World
The World of Elcuartas is similar to real Earth. Everything that happens in the World, all interactions between Elements obey to the geophysical laws. There is no human civilization. There are no cities, no machines, no pollution, and no ecological problems. The World is untouched and entirely belongs to Elquartas.
Yet, humans do visit this world. Taking possession of nucleus, the owner is transferred to the World at the location that is optimal for their nucleus’s development. Usually there is some dwelling in such place; it’s simple and plain but it serves its purpose.
The process of raising an Elcuarta is pretty simple. On the first stage nucleus should be put in (or been exposed to the influence of) its element. After reaching second stage, foal need to have plenty of its element to play in. Training should be started on this stage. Travelling is possible, though foals usually can’t carry rider for too long; but they is able to follow their owners for any distance or amount of time. On the third stage coal is able to carry its owner for significant distance.

Purebreeds Clans, Legendary Elcuartas and relations between Clans
Sun
This clan consists of the only member - Sol. He is the most powerful Elcuarta that has ever existed because he is the personification of Sun. He affects on the World on a global basis. His influence results in the World’s orbit, season changes, annual change of temperature and so forth. In the same time, his position in the solar system limits his ways to impact on the World.
It can be said that Sol is indifferent to what happens on the planet; he is above it all. The planet, its satellite and the planet's inhabitants doesn't affect Sol that much. He gives them his light not because he cares about them but because it is a course of nature. Anyway, life on the planet can amuse him; he likes to watch how things go on. He doesn’t make an alliance with anybody, but, perhaps, his strongest bonds are with Earth clan.
Sometimes, when clans beg for it, he graces them with his offsprings. Although these Crossbreed are usually of some optic nature, they have one significant gift - in common with the light, they are able to move very fast, virtually teleporting. They can use this gift only by day.
Moon
This clan also consists of the only member. It is Tsuki. While the Element she represents is not a star, Tsuki is the personification of the second largest celestial body in this system. Despite the fact that her light is just reflection of Sol's light, her vicinity to the planet gives her significant influence over the World. But because of her light is just a reflection, Tsuki is jealous of Sol. She might not show it, but the way she weaves a plot with help of her loyal Water followers speaks that she is very serious in her feud.
She is able to give birth to an Elcuartas of optic nature, too, though usually they are much weaker that their solar cousins. But they also have gift of teleporting which works only by night.
Earth
The eldest amongst the Clans reside at the planet. This Clan is quite numerous and Elcuartas that belong to it can be met everywhere on land. Member of this clan are distinguished by their thoroughness. It's hard to call them unfriendly, they are just very sure in their status. Elcuartas of this clan usually have excellent stamina and can withstand much of damage; so far as concerns adult Earth Elcuartas, it can be hard to gravely wound them. They have strict position in the world politics and pursue their purpose steadily.
Earth Clan is the loyal follower of the Sun. In the same time, this clan considers that other clans aren't their enemies. Earth Clan can work with any of them, no matter what their alliance is, but it doesn't mean that Earth Clan will change its point of view.
Fire
This clan is also one of the eldest. Together with Earth Clan, they gave birth to the planet. But unlike the Earth, Fire Elcuartas are quite rare to meet. They usual place to live is underground, under the lithosphere, in the center of the planet. But they use every, no matter how slightest, chance to go out, to the surface. Elcuartas of this clan are stubborn, often ill-tempered, vindictive, and always remember about their own benefit.
Fire Clan can be called egoistic. No matter what Fire Elcuartas are doing, they do this because of themselves. They are smart, sly, and often, when something doesn’t go how they want, back-stabbing and treacherous. They are hard to control; rebellion is their second name. This clan is famous for their scheming and doesn't care about its reputation.
Fire Clan is quite unstable when alliance is at issue. Its most devoted bond is with Air since fire needs oxygen in order to exist. That’s why Fire Elcuartas remain faithful to Air Clan despite the latter’s very flexible policy. Fire Clan always turn a blind eye to Air’s philanderings with Water who is loathed by Fire.
Fire Clan hate the Sun with all its burning passion. The reason lies in the Fire’s ambition – to be the only source of light and warmth in the universe. The ultimate goal of this clan is to consume the planet and turn it to a protostar and, with time, became a star that could rival with the Sun.
Water
It is the most powerful clan on the whole planet. Their domain consists not only of seas and oceans, but of lakes, rivers, creeks, brooks and even puddles. They have influence in almost every aspect of the World. Water Elcuartas are very nice when they aren’t angry. Usually they are smooth, calm and liveable. But still waters run deep and it’s better not to mess with them. Despite on their generally good nature, they could be stubborn and pushful.
Water Clan appeared on the planet after long period of “Burning”, when the planet was covered in molten rocks and conflagrations. With time Earth Clan have won this battle and the planet cooled down which let Water Clan to make its entrance into scene. Water Elcuartas quickly conquered more that half of the planet’s surface and became to play major role in all processes.
Water Clan is a follower of the Moon. The Clan’s ambition is to cover whole planet and Tsuki gives them the power to conquer the land, though for just several hours of a day, and they very obliged to her for this.
Air
The youngest of the Purebreed Clans, the Air also is the most easy-going one. Like the Water, Air Elcuartas are almost omnipresent; but their hallmark is that they are able to find common ground with any other clan. They are able to fly and are generally the fastest amongst other clans. Their Element gives them instability, but unlike the Fire Clan’s treat, it’s unintentional instability. Air Elcuartas vary in their tempers considerably. They are almost unpredictable and someone might call them hare-brained.
Air Clan is also the most fearless amongst others. They don’t afraid of anything, aside from Solares, who is able to blow them off the planet to the darkness of the space. The only one who Air Clan worships seriously is Magna; she protects them from Solares.

Legendaries
Legendaries are called Elcuartas of very specific natures. No-one saw or possesses them because they play irreplaceable roles in the World.
Solares - the Elcuarta of nature of solar wind. He is a son of Sol; he is the tool through which Sol is able to affect on the planet.
Magna - Elcuarta of nature of geomagnetic field. She descends from union of Earth and Fire Clans, but doesn’t belong to any of them. She protects the planet from harsh influence of the Sol and his son Solares. Auroras are her children by Solares.

Crossbreeds Clans and Tribes
Snow
Brood of Water and Air Clans union, the Snow Clan is known for their defying of Sol’s warmth. The planet’s poles are its domain, and a large part of Snow Elcuartas’ population migrates from North Hemisphere to South Hemisphere and back twice a year. While Snow Clan’s existence is possible because of lack of the Sun’s warmth and specific of the planet’s axis, this Clan doesn’t worship Sol. On the contrary, they see him as a peril. The most powerful Snow Elcuartas are born on the poles during the semi-annual polar nights; the might of any Snow Elcuarta rises at night.
Snow Elcuartas are very quiet, calm, and deadly. Their attack can be very subtle and this is one of the most dangerous traits on this clan. But in the same time, they are incredibly loyal to those who were able to gain their respect; those fortunate souls will never be experiencing the horrors of cold. Snow Elcuartas also are excellent trackers – they are able to read any trail and figure out what happened.
Whirlpool
This tribe is the result of interaction and internal politics of the water Clan. Its history throw back in those time when the Water Clan begun its course of conquering the land.
Whirlpool Elcuartas are ones of the most unpredictable water beings. They possess a tremendous strength, and are quite ruthless. Luckily for their enemies, Whirlpool Tribe isn’t very numerous; they need certain environment for growing up, and, after becoming adult, they don’t usually tend to change their inhabitations.
Great amount of patience is required for raising such Elcuarta. This kind is quite stubborn and hard for taming.
Blizzard
Blizzard Tribe belongs to the Snow Clan. Unlike the Clan, this Tribe is neither quiet nor calm. It’s fierce and stinging, the most formidable of all snow beings. They are quite numerous and prefer open-space areas where they can run for their pleasure.
Blizzard Elcuartas are good runners, tireless and enduring. That trait they have taken over their Air ancestors, along with some other streaks. They are careless, spirited, and stunning in its deadly grace. A dangerous creatures, they must be dealt with very carefully.

Human factor
Under guidance of a human owner an Elcuarta is able to reach much higher levels in manifestation of its element. Moreover, Elcuartas, as personifications of Elements, aren’t able to act against their nature, but sometimes, when clan’s goals call for, it is needed. And it’s possible for an owner to make their Elcuarta execute such act.
Also, all Elcuartas of the same element possess group mind. But when Elcuarta is tended and taken care of, it is able to gain individuality; this is a serious achievement and it allows Elcuarta to rise to higher levels. Such development is much sought after by clans since it gives them more power and authority.
Humans don’t have any special powers.

How to begin
After purchase of an Elcuarta you will be given an entrance post by the shop owner. In this post will be described place where you found yourself after travelling to the World. The place will be chosen so that there will be optimal conditions for all your Elcuartas. You will be provided with position coordinates as well as name of the place if it’s exists (remember, the World is a copy of the Earth). You may use Wikipedia, Google Maps or Google Earth to found out more details about the place. Also I would strongly recommend to use Google Earth that has a weather feature for adding more reality in your roleplaying.
