood to do so. Once they are mature enough, find them a mate and you will be able to breed.

When can I adopt one?
..... When you see a slot open, fill out the form and then I will personally catch that one for you. Once caught then you will adopt it.

Stages

There are four stages in a Platylls Life.

The first stage is the egg form.
The second stage is the Hatchling. They are usually too scared to leave their eggs so they wait in the egg for a few days before leaving. The egg hatches about one day after its laid.
The third stage is the most interesting. You find out what they look like and how they act. They come out of the shell about two days after the eggs hatched.
The last stage, the adult stage, is when they are mature. They become an adult three days after they leave the egg..

Breeding & Caring

These pets are breedable and they do grow. However you can not breed your pets until they are fully grown. Female Platylls lay 2 eggs so you can choose which egg you want. But you have to ask the other owner which one they want. If you own both, I will give you one egg only because I cant keep making two of everything.

Breeding your Platyll will cost 1k from both parent.

Feather Changers


Add spots to your platyll. These spots come in a darker or lighter version of your Platylls natural colors.
Price: 150g


Add stars to your dull platyll. Sure they come in your basic white, black if you have a light platyll, but they shine brightly.
Price: 200g

Color Effects


May your platyll look more like the water with the ripple fur texture.
Price: 200g


Twirl the feathers and make interesting designs.
Price: 200g

Color Enhancements


Makes your platyll three shades darker.
Price: 100g


Makes your platyll three shades lighter
Price: 100g

Stage Changers


Go back one stage in your platylls life,
Price: 300g


Jump forward one stage in your platylls life.
Price: 300g
