SHOP RULES:

Do not steal anything from this shop. This includes graphics, roleplay, the idea, anything. If you have a similar idea please PM the mule, it's common courtesy.
Do not ever ever ask for a free Exotic or bother anyone about it in anything that has to do with the shop. If you would like to know how to attain one, please just read the front page. PM all questions to the mule.
We are not looking to create a pretentious atmosphere. If someone new comes in and you don't know them, don't ignore them. Greet them, no one is better than anyone else here.
Just because you have the gold doesn't mean you can bribe us for one. The only chance of accepting a bribe is if you are a great writer.
Do not harass faculty on their accounts. Please PM the mule.
Do not harass current owners, whether through PM or posts.
Whining is not allowed! If you can't afford the pets, save up, or start a charity/quest.
No flaming or creating drama.
No excessive cussing.
Please send all trades to the mule unless instructed otherwise by an owner of Exotic.
You do need to direct-link until your Exotic is fully grown. After that you will be asked to host it to your own server.
Any of these creatures will be sold either through flatsales, auctions, contests, or on the rare off chance, a bribe.
You cannot co-own. You may co-bid or co-pay, but you can't co-own. There are no if's and's or but's about it. You must understand, it simply becomes too complicated.
You cannot sell your Exotic. If you have to leave we will take custody of it. You may not choose who gets custody.
You may have maximum TWO Exotics within your active role-playing custody. Non-negotiable.
Do not take this "pet" lightly. This isn't about something you can just have for the sake of it, have fun with it but be serious about the community. Be active, chat, and have all-around fun.
Do not ever insult or put someone down, especially not someone who's part of the Exotic community. That absolutely evaporates any chance of you getting one.
Do not challenge the authority of the owners of this shop. Period.
We reserve the right to change and/or add to this or future lists.
ROLEPLAY RULES:
- This is a roleplay-required "pet". We don't have set amounts for each stage, you just need to be active and be a good roleplayer. We will be keeping tabs on each of you.
At one point or another you will need to roleplay or interact with everyone in the shop. If you have personal differences, set them aside, otherwise there's a chance your Exotic will not grow. There is no room here for drama.
Please adhere to the Roleplaying Guidelines (describes setting, what is and isn't allowed, so on and so forth).
If you are going to have a character to roleplay with instead of your regular Gaian person, you absolutely need to let us know. This will help us keep tabs on what is going on and it will greatly reduce the chances of confusion between the staff or regular roleplaying owners.
There is no killing of anything or anyone, as well as no "explicit" roleplaying. If you want to leave your Exotic to another person, you can create a storyline. This is the only instance where you might kill off your own character.
No excessive cussing.
No typing in 1337-speak or using excessive abbreviations ('u' versus 'you'), so on and so forth.
Roleplay must be proof-read and organized.
No one or two sentence RP's. At least one or two paragraphs please.
Roleplay using asterisks (the * symbol), does not count. You're writing a story.
If there is roleplay going on, please chat between the "((_))" parentheses brackets.
Only RP in-guild.
Do not change the storyline in the middle of an active roleplay.
Absolutely no making up things, for example, super-powers, magic. We may have something like that later on.
Proper roleplaying does not include the following symbols: ~ ` @ # $ % ^ & * _ + = | / [ ] { } < >
Do not constantly use 'cute' or 'chatspeak' RP, do some real roleplaying. You're not a cartoon character.
Paragraphs are at least 3-5 sentences long.
Fragments are not sentences.
You need to spell out numbers and most abbreviations.
GUILD RULES:
- The guild is for roleplaying and journals only. Please keep chatting to the main thread. There is no bumping allowed in-guild.
It's completely free to join the guild, and you can whether or not you own an Exotic or not. However, if you do not own one you are not allowed to post in any of the roleplaying threads.
Pay attention to what is going on in-guild as well. It does tie in with what happens here in-thread.
Please try to keep your journal organized and user-friendly.
You need to make one roleplay entry a month for your faerie to grow at all, if you post more than once a month it will grow faster.
You must document all your roleplays in the journal, please use it to organize everything about yourself and your Exotic. It really does count.
