Valeria Valeria carefully sets the lion cub down and watches her for a moment, before using her body to fully shield the basket from the weather. She waits, wondering what else is in the cave ahead and what the shadowy figure is. The baby soquili peers out of the basket while droplets of rain fall through the weavings above. It looks up and sniffs to get a better idea of its surrounding. The baby's eyes go big all frightened as another roar echos from the cave. The cub feels her soft padded paws touch the wet grass and she sinks down into the moist earth. As another roar escapes the cave, she perks up her ears and adjusts to the familiar sound. With a quick pounce, she wallops towards the cave with her tail bouncing behind her. The darkness encloses her and she is no longer visible. |

Valeria looks down at the Soquili in her arms in it's basket and turns to walk away from the cave, looking for some other means of shelter from the rain. She didn't want to endanger her young charge in the least. Valeria's eyes squinted as she tried to peer through the rain, one hand raising up to lift her bangs out of her face as she started to hum to the basket again.
