Dear current and potential customers!

After much thought, I decided to put Leaf Stables on hiatus. I have two reasons for this action:

Firstly, there is a very important work I must concentrate on in real life. My future career depends on it and I'd rather not mess it up. There is a lot of work I have to do and, therefore, I need to keep all distraction to a minimum. I must finish said work at least to the end of 2010 year; that will demand a lot of my time and efforts. It might be my very last chance to start to improve the situation.

Secondly, I'm seriously not satisfied with my level as an artist. My current level is not fit for expression of all ideas I have for this shop. I might be a perfectionist but I feel that I'm not able to invest my time and efforts in the shop properly if I don't do art on a level that I would like myself. I know I'm not doing myself justice and I want to learn more. Moreover, I feel that current unpopularity of the shop is due to current level of art. Therefore, improving my art skills is also in my agenda.

Dear customers, I hope you'll understand me and accept my reasons. Ultimately I do this for the shop and, as consequence, for you. I want be able to give all my time to the shop and for this I need to deal with those two problems, so they won't stand over me. I hope you will be willing to wait.

The thread is going to be still available for chat and hanging out. I'll be at Gaia, on this account or as Gaida, mostly lurking.

General Rules

Stable Management

1. Ten purebred Elcuartas listed as The Stirps in the Show Paddocks are not for sale.
   
2. Any nucleus in our shop is an offspring of two of The Stirps.
   
3. Any Elcuarta can be used in breeding. If you want to hybridize you pet with other owner's pet, you must have an agreement of said owner. For more detail, see Breeding.
   
4. Any returned Elcuarta (see Returns Policy) are available for purchase. Until sale such Elcuarta will be used as a breeder.

Purchases

1. You may buy as much Elcuartas as you want.
   
2. You may buy for third person, but the supposed owner must be active in this thread. You may act as their representative.
   
3. All payment are due to 24 hours after ordering, flatsale or auction.
   
4. You cannot resell your pet to anyone else. Also see Returns Policy.
   
5. After you Elcuarta reached adult stage, host it on your own resource, please.

Returns Policy
In case when you are disappointed in your Elcuarta (say, your pet isn't suitable for breeding plan you've chosen), you may return your adult Elcuarta to Leaf Stables, but Leaf Stable won't refund you any gold. Note! You may return only adult Elcuarta. You cannot return nucleus, foal or colt.

Elcuartas are unique creatures, a personifications of the Elements itself. There are six Great Elements: Water, Earth, Air, Fire, Sun and Moon. Combining and crossing, they give birth to any other elements you can meet in this world. Air produces Wind, Earth produces Rock, Air and Water generate Cloud and Rain, Fire and Earth generate Volcanic Dust and Lava, Water and Wind generate Storm, and so on.

That means that with well-thought-out breeding plan you can get a pet with any element nature. For example, you are looking for Elcuarta with Sand nature. Sand is a product of wind erosion and in order to get Sand Elcuarta you need to interbreed Rock Elcuarta and Wind Elcuarta. Before that you need to interbreed two Earth Elcuarta for offspring with Rock nature.

Combining and carefully planning in such way you shall have Elcuarta you are looking for.

Types of breeds

There are four types of Elcuartas breeds.

• Purebreeds. These are Elcuartas that have one of the Great Elements as their nature. They are either offsprings of The Stirps or other purebreeds with such nature. The Sun and Moon Great Elements are an exceptions. There are only two Elcuarta with such nature and they are amongst The Stirps.
  
  
• Basic Crossbreeds. These Ecluartas are offsprings of Purebreeds but have different elements generated in their parents' breeding. Also this category includes offsprings of Basic Crossbreeds. In this category fall all Elcuartas with regenerated elements if said elements occur in nature commonly (i.e. Wind, Rain, Cloud, Rock, River, Waterfall, Mud, Lightning, Thunder, etc.).
  
  
• Rare Crossbreeds. Basically, these Elcuartas are born the same way as Basic Crossbreeds but their elements are either rarer or more spectacular in its display. Lava, Tornado, Typhoon and etc. belong to this category.
  
  
• Unique Crossbreeds. Elements of these Elcuartas are very rare and occur only few times during human life. Most of them are extremely dangerous for a human, but it's a part of their allure.

There are four stages of an Elcuarta's grouth.

• Nucleus. In process of breeding of two Elcuartas, their elements combine and form a nuscleus - egg-like structure bearing signs of future Elcuarta's element.

• Foal. After incubation time a nucleus changes and forms little Elcuatra. At this stage its main characteristics don't begin to develop yet, although it demonstrates first faint signs of its element. It is possible for a foal in this stage to exhibit spontaneously some of its parents' elements.

• Colt. At this stage young Elcuarta begins to develop its main characteristic. It rapidly gains in weight and size, evolves mane and tail, though its constitution is still rather disproportional.

• Adult. It's the final stage. Elcuarta sprouted a mane and a tail, the body reached its final form. This stage is notable for the fact that each Elcuarta has its unique constitution and pose. It's almost impossible to predict these characteristics and it's exactly what makes any adult Elcuarta so special. Each art for each adult stage is unique.

An Elcuarta's grown at Foal and Colt Stages can be stopped with help of Growth Inhibitor Potion. Resuming an Elcuarta's growth is available with help of Growth Catalyst Potion.

So, you finally decided to get one more purebreed Elcuarta or crossbreed Elcuarta of another nature. Any of your fantasy is possible with help of good breeding plan.

Breeding Rules
• A breeding consist of male and female.
• Only adult Elcuartas can breed.
• A breeding fee is 5K per owner.
• First come first serve rule.
• If you want to hybridize you pet with other owner's pet, you must have an agreement of said owner.
• An Elcuarta is able to breed again only after its offspring reached Adult stage.
• Backcrossing is allowed. There is no such matter as incest.
• Breedings may result in more then one offspring.


There is a possibility that you won't be able to get the intended effect in just one breeding, especially if your goal is a Rare or Unique Crossbreed. Often a series of breedings are required. You may nick it in with help of Accelerator Potion or Deluxe Accelerator Potion. The former allows to skip half of intermediate phases (i.e. you've got your Elcuarta in 2 steps instead of 4 steps), the latter allows to skip all intermediate phases.

• Growth Inhibitor Potion
Stops growth on all non-adult stages. Might have negative effect if used for too long on nucleus stage, resulting in complete stop of growth. Costs 2K.





• Growth Catalyst Potion
Cancel effects of Growth Inhibitor Potion and resume growth. Five dosage of GCP can cure after-effects of prolonged use of GIP. Costs 2K.





• Accelerator Potion
Allows to skip half of intermediate phases when used in breeding process. Price is calculated according number of missing phases.





• Deluxe Accelerator Potion
Allows to skip all of intermediate phases when used in breeding process. Price is calculated according number of missing phases.

• How do I get one?
  Check the Availability Post. There will be news about premades, flatsales, auctions and customs.
  
  
• Can I have one right now?
  Only if you offer a very good bribe.
  
  
• How much do they cost?
  In flatsales Purebreeds and Basic Croosbreeds cost ***. Prices for Rare and Unique Crossbreeds are higher and may vary.
  
  
• Can I have a custom Elcuarta?
  Yes, but price will be much higher, more than *** at least.
  
  
• How long will it take for Elcuarta to grow?
  It will take 2 weeks for each stage. Therefore, it will take 1.5 month to grow up to the adult stage.
  
  
• Can I roleplay my Elcuarta?
  Yes, you can, though it isn't mandatory. All RP must be done in this thread until further changes.
  
  
• I want a special Elcuarta but I can't figure what breeding plan I need to get it. What should I do?
  Post your question in the thread or PM the shop owner.
  
  
• Do you take items as payment?
  It really depends on item. Anyway it's matter of discussion.

Morioka Ruriko
The owner, manager, and artist of the shop. Horses are her long time love, and being interested in natural science, she decided to bring these two thngs to life in a form of breedable shop. That was the beginning of Leaf Stables.

As for real life, it can be said that Ruruko is quite mature person. At least, she hopes it's so. She isn't a native English speaker, as you can notice by how she talks. However, she learns English for 16 years, though, and she hopes her English isn't realy bad.

As a person, Ruriko is rather introverted and seldom starts interaction. But despite this, she is friendly.

Gaida Rai
A helper and main advertiser of Leaf Stables.

Originally being created as mule account, but after change of name, gender, and backstory she become a self-sustained character. It was established that she is a dog demon concerned with Inuyasha canon. She was named after and in remembrance of the most friendliest dog in the world.

Gaida likes to help others, that's why she is a regular of the certain Charity, where she chats, makes free personalized graphics, and occationaly donate gold and items. In comparison with Ruriko, Gaida is rather extroverted and definitely more talkative.

Elcuartas of this tribe are known for their good and pleasant temper. They like to bring joy to all around them. They are usually born on a border with water, in clouds of spray or in the water mist, and try to stay there for most part part of their life.
They move around instantly with help of rainbows, using them as bridges; the strongest ones are able to create their own rainbows without help of water and sun light.
Usually they avoid dried or too cold places such as deserts and snowfields, but good care can give them extra powers and abilities, and they can venture to go to such places.
With end of day Raindow Elsuartas lose most part of their power, giving place to their night cousins, Moonbow Elciartas.

Halo Tribe has strong affinity to cold places. They are born in coldest days, when there is no clouds in the sky and the sun is dazzles the eyes.
These ghostlike creatures possess an ability to create an illusions that make an observer to believe that he sees them in many places in the same time. It's extremely hard to pinpoint where exactly a Halo Elsuarta is at the given moment.
By nature, Elcuartas of this tribe are very composed and indifferent. It's hard to gain their trust; not because they are wary, but because they just don't care much. On other hand, once their trust is gained, it's impossible to lose it. Even moving to warm and hot places on equator won't prevent Halo Elcuarta from following in its owner - Elcuarta will just stay in the top of the atmosphere, where it is on home ground. However, if ordered to go down, to the planet surface, Halo Elcuarta will get serious injures and might die.

Green Ray Tribe consists of one of the rarest offspring of Sol. They appear shortly after sunset or before sunrise, when a green spot is visible for a short period of time above the sun, or a green ray shoots up from the sunset point. They are usually can be found at an areas with unobstructed horizon, such as over the ocean, but are possible over cloud-tops and mountain-tops as well.
These Elcuartas possess an ability to use the full extent of their powers even when Sol isn't visible. It's unique, any other Elcuarta of nature of optical phenomena born by the sun lose their power at night. Green Ray Elcuartas remain active even after sunset or before sunrise; the period of time in which they are able to use they power depends on the level of Elcuarta.
