The easiest way to see if there is a stable near you that does lessons, and take the once a week/bi-weekly/once a month, and take some lessons. I just kinda got lucky that my dad bought her for me for Christmas ... but sadly Dolly wasn't trained to well (she was trained to a little more than green broke then they tried to use her for a broodmare >< wink and I'm haveing to retrain her from square 1 X__X
