Our tale begins in the T'sana Woods, a rugged little patch of existence tucked into the mountainside far away from the likes of developers. The Skye People had lived on these lands for many, many generations, and their history was passed in stories told around the evening campfires. It was in these times that the children gathered around the elders, eager to hear another tale of their past.

Stories about the animals, the people, and about the lands far beyond their travels were common topics. Tonight was one tale that had never been told before. The tribe's Chieftain, Bodaway (the fire maker) came slowly out of his lean-to and scanned over the young ones. He pulled his furs to one side and sat on a log, the fire glinting over his raggedy face.

He began slowly in the ancient tongue. "It is said that the Star People have sent us the gift of life. We know that the Star People and the Skye People were once united in the great beyond. I feel that in these times they have sent us a blessing." He spoke deeply, motioning over them all. "Tonight, I retell the tale of your brothers Ahote (restless one) and Hok'ee (abandoned) as they have brought to us this blessing from the Star People."

A hush came over them all. The Bodaway continued. "Hok'ee and Ahote like all of the children of the Skye People know better than to loose the arrows of their fathers when it is hunting season and the catch is few. But they, knowing this, went out after dark and traveled deep into the T'sana Woods to play. This was two winters past." He cleared his throat. "Ahote called to Hok'ee 'I bet I can shoot higher than you!' And Hok'ee, never able to give up a challenge, accepted his brother's taunt."

"Ahote aimed his bow into the clouds and let it go. The arrow sailed up and up into the trees until it disappeared. It did not come back. Hok'ee was afraid to loose either the arrow or the challenge. So he reached into his pack and pulled out a long rope. He tied the rope to his arrow and aimed it into the sky." Bodaway paused for emphasis, watching the reactions of the children as he spoke.

"Hok'ee released his arrow and watched the feathers fly up into the sky, it too disappearing from sight soon enough. It entered the galaxy far above, flying much higher that Ahote's arrow. It struck the blanket of stars with a loud plunk and stopped moving."

The crowd murmured and some of the children were seen nudging one another in excitement. "Now Ahote, not wanting to be punished by his father for loosing the arrow, tugged on the rope of his brother. It did not move. Hok'ee gripped the rope and together they pulled. The groaned and grunted and dug their heels into the ground. Suddenly, the arrow gave way, ripping open the galaxy of the Star People. Hok'ee watched his arrow tumble safely back to Mother Earth. Feeling the wound, the Heavens cried many tears. The rain was a strange one. Hok'ee has said that the Heavens cried tears of color." His voice rose to a climax.

"These tears came fast and heavy, landing in great colorful puddles on the forest floor. Ahote was afraid of these puddles and grabbed his brother by the arm, pulling him home before anyone found out. He was sure that the adults would be angry with him for causing conflict with the Star People. The seasons passed, and the boys grew. They played in the forests often, practicing their skills on small woodland creatures." He motioned for his squaw to pass him the water skin and he took a long drink. The children coaxed him eagerly to continue.

"Hok'ee ran ahead one spring morning, determined to bring back a fine young hare. He went deeper into the forest then he had traveled before. Soon he was confused as to where he was. Things were different in this part of the forest. He did not know why. On his travels, he came across a strange nest. Bending closer for a better look, he gasped. Inside, were three small animals like none other that he had seen before. The looked as if they were a litter of wolves, yet they were more colorful than the brightest birds he had ever seen."

"He tucked one into his tunic and ran clumsily back home, somehow his feet knowing the correct path, to show Awan (somebody) the Seer his finding. Awan then brought the creature to me. I know not what these creatures are, yet they appear peaceful and protective of our people." He released the furs from around his body and out popped a bright teal bundle. It yipped and ran up to the children one by one. They squealed with delight. "I have chosen to call them Moonlits, a blessing from the Star People."

"So my people, please do not forget the gifts we are sometimes given. These lands are blessed and so are we. Remember that always. Aho (amen)" The Chieftain got to his feet slowly, then took a long look up into the stars, pondering the true origins of these creatures. Perhaps one day, all would be known.

Infant: Your pup is a playful ball of fluff. It is still vulnerable and needs lots of attention. You will not get much sleep with them at this stage. they may howl late into the night and desire everything that you dont have, just to send you out to the store for it at 2AM, only to return to find them sound asleep in their pen. This is the time to bond with your pet because a close bond is one that is not soon forgotten. Also, remember to let your pup meet others of its kind, male and female alike. One day soon, it might meet its life companion. 0.0 Dear god, they start THAT early? Hehehe....keep those eyes peeled because they grow up fast.

Teen: Your pup has outgrown its awkward stage. He/She is rebellious and often forgets to listen to what you have to say. It sneaks out late at night to see its special companion, tears up your furniture, and is full of sass. Rememer not to tell it what its feeling! You may be rewarded for this action with slamming doors, loud barking, and the cold shoulder for many days. What happened to the little innocent infant you once nursed all night long when it howled for you? Watch out for severe attitude changes and keep all valuables in sight! Remember to let your little one know that you are always there to listen, because this is the time of many changes. They may not know how to cope, and fear looking to you for advice. An open door is the best notion.

Adult: Oh my! They sure do grow up fast after all. Your little one has made it through the path of life unscathed. Along the way it has created an outstanding bond with you and has made many friends. Its companion is now a more dominate part of its life and perhaps you may hear the pitter patter of little wolf feet somewhere in the near future. Even though your little one is not so little anymore, dont fear that you will be left behind! They will always be there for you as you have been there for them. Great job, parent!

Angelic Anthro: Congratulations, your wolf has achieved the ultimate in goodness and light! Not just a puppy anymore, these soft-winged beings are more capable of doing practically anything that tickles their fancy. Hands and feet have replaced paws, and some even prefer to wear clothes! While genereally independant, they still require guidance from you as their closest friend. The bond of love and friendship between you and your angellic anthro is at its strongest!

Demonic Anthro: Oh dear, these bad boys and girls have found their place in life, and it isn't always the prettiest sight! They might range from outright evil to merely tough as nails, but their chosen path in life is far from easy. Strong and often iron-willed, these big wolves are a force to be reckoned with. Hands and feet assist them in whatever they determine to do. But please keep in mind, these big baddies still need your love!

Stone- You may perhaps happen along one of these along the rivers edge while wandering or deep within the forest. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, you turn it over and over again, admiring the beauty of its colors. Somehow, you know you must keep it safe!

Chicklets- The stone suddenly starts to quiver one day and splits open! Out tumbles a little tuff of chirping fluff ball. A birdie!! Not just any birdie, a very unusual two-headed birdie. It nestles into your lap and you know that your new addition to the family will fit right in. With a snuggle, it chirps again.

Adult- Well, your strange little babies have grown into adults. Look at that wingspan!!! They no longer want to sit in your lap, but would rather rest in the branches of the trees outside of the old house. With a frown, you try to remind yourself that they still love you and will always be there. Of course they will, because to them, you will always be 'mommy'

Anthros: Walking, talking wonderments, your little chicks have come a long way! They have matured beyond your wildest dreams, and have developed a sense of independance. Still capable of the amazing feats of flight, these duos are adept at doing pretty much anything you can do. But never fear, their hearts always belong with you. Whether human or wolf, they still feel strongly attatched to their home 'flock'.

1. Wait until I post "GO" in big Green Letters before posting order
2. Only bid gold that you have at the time...prices are FINAL! No payment plans allowed after a couple of mishaps with them...sorry.
3. Items may be used instead of gold, but each colorist is allowed to say what they will and willnot take. I take the LOWEST TekTek value
4. No fighting, griping, or changing posts

6. All trades must be sent and confirmed immediately. Any trades that are not completed within 48 hours of the order post will canceled and the Moonlit Returned to the sale.
7. All colorists must turn in Infant and Child stages for their flatsales before the sale occurs. Adults are expected within 1 week of the initial sale of that pet after gender has been determined.
8. You may purchase 1 Moonlit in the first 4 hours of the flat sale to allow others a chance at getting one. After that time, you may purchase as many as you like.

Q: How can I get a pup?
A: You can get one through a flatsale, auction, raffle, breeding, or order one custom!

Q: I see theres a flatsale, but how much do they cost?
A: A flatsale Infant costs 8k because it has three or more stages of growth. A flatale Adult costs 4k.

Q: How much does a custom cost?
A: 5k-200k Depending on complexity

Q: How do I know what gender my Moonlit wolf is?
A: Unless you recieved one from a breeding, you can determine the gender of infant and children. Breedings are predetermined and will be noted on a flatsale what gender they are. All other lines are as noted in the breeds post.

Q: Can Moonlits Talk?
A: If you wish them to use telepathy make it clear to us. Can you just hear them or can we, the rest of the group hear them too? Otherwise it is assumed they are dog-like in motions and nature.

Q: Are there other critters besides the Moonlit wolves?
A: Yes. So far Duo-Bird, a two-headed species of wild bird has been discovered. They chip, squawk and chitter. It is unknown at this time if they can talk via telepathy like their counterparts the wolves. And recently it is rumoured that there are Sabre-Toothed Squirrels lurking in the shadows.... not much is known about them yet.

Special Prices Will Apply For The Holidays Only. This special is for SS's only, so only purchase one with the intent to give it to someone else (NO MULES!)

Please Fill Out The Form Below and post it in the MAIN SHOP THREAD. Trades go to Wolife Duke with SS and the PAGE NUMBER in the title. Any orders without this info in the title WILL BE CANCELLED. Colorist rules:
1.) Colorists must gain approval by Wolfie via PM for bribe slots 24 hours in advance - No posting slots/teasing in the main thread until approved
2.) Only two bribe slots allowed per colorist at one time
3.) Wolfie must approve all custom and bribe orders before a colorist may begin
4.) Colorists reserve the right to refuse a bribe slot ORDER
5.) Bribe trades are the ONLY trades that go directly to the colorist

If Smitties wasn't exciting enough for your first venture into town with your Moonlit, you notice a garden. A white arch hangs above the entrance covered in flowering vines. Your Moonlit yips happily at your side and you enter, humming birds and squirrels freely moving about you.

With a gasp in complete awe, you realize this place isn't just a garden. A closer look lets you see the wirey old woman in a rocking chair, baskets strewn about her feet. Its a market place shop.

"Hello!" You call out to her. She nods and motions at the baskets.

"Welcome my child." She turns her attention to your Moonlit and pats their head thoughtfully. "This is Lady Charms"
