What does "mercredi" mean?
Mercredi means Wednesday in French. I always thought it'd be a good shop name. *shot*

How do I get one?
The usual. FS, auctions, events, raffles.

Are these RP required?
Nope. It would be nice though. Your pet may grow faster and you may get special privileges.

Can I direct link?
Yes, that's how your pet grows. However, I'd like it if you could host the image yourself once they are at adult stage.

What are these pets?
They're a cross between foxes and cats. Basically they grow to fox size and have cat characteristics.

Can they die?
No. They stay at adult stage forever unless you somehow kill one off during RP. There must be a good reason though.

Who is Lionel?
Lionel is Mercredi's owner. He's also the mule and resident foxboy.

Is co-owning allowed?
There's a max of two people for co-ownership.

Can same gender pets breed?
It's more like they adopt a few kits. :3 Yep.

Can I help color?
Unless we're hiring, no. Sorry!

Pendant - Now, what possessed you to buy that pendant? I certainly don't know. Ahem. Well, looks like you're stuck with it for now. The gem seems to get warmer as time progresses.

Kit - What do we have here? Apparently your pendant has shifted into an adorable kit. I knew there was something strange about that shop--I mean, what a turn of events! <<; Remember to feed and play with it!

Adult - Congrats! You've successfully raised your kit. Now they can do all sorts of fun things by themselves as well as breed. Who doesn't want a family of fluffy kits?

Flatsales

This is the typical way to acquire a pet. Participants must post the number of the pendant they want. Flatsale pendants are 5k each. You are allowed to proxy for others. Once the winners are confirmed, a trade must be sent within 24 hours or the pendant will be resold.

Auctions taking place in the main thread usually start at flatsale price. Minimum increments are 1k. Autobuys vary, and sometimes there won't be one at all. Items are accepted and co-bidding is allowed. To bid, post in bold red font. Trade must be sent within 24 hours of the auction's end. No sniping!

Here's the place to go if you want your own custom Reneu. :3 Slots open in the months where there are no events taking place. This is first come first served, but I will notify everyone beforehand. However, this will become raffle-based if demand increases. If you are not sure of the exact price for the custom you want, feel free to ask. Payment is due immediately! No payment plans. Items are accepted at low-mid tektek. You must check with us beforehand if you wish to include items. Some colorists may not accept the items you offer.

So how does it work? Basically the Reneux take some of the magic from their gems and infuse it into blank gems with the help of the breeding item and a staff member.

Rules
1. Thread activity is required.
2. Your Reneux' offspring must be adults before they can breed again.
3. Same gendered Reneux may breed but they need an RP history.
4. Reneux can have 2-4 pendants.
5. You may keep one pendant for yourself. You must either give the others away or hold some sort of free contest for them. You may not sell them for profit.
6. You must pay a base price of 5k in order for your Reneux to breed. Each pendant also costs 5k or 7k depending on the Reneux up for breeding. ( i.e. Say you are to get 2 pendants from normal Reneux. You would add 10k to the 5k base price, and the total amount would be 15k )
7. And, of course, your Reneux must be adults to breed.


For each pendant:

Normal: 5k
Cosplay/Lineart edits: 7k
