I Please do not sell your pets for a profit
II No co-owning
III If there is going to be an ownership change, please notify a staff member
IV If there is going to be a name change, please notify a staff member
V Do not think you own a pet based off a character until you have fully paid for him/her

~Roleplaying/Journal Rules
I ALL PET OWNERS MUST HAVE A JOURNAL!!!
II Do not rp a pet without the owner's permission
III No chatspeak
IV No God-modding
V You do not have to rp. But you still must have a journal for the pet

Q:What exactly are Venia (Corrosives)
A: Basically the are Cat like creatures with 2 tails and antlers

Q: How do I get a Kit?
A: Flatsales, Raffles, Breedings, customs, etc....we have lots of ways for people to get them

Q: What are your forms of payment?
A: All of us take Gaia gold. But we don't mind pet trades from other shops, or free things either

Q: Can I have a freebie?
A: No. We put a lot of hard work into these pets. You wouldn't want us to work for free..do you?

Q: I want a pet right now and customs are closed!!
A: Tough. You'll have to wait for either customs to open or an event to happen.

Q: Can I bribe colorists?
A: If a colorist is allowing bribes, then yes...you can bribe us

Q: Do you guys take pet trades?
A: Yes, but you better make sure that the trade comes from a shop we actually want pets in

Q: Can we co-own?
A: No. These poor creatures are only so big.

Q: Can Kit's breed?
A: Uh....no. Only a mature adult can breed

Q: Can I re-sell a pet for myself
A: NO!!

Q: Why do I have to keep a pet journal?
A: The journals are like a second certification. Plus it helps other members out so they can get to know your pet

Q: I don't have to RP if I don't want to right?
A: Correct. You'll miss out on some things, but you don't have too

Q: I just got a breeding. So where is my cert?
A: Certs are only given to adults or Perma Kits. Partially because it's difficult on the colorists to have to change the cert every time a pet grows. This is another reason why you must have a journal

Q: Can Same sex pets breed
A: No because it defies the laws of nature. However, they can adopt....

Q: How do pets adopt?
A: They can either claim a kit from a custom, or you can ask an owner of a recent breeding to donate their pet for adoption.

Q: What if I have more questions that aren't here?
A: Ask someone. You can ask anyone here or you can PM a crew member and they will answer your question

~Story





In a forgotten land, an old beggar woman traveled the bricked roads of England. She was old, and she had he fair share of stories. She would travel from town to town, and children would flock around her to hear her tales of fantastic creatures. Most of her stories where merely just imagination, but one was as true as they come, and it was her favorite story.

When she was young, she would start, she traveled the land much like she did now. On one peculiar day, she heard the strangest noise. She followed the sound until there in the grass, she say an odd blue creature. She had never seen an animal much like this one, but with her kind heart, she took it to her home which wasn't far by.

She cared for this animal, and grew to love it, but one day, a strange man came to her and demanded that she give the creature to him. She asked of it's importance, but he didn't explain. The little animal then became different. It spoke to her and explained that she was the princess of a floating island. She fell from the island and landed in the human world. The man was the guardian of a gate that linked her world to the human world.

Without further explanation, the beggar woman allowed the guard to take the princess, and she never saw the strange blue creature again.

She has searched for this gate for all her years, she even sold her home and became a nomad. She searched high and low until she found a forest that was rarely ventured by man. She scrambled through it, almost thinking she would never find her way out, but she soon found a large stone gate with the same man, from several years ago, guarding it still.

Satisfied with knowing this gate existed, she continued her nomad ways and spread her words to her children. After she passed, her grand children searched for this gate. They found it too, and many generations later, her great-great-great-great.......so many great grandson, now guards it, and he is allowing these wonderful creatures to pass through into the human realm

IoC Guardian- The Guardian is in charge of all the goings on of the thread. She makes sure that pets are ready for events and that the colorists have room for more pets to come in

~The Venia


The animals from the legend are creatures called Venia. Sometimes they are called Corrosives because of what their island is called, but most want to be called by their official name.

When they enter the human realm, they are black or white. They have no colors, but as soon as they enter, they adopt colorful stripes and patterns. Sometimes even objects. There are three different species of Venia, and they are as follows:




Plain Venia are the most common. They do not have wings, but they are still loyal creatures. They start as kits, which is the equivalent of the baby stage. Males and females look alike in this stage. They then grow to the child stage. Again, male and female look the same. Finally as adults, Males become more aggressive while females, more passive. The horns on Males tend to be bigger and sometimes, more colorful



Angelic Venia are only different because of their wings. They also tend to be more passive than the other species. Angelic and Plain are common to find as they are much friendly with humans Kits and Children again look the same whether male or female.



Corrosive (Demon Venia) are the nastier and often times, not so friendly versions of the other two. They are bigger, and often take longer to grow, but they are loyal companions (if you can get past their twisted nature) Corrosive, as they seem to enjoy being called, are rare and are often not willing to enter the human world. Kits and Children look the same whether male or female.

~ Availability Information


Flatsale

All flatsale pets are 2k each. If you win a pet, payments are due to IoC Guardian within 24 hours. We will hold a pet for 48 hours (unless something happens). If you do not take your pet, it will be put up for Adoption.

You MAY proxy for someone else and yourself, but you must post each request in a separate form. If you have them in the same form, the will be denied and you'll have to try again

All flatsales will have a preview post that will be up a few days before the event begins. When the mule posts the flatsale info and image in the thread, then the sale is up for grabs

Auctions

Auctions are special Venia that need good homes. They are taken only by the highest bidder at the time. Usually auctions are given a week to sit up for sale. Payments are due to IoC Guardian within 24 hours and will be held for 48 hours in case of emergency.

Starting Bid will always start at 5k and Auto-buy will be determined at the time. Forms for the auction will also be determined at the time of an auction.

Raffles

Raffles are typically for breedings that need homes. However, there are often exceptions (for example..somebody feels like making a bunch of Venia and decides to make it a raffle)

Raffle tickets are often unlimited in numbers unless posted otherwise. They are also usually 100 gold a piece unless posted otherwise. If you buy tickets, please send trades to IoC Guardian. Your name will be added to the list only after you've completed the trade

~Breeding Information


So your little precious pets are considering children?

Well that's not a problem. Breedings are allowed and the following information must be followed

~If you want to breed your pets, they must be adults. No ands, ifs or, buts...We don't want to try and breed immature pets

~We do not allow Same sex breeding.

Keep in mind that couples can have 1-3 babies

Normal and Angelic allowed to breed with one another, and will receive either angelic babies, normal babies, or Both! Corrosive can breed with Normals and Angelics, but you will only get a Corrosive kit if you breed two Corrosive together

Cosplays and half breeds can breed with one another as well. If you have a full cosplay or halfbreed breeding then it will cost more if you breed a cosplay with a non-cosplay.

Here are the prices for breedings

Normal Couples: 2k
Angel: 4k
Corrosive and Cosplay/ Halfbreeds (single) : 6k
Corrosive and Cosplay/ Halfbreeds (only if it's a pure couple) : 8k

Aha! So you want something different, well good thing we have customs

So..what do we offer on this? all kinds of nice things, but it can be expensive and sometimes we won't have custom slots open, but you will get one if you have some form of patience

So..here are our prices

~Regular Venia and Angelic Venia

Random- 20k {You name two colors, we choose markings and gender}
Semi Custom- 45k {You choose gender and 4 colors, we choose markings}
Custom - 80k {You choose gender, colors and markings.}
Minor Edits- 150k { You choose gender, markings, colors, and you have the option of small edits}
Cosplay- 300k (You choose everything and have the option of major line edits}
Massive Edits- 700k(You choose everything and have the option of massive line edits like armor. This does not include clothes or hair)

Child to adult- 5k
Kit to Adult-10k

Because these are more sparce, we will be limited on providing this type
They are also much more expensive

~Adoption Agency

From time to time, there are pets that we have that want homes. So, we've set up an adoption agency that allows this to happen.

This part of the shop will be treated like a never ending flatsale. If at anytime a person decides to give their pet away, or if the holding period on an event pet has expired, or if a colorist decides to color something and then give it away, it will wind up here. If that's the case, the pet will be cheaply priced and then posted in the thread announcing it's existence. First person to claim it will gain ownership.

So here are the typical prices for the poor guys who need a home

Plain Venia- 4k
Angelic Venia- 6k
Corrosive- 10k
Cosplay or Halfbreed- 15k

When claimed, payments are expected to the mule or colorist (depending on the case) within 24 hours. They will be help for 48 in the event of emergency. If the pet is not taken within that time period, then it will be sent back for Adoption.
