Yes she did Ala. She was 16 years old. Her sister lived to 15. We are down to our last cat, and he's about 13 and on his last legs. Henry

16 was how old my Mom's dog Sampson was when he passed on..... It's never easy. >.<
And it helps to have animal people to talk to, since some can't understand all the fuss over 'just an animal'.

He had behavioral issues and was ultra aggressive. He would actively try to attack... he had been abused by his other owners then I got him... he would go into the bathroom at night and wait for me to make my evening rounds...so a tired staggering Ane would wander into the lavatory and he would be waiting for me, but oh he wouldn't attack right away it would wait until I was seated and in mid stream to bite my feet!

I know right, thinking about it, it seems funny but it so wasn't...it isn't like he was playfully nibbling...he was actively waiting for me to be in a weakened position. I am short and that potty was really high so my feet didn't fully touch the floor... then he would bite and I mean, bite to hurt. I have scars on my ankles from it... then I couldn't get him off because he would bite then curl up into a half ball... and his quills were...hella sharp... I loved him...don't get me wrong but he was an a**
