A happier tune has swept over Lunaria.

Regardless of allegiance, Lunarians have come from every corner of the country to see the spectacle. Vibrant colours fill the sky, sickly sweet scents infect the air, and there is one all-too-familiar tune running through every mind. The circus is in town! It’s certainly a hard sight to miss: the vibrant tent peaking over the horizon, the banners plastered across every street corner. The sights distract everyone – from budding students to those with years of skill in their profession, and it’s hard not to be. The circus comes with promises of something not often found in an average Lunarian’s life: the exotic. Inside the fabric door is a whole new word. Though bits and pieces have been stolen from the other locations it has visited, the circus has a culture that is completely its own.

However, the circus is not the only attraction. For near it lies the market in full bloom - its shops restocked and new caravans rolled in. Merchants have swept in from every inch of Lunaria to peddle their wares and force their new imports onto unsuspecting victims. Foreign spices and charms are everywhere to be found, scattered in between food bargains and mystic trinkets.

Life is found in every corner of Lunaria, as these two festivals compete and share the attention of the entire nation. And, as expected, they have completely submerged two Lunarians youths in the chaos. Whether they are loyal to the circus or the market is another story, but one this is certain: these two are beyond passionate when it comes to their trade.

• The flatsale will end on MONDAY, April 12th at 11:59PM PDT.
• Prompt responses should be less than 2000 words. Quality over quantity! We like to see your creative juice flowing!
• Please post your entries here. We will ask you to color code accordingly to your Lunarian of choice. The coding should not be edited in any way, shape or form. Those that are will be disqualified. ALL ENTRIES SHOULD BE IN FONT SIZE 12.
• The concept that you win will be the concept you will stick with. Because you don't need an accepted quest to enter, please be thorough with your Lunarian's personality and traits.
• Creativity is the key. It is true that there is little left out there that is truly original but that doesn't mean you can't take an old concept or cliche and make it yours.
• Your entry MUST be yours. You may not get someone else to write your entry for you. If we find out that you've cheated, we will revoke your Lunarian.
• One entry per a person. Pretty self-explanatory. Check through your entry a couple times and make sure you're satisfied before sending it in. Those who send in more than one entry will have all their entries disqualified.
• All flatsales are at the fixed price of 25k. When posting your entry to the thread, start a trade for 25k as well. If you're not selected, we will cancel your trade.
• This is NOT a pairs flatsale.

Market Prompt

It doesn't get much better than this—your business connections have made good on their word, and now, your newly-stocked caravan is sitting right in the middle of Lunaria's biggest, busiest market. You're bound to make a killing with all of these new imports! Yet, amidst the haggling and bartering, you notice that your stall has been placed across that of your greatest mercantile competitor. Locking eyes with him (or her), you have to make a split-second decision.

Do you make a public scene, or do you choose to overlook your rivalry for the sake of preserving the fragile peace in Lunaria? Tell us what happens.

Circus Prompt

The night is young, and the energy that saturates the air is electrifying. This is no surprise, though, for it's the opening night of the circus. As you peek out from behind the curtains, you see that nearly every seat in the big tent is occupied by an eager Lunarian, and the pressure you feel to perform outstandingly ratchets higher with every passing moment. Disappearing behind the curtains once more to make room for the first act, you hear the applause welcome your colleagues into the ring. Just as soon as the clapping begins, however, all of the lights go out, and the applause is immediately replaced by murmurs of panic and confusion.

Do you rush into the ring to try to quell the masses? Do you investigate the source of this accident? Or do you perhaps stay behind the curtain, panicking like everyone else? Be creative with your response!
