The number of ponies that will be required by artists is still to be determined. Full time will obviously have a higher number, while part time will probably only be half that much. However, from both Full and Part time, 'Salary Ponies' will be required to help pay store and rp managers. ASIDE FROM THOSE PONIES, ANY EARNINGS WILL 100% GO TO THE ARTIST/COLORIST.

Artists and Colorists will be given lesser NPC Ponies, teachers aids or townsfolk, unless other 'responsibilities' are requested...



Co-positioning is available. You may be an artist and a manager, Artist/Colorist-manager, or Rp-Shop Manager, etc. Colorist/Artist-??? will get the gold from their earnings, on top of the managers salary as long as their performance in both is up to par.

**A LOT of art for this shop is intended to be unique linearts, or at least heavily edited linearts off of a simple base***.
Artists should be able to mimic the My little Pony: Friendship Is Magic art style. Please send at least 3 examples of this style in your PM Inquiry.

As I'm sure you're wondering, what exactly is this shop going to be?
Quite simply, the MLP Academy, Located in the land of Equestria, a small village has been converted into a 'live in' school for talented young fillies and gentlecolts.

The headmistress of the school, Destiny, is a blank flank who still has yet to find her true talent, and in that mission, has set up this school to help those still searching find theirs, and those that already have, hone their skills and rise to greatness.

This school will be divided into houses and host to a number of different classes to cater to the various callings of the ponies that will come to call the academy home.

While the dress code of the academy is rather lax, it is highly encouraged that your house colors be worn in some way while you are on the campus. A simple little thing, or something bursting with school spirit, it is your choice what your pony may wear. Each house has a fine selection of solid, stripped, spotted, or plaid to choose from, as shown below.

Ties, bows, ribbons, saddlebags, stockings, and many other options are available. The first item (or set, per stockings, earrings, or other 'double' items) is free, while others may be purchased from the school store for a small fee.

Once you win your pony, if they have not already been given an item, it is up to you to inform the staff of what you want your pony to wear.

Breeding won't actually be counted as 'BREEDING' per say. Since most of these ponies are still students, it will more so be considered as ~crack love children~ instead.

This also means, any two ponies can spawn off new ponies, m/f, m/m, f/f, anything goes.

Each pairing will bring about two to five new ponies, each owner having the option to claim one if they want to. If there is only one owner, the owner may still only claim one.

The rest will put up for 'adoption' usually through some form of game, raffle, or other event.

Are these ponies RP mandatory?
No, but if you do not RP your pony, it will be considered a one stage pet and nothing more than a pretty piece of artwork.

I didn't RP at first, but I want to now... Is this ok?
Yes, as long as you have a pony, you may jump into the plot at any time.

I heard there's a metaplot... Is this true?
Yes, though the MAIN of it is still in the works, expect some baddies to be popping up.


------------Breeding

Who is open?
The Main Shop thread should be up to date on openings for breedings. Please check there first.

How much does breeding cost?
10K(for linebase ponies) or 15K(for unique lineart ponies) Per owner (UNLESS otherwise stated by the specific breeder). Each owner will get to choose one pony from the breeding to keep.

How many new ponies will there be?
At least 2, but rarely more than 5. WHEN POSTING FOR BREEDING, PLEASE GENERATE A RANDOM NUMBER BETWEEN 2 AND 5.

What if I want more than one pony from the breeding?
Then you will have to win it in whatever kind of event is used to distribute the other ponies.

Can I get bonus ponies from my breeding?
..... Maybe. Look for updates.

What about custom bred ponies?
Custom bred Ponies will be on an artist by artist basis whether they do them or not. (a quick list of base prices will be compiled here as this becomes available.)
