Hmmm... that's a pickle. Windows right?

Windows likes not finding things. There's been lots of issues with USB printers.

Check the company website for the newest drivers and install them. Just google the make, like HP is hp.com(I think.)

you are the best in the world. went to the website, seems there's a problem with xp and this scaner, that needed a patch to be fixed. installed it. it works ;_; I owe you my life

Pfft! I'm IT... or was for co-op. It's my job to figure out what's wrong and solve it.

Glad to know that was it though. I figured that should solve it, but worried it wouldn't. I didn't have anymore ideas without me seeing the scanner.

It's my fault. ;_;. I asked her to do the lineart for me, and she got interested in the idea and offered to co-own the shop... and so of course I jumped on the offer (and her) and dragged her into it. :3;; It was very sudden, though.
