[ General Rules ]

[.01] DO NOT steal or edit any of the artworks created by Kyou. Kyou spent alot of time producing every single artwork in the shop, even the graphic banners too. Stealing art is highly offensive and you will be reported to the site admins and get yourself banned.
[.02] PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE FRONT PAGE. And do not flood Kyou or the mule's inbox with questions. Feel free to ask questions in the thread but if Kyou do not respond to your question, there's a high chance that the answer could be found on this page.
[.03] Be respectful to everyone! Please, be nice to everyone and do not start/participate in a flame war in the thread, these are supposed to be carried out in PMs. No dramas in the thread either. However, IC (in character) arguments between Raevans are allowed.
[.04] One Raevan per person. I'm sorry, but please give other people a chance to own a Raevan too ok? We want to create a healthy and large community so everyone could have fun together!!
[.05] Please use proper english in the thread. l33t and n00b language breaks my mind, and it will only lower my respect for you and the chance of you getting a Raevan.
[.06] Roleplaying is required. You have to RP in order for your Raevan to grow. Our requirements aren't very strict, you just need to post AT LEAST 1 entry in your journal every month. Please refer to the RP rules further down for more information on RP.
[.07] Do not ask/pester us to give/sell you a Raevan. You can get a Raevan through raffles, flatsales, auctions, or custom ordering. (although the last option is a little pricy) Please check the Availability section of the page further down for more information.
[.08] Co-owning is not allowed. It will only confuse us if two people RP a RP-heavy pet at the same time. Plot/Personality complications might occur and things might get ugly. This option will only rarely be accepted under certain circumstances.
[.09] If you have any questions that're not answered on the front page, please ask them in the thread instead of through PM. I am sure there are a lot more other people in the thread that could answer your questions. This rule is exceptional in certain situations.
[.10] We reserve the rights to change these rules anytime we like.


[ Flatsale Rules ]

[.01] Flatsales are run in a RP-prompt contest format.
[.02] You will be given a specific time to write your story/reaction post to the prompt.
[.03] Please, keep all entries less than 1000 words. Remember, we put importance in quality rather than quantity.
[.04] All entries should be submitted to the shop mule Anachrophobia.
[.05] Originality will give your extra points. We know when we see a familiar concept/plot that's not originally your's.
[.06] You may not get someone else to write your entry for you. We reserve the rights to take your Raevan away from you if we found out that your writing style differs from the contest entry.

[ Auction Rules ]

[.01] DO NOT retract bids!! Do so and get yourself greylisted.
[.02] DO NOT BID if you don't have the funds. I am expecting you to have the full sum when we trade right after the auction. Excuses like "I will have the full sum soon" will not be tolerated. Break this rule and get yourself greylisted.
[.03] I accept item bids. But only donation items and NM/Angelic headbands are allowed.
[.04] Please calculate your total bid. As I don't have the price guide window opened 24/7, and I suck at maths. I go by mid-whatever is the most updated price guide in the Gaia exchange at the time of the auction.
[.05] Anti-snipe rule will be applied. Bidding will continue running for 12 hours after the last bid.
[.06] Do not discourage people from bidding. Do not in any way, intimidate other people from bidding by boasting how much gold you have, or also whine how much you wanted the Raevan and beg other people to not bid. You will be greylisted if you do so.
[.07] Raevans in auctions are always special in one way or another. They will either be customs or super rare fel essences.

[ The Storm ]

Millions of years ago, long before the time of humans, the world was full of magical creatures and beautiful forests. In the middle of the thickest forest of this land stood the Yggdrasil Tree, more widely known nowadays as the World Tree. And at this precise location, on the other side of the world stood Mount Meru, the sacred mountain where the God of Creation dwells. With the help of the Yggdrasil Tree and Mount Meru, the world was able to keep it's stability and peace.

Mother Nature took part in creating wonderful beings, and from the flower buds of the Yggdrasil Tree, combined with the water that flows down from Mount Meru, she created two elves, the male named Freyr, and the female named Shira. They were gifted with the beauty like the Yggdrasil flowers, and had smooth, long, flowing hair like the spring water that flows down from Mount Meru. They carry the responsibility of looking after the plants and creatures of the land; they are the shepherds. Although it was unforeseen by Mother Nature, and in her greatness she didn't intend this to happen, both the elves developed mortal emotions. After years of spending their lives together, they fell deeply in love with each other. They would spend endless hours sitting on the Yggdrasil Tree talking to each other. The creatures in the forests always enjoyed their presence. Squirrels, birds, foxes and even the dragons always surrounded them, listening to their beautiful voices, especially Shira as she sang. The songs were so beautiful that flowers will bloom when she opened her mouth to sing. The Yggdrasil Tree enjoyed their company too and most of the time it hummed along with Shira's songs.

Although Freyr and Shira were the children of Mother Nature, they were still mortals. One unfortunate day, Freyr accidently slipped and fell off a cliff. When Shira found Freyr's body, she was devastated. And with her heartbroken soul she sang. She tore her voice and sang the song of sorrow with all her might. All the creatures crept out of their burrows to listen to the song, and even the Yggdrasil Tree mourned for Freyr's death. The whole world was captivated to listen. And as Shira's very best were brought out only at the cost of great pain, she impaled herself with Freyr's sword. In her death her song continued, reaching far and vast all the way to the other end of the world. And somehow it attracted an odd storm. The wind howled like thousands of fierce lions and the sea waves rose so high and struck the land with so much force that it broke in half. And in this storm, the Yggdrasil Tree was struck by lightning, and it fell. The Yggdrasil Tree fell onto the ground with a crash so loud, that the God of Creation at the top of Mount Meru 80,000 leagues high above the mountain could hear it. The storm howled for 1000 days and 1000 nights. By the time the storm subsided, the once beautiful forest was no more. The Yggdrasil Tree laid decaying on it's side, and no creature could be seen. With the loss of the Yggdrasil Tree the world's balance was affected. Plants all over the world started to wither, animals were tainted, and the sea was drying. Dwelling on Mount Meru, the God of Creation could not bear this sight. To be sure that a tragedy like this will never happen again, started to rebuild the world with new laws. And later that new world he built became our world today.

But those tainted elements could still be found if you look carefully enough. A scientist c** warlock Kyou and his companion Jeremiah are collectors of these tainted elements, and they called them Fel Essences.

[ About Fel Essences ]

Fel essences are rare tainted elements resulted from the abnormal storm that happened millions of years ago. They are elements that're not acting in the norm. For example, when a phoenix dies it will turn into ash, but eventually from those ashes the phoenix will rise again. However, after the storm the phoenix didn't rise again from the ashes, but remain as phoenix ash. As everyone knows, mermaid's tears will turn into diamonds. But what about mermaid's tears that remain in liquid form? Voices that could be trapped in a vial, fire that could burn without oxygen, shadows that exist without something casting it? All these fel essences were left behind after the storm. Unfortunately, with the rebuilding of the world and advancement of technology, these fel essences that're scattered around the world are starting to disappear. Thankfully, with much effort and interest, Kyou was able to collect a lot, if not most, of these fel essences. Now, Kyou is trying to revive these fel essences with modern technology.

After the destruction of Kyou's half of the lab building, the once dome-shaped building is no longer complete. But after a complete reconstruction, the new laboratory is unfortunately no longer directly connected with the other dome half. Instead it stands on it's own now. Connected to the old laboratory with just a roof atop the outdoor cafeteria, the brand new rebuilt 2-storey Lab 305 stood modestly where the destroyed laboratory was. The new lab features some greatly improved facilities, such as the personal offices for all the staff, wider laboratory space, a fully furnished living quarters for Kyou on the upper floor, a large balcony and an outdoor cafeteria. Although he had lost the previous laboratory numbered "305", but he kept the number anyway as the Lab's official name, just for the heck of familiarity.

Kyou is not your normal nerd scientist. Having an extreme interest in dark arts, he is also a warlock. Where do you think he got his horns, long pointy ears and that devil tail? What other way than signing a contract with the devil? Anyway, by utilising his power of dark arts, he managed to collect rare fel essences into his vials. After failing many times with his experiment (well just failed once, I'm exaggerating) Dr. Kyou finally managed to create his very first Raevan by combining one of the many fel essences he had, and a soul caught in a soul bottle.

The 3 huge machines still stood in the newly renovated laboratory, rectangular in shape and large enough to fit a human in it, they look like fish tanks. By inserting a vial of fel essence and a soul in it, a Raevan will be formed in it automatically. So what are you waiting for? Do drop by the lab for a visit if you're interested in the Raevans.

[.Stage 1] A vial of Fel Essence and an empty Soul Bottle

So you got a vial of fel essence from Kyou at last!! But technically your Raevan does not exist yet, after all... a vial of random essences does not have a mind of their own! So that's why along with the fel essence, an empty soul bottle will be given to you as well!! 8D The bottle is made out of a special kind of glass called soul-glass. They have the ability to attract wandering souls. The owner have to place it near something where the soul is easily attracted (ie: place it beside a birdcage to capture the soul of the bird, but of course the bird will die.) It also works with creatures that're already dead (place it near the graveyard) or unanimated objects like trees and stones. (of course the tree will die slowly, and the stone will crumble to ashes) As long as the item isn't man-made then it's ok. The soul you collected is the main substance for the Raevan's mind and soul. It also affects how your Raevan will look like. You'll bring the soul to Kyou after you've collected it, and Kyou will merge both ingredients and form your very own Raevan with the power of science!!!

[.Stage 2] A vial of Fel Essence and a filled Soul Bottle!!

Oh my!! Look your soul bottle is filled with some smoky swirly substances!! Congratulations you had managed to catch a soul!! 8D Now that you have the fel essence and a soul trapped in the bottle, you can arrange an appointment with Kyou to begin the process of making your Raevan!! 8D Do not however, leave the soul in your bottle for too long, as the soul is always looking for a way to get out of the bottle. Nobody likes to be imprisoned after all, no matter if it's for a good cause or not. If your soul did escape though, you can still re-use the bottle to try to catch it back. When the soul is in your soul bottle, sometimes you could feel the emotions and and see the soul's memories of it's past life in your dreams.

[.Stage 3] Frei

After a month or more of anticipation, your Raevan had finally came to shape!! 8D At the stage of a Frei, they do not have a lower body, not even a waist. A rune symbol is located in between the strands of rags, and your Raevan is in the process of absorbing the rune. The body of a Raevan created with scientific equipments is not perfect, and it could not consume the fel essence in just a few months. The rune is actually the symbol of the fel essence, and your Raevan will continuously absorb the fel essence to grow. At this stage, your Raevan do not have any memories of it's pass life, due to the fact that the soul had been 'reborn' into a new body. They may be a little awkward when expressing emotions, but they learn fast at this stage, just like little children!! And the best of all, they FLOAT!!! wheeeeee 8DDDD

[.Stage 4] Sigel

The second stage of a Raevan. They have a waist now, and you can only see portions of the rune right now as the rune is nearly completely absorbed. Their state of mind is like a teenager now, so they might rebel or being emo etc. Sigels can breed with Kyou's help. But in doing so, both Sigels have to be sacrificed for the new Raven, so it is not advisable to do so. They still float XD;;

[.Stage 5] Valsaros

The final stage of a normal Raevan. They finally acquired their full body!! And now they can run like normal humans do!! Of course they could still fly/float if they want to depending on the size of their wings. But who wants to float when they finally have legs to run around with!! They have the mind of an adult right now. They could also breed, but unlike at the Sigel stage, non will be sacrificed in the process of the breeding. Mating of the same gender is possible to produce a new Raevan.

Other than the Raevans, Kyou had conducted a few minor experiments on the side. These Chimeras were one of the results of one such experiments on a chilly winter day around Christmas. By combining 2 animal souls together, he was able to merge them magically and transform them into a Chimera. These are generally limited 2-stage pets (egg -> Chimera, sometimes excluding the egg stage) and are distributed at an extremely rare rate. Only 5 Chimeras exists at the moment. The Butterflox, Demonic Sheep, Foxfish, Catsune and the Octopuss.

Breeding can only be done by Raevans at the Sigel stage and Valsaros stage.

[ Sigel Breeding ]

[.01] Sigel breeding is not encouraged. Because due to their incomplete bodies and their reliance towards the rune still to maintain bodily function.
[.02] Both Sigels will be sacrificed in order to breed a new Frei. This is also why it's discouraged. Their rune (aka essence) will be drawn out of their bodies to combine into a new essence, without the rune to maintain their bodies, they will die, because their bodies cannot self sustain yet.
[.03] Breeding of the same sex is possible.

[ Valsaros Breeding ]

[.01] They can breed freely without any life threatening consequences because they already have a complete body. They no longer rely on the rune to sustain their body. At this stage they could eat like a regular human to sustain their own body.
[.02] However they cannot breed like regular humans do. Due to a flaw in the experiment, all Raevans are infertile. They are not impotent sexually, but they just cannot bear children on their own.
[.03] Raevan powers will become weaker after breeding. Because one of the process of the breeding is to extract part of the essence contained within their body. And although with a fully functional body, their individual powers are still coming from the essence/rune.

We usually have quite some contests and RP events spanned out.

[.Regular Flatsale] - None atm
Regular flatsales are generally ran on a yearly basis. Normally once a year (from now on) and usually a month or two before the shop's anniversary. A second flatsale might be held in the same year, but chances are low.

[.Auction] - None atm
Auctions are even rarer than flatsales. Because the shop generally welcomes more good writers than rich people. It's generally held once every two years. Might have random auctions here and there, but chances are even lower than flatsales.

[.Special Events] - None atm
Raevan presets, special themed events, metaplot events etc, are held occassionally. And on random intervals. These events usually are unique one way or another.

Due to the high demand and workload, (hey, I don't only draw okay, I run the shop too D: ) my prices will be extremely steep from now on. [.01] Keeping a RP journal is required. It just serves as a growth record of your child really. You are not required to post RP in journal form, but you could also record your interactive-RP with another Raevan in your journal. It's easier for the staff to keep track of the growth of your Raevan through your journal.
[.02] At least 1 RP post every two months! Whether it'd be a journal post, RP in the main HQ thread, or even on AIM/MSN. Our only request is that you record these RP posts in your journal.
[.03] You must show in-thread activity at least ONCE a month. It doesn't need to be an RP post or anything, you just need to show that you are alive. No emote-only posts allowed, at least try to say 'hi', update us on your life, chit chat with other people or something.
[.04] Your Raevan will be taken away from you if you fail to follow the above 2 rules.
[.05] You have to leave a note or an announcement of your hiatus, and a valid reason too. Either in your signature, journal, PM us, IM us, anything! As long as you got the message across. A warning note will be sent if you are missing in action for a month w/o hiatus notes. We will give you a month to reply, if you don't we will take away your Raevan. I need to stress that I'm very strict at this rule, as I do not like people that's irresponsible towards their Raevans.
[.06] You cannot go on hiatus for more than 6 months. Seriously, school don't happen every single day, moving houses don't take 6 months to do. Public holidays exist, days off of work, lunch breaks etc. Please be reasonable and logical about your hiatus. Please be responsible for your Raevan, since you're the one who wanted one.
[.07] Please stay in character. I know some of you might be disappointed that you couldn't choose your fel essence that may affect your Raevan's personality unless you purchased a custom, but I try to make pre-made fel essences interesting to RP as well. Please bracket your posts with (( )) or [ ] or whatever fancy brackets if you're OOC-ing.
[.08] No God-modding. Every Raevan is unique and have their own special abilities (ie: Fire Raevan can control fire etc.) but please, do not assume your Raevan is all-mighty and kill off other Raevans... you will be grey-listed and receive a warning if you do so... please don't act stupid.
[.09] You will need to do a check-up with Dr.Tsu at least once if you want your Raevan to grow to the next stage. This check-up is compulsory and you can perform it via appointment with Dr.Tsu anytime you want, doesn't neccesarily need to be when your Raevan is about to grow.
[.10] THIS IS STRICT!!! Owners will receive an official warning from us if they haven't shown any signs of in-thread activity for 2 months, or RP activities for 4 months without any prior note about their hiatus. They will be given about a month or so to show some sort of RP activity before we take away their Raevans. AND THIS IS SERIOUS, we really WILL take away your Raevan!! Time allocated for reply period might change due to circumstances, it will be mentioned in the warning PM.
[.11] You MUST bring your Raevan for a check-up with any staff member if you come back from inactivity. Raevans that had been inactive for 3 months period will need to be checked out to ensure no damages have been done from the inactive period. Owners that came back AFTER they receive the warning letter, will be charged 10k gaian gold as check-up fee. All trades please send to the shop mule.
[.12] You will only receive 3 warnings! The 4th time you go into long periods of inactivity without reason again I will have to take your Raevan away without any prior warning. Please, 4 times of inactivity is just too much. Hogging an inactive Raevan for such a long period of time is just not fair for others.
[.13] RP threads shall be locked if inactive for 8 months. This refers to the RP threads created in the Biotics Interaction subforum in the guild. I hope this will encourage people to not leave an RP inactive for too long.
[.14] Shop staff CANNOT go inactive in-thread or in-RP for more than 2 months. This especially applies to RP managers and staff with a Raevan. An official warning will be sent out if this happens, and the staff shall be stripped off of his/her staff position and demoted to a regular owner. And hence will be treated as one from then on. This rule does not apply for Kyou.

[.03] No required growth quest, but you could create your own IC-drama and -hope- your Raevan would grow. Chances are low.

[ Basic Guide to Growth Procedures ]

[ Reports to Dr.Kyou ]

[.01] This is completely optional in the early stages for your Raevan. However, you are required to submit a report to Dr.Kyou as a minimum requirement for your Raevan's growth from Sigel to Valsaros.
[.02] The purpose of this is to encourage RP activity. For people that are clueless of what to do or where to head for their own Raevans. It could also enforce the shop's 'science lab' concept.
[.03] How to submit a report? Post a solo entry in the following format in your journal, notify Kyou about it by sending her a PM on her main account Kyoupiruchi. Kyou will respond to your report in your journal shortly.
[.04] What to write in your report? Problems you are having with your Raevan, problems the Raevan is having. Write about their recent condition, how they were acting, how they changed etc. Show examples of these conditions. It's like writing an official letter or a science project report. Ask Kyou for help or comments.
[.05] Reports must at least be 700 words in length. You can go much more, but cannot be lesser than 700 words. The 700 words only cover the content part of the report, does not cover the report title or any other parts of the report other than the main content.
[.06] Only one report every two months. If you choose to send reports to Kyou frequently, please keep it like that. Kyou also has a real life, need to earn money for a living, and may not be able to respond on time or so frequently to your reports. This rule is to keep Kyou from being flooded with report replies.
[.07] Of course, there will be benefits from doing this. With Kyou's help the Raevan might be able to grow faster, and depending on your Raevan's problems and the suggested remedy, you might be able to get a little something from it. Just think of it as a quest of sorts.

[ RP Guides/Tips ]

[.01] Your need to place the empty soul bottle somewhere near the particular soul that you wanna attract. Some little accesories might help in attracting the soul (ie: place a jar of honey near the soul bottle to attract a bee soul) You might need to wait a few days for the soul to be caught.
[.02] Souls have 'colors' in Kyou's world. You might've noticed that your soul bottle have a small piece of coloured cloth on it, it helps in attracting the same colored soul. (ie: green cloth will attract tree spirits, frogs or green snake's soul, and not fish or rock spirits) So you must tell Kyou beforehand what sort of soul you want to attract so Kyou could customize your bottle for you.
[.03] Hinting or outlining your Raevan's powers in the Frei stage is highly recommended. It is not required, but you could develop their passive skills in the Frei stage. (like Ekundayo being able to influence other people's emotions, or Gage killing plants by being around them)
[.04] Developing a hobby or interesting quirks for your Raevan is highly recommended as well. If the owner or you yourself could have a hobby, why not your Raevan too? Drawing, reading, cooking, it can be anything!
[.05] Developing basic skills like talking, reading and writing is recommended as well. It's not a requirement, and there's no promise if your Raevan do indeed can do those things. (Lazarus can't write very well) But at least there are effort points in trying!

PERSONALITY : Kyou is a nice and easy-going person, although he can be a little densed sometimes. He is also very prone to accidents, once he accidentally spilt water onto someone's pants and caused a very embarrassing moment. He is also a little airy, always looking at things optimistically. If the people in this world were categorized into people that takes advantage of other people, and people that gets taken advantage of, Kyou definitely falls as the latter.

Kyou is also extremely intelligent. When it comes to work, he is more of an obsessive scientist than a mad one. He never talks about his work to anyone, even to Lazarus who is his creation and his personal assistant with his researches. Kyou is obsessed with knowledge, especially knowledge about mythical beasts and alchemy. Give him several books about these topics and he will not leave his room in a while. He is so obsessed with gaining knowledge and creating new ones, that he would even sacrifice sleep and rest for them. There were several occasions where he fell sick from lack of sleep.

Kyou is sexy, but he is quite unaware of this trait of his. However though, he treasures his hair greatly, his dark silky straight black hair that reaches his waist. Always keeping them at optimum condition, although sometimes he would forget to when he's delving into his obsessions - researches.

HISTORY : Since he was young Kyou had been a very smart kid. He was always fascinated with mythical tales and the wonders of science. People were always confused, it seems odd that someone with such scientific knowledge would believe in vile things such as dragons and demons which were considered mythical. But he did, and when he grew up he became scientist. Not just any scientist, but an innovative one that combined the technologies of science with the mythical powers of dark magic and alchemy.

In the duration between his mid-twenties to his early-forties he hid himself in an underground research lab to work on his creations. In this particular period, he managed to summon a demon to the human world and signed a contract with him in order to use certain dark magics and alchemy spells that were considered as forbidden or impossible for normal humans. This is how he got the demon tails and horns, and also the gold eyes. It is also believed that his life span had been shorten in this process, it was part of the deal with the demon. But information of this process of signage was highly confidential and no one really know the details.

Kyou had a partner in his researches though, someone named Jeremiah. Jeremy is an exorcist, but at the same time he is also a black market salesman that sells ingredients used in magical spells. It is with Jeremiah that Kyou had found this particular substance that he named 'Fel Essence' that changed Kyou's life forever. Finding the substance fascinating, he dedicated his entire life to do research on it. After consuming the youth potion that he created himself without knowing the side effects, Kyou regained his youthful self and moved his lab to Gambino Island. He created a new being he called 'Raevan' and that is where his new life began...

OCCUPATION : Medical team of the lab

PERSONALITY : Tsu is a lot more of the cold, calculating type. He is hardly one normally fit to hold position as chief of med staff. Perverted, foul mouthed, short tempered, lazy, and a bordering alcoholic. All in all the product of a lifestyle where looking out for yourself took priority over considering a lot of other people's feelings. Why else would he delegate the reception work to others? Poor Aphismet had that first experience being a little strained when talking to Tsu.

However, there has been a definite learning curve going on. Dealing with people and learning to be more caring has become a high priority with the whole "parenthood" concept looming over his head. The assumption of responsibility has changed Tsu. Depending on the situation, he will become extremely loyal to people he allows to grow close, watching out for their interests, as he would his own.

Tsu is fair looking, neither sexy nor ugly in any sense of the word. He really doesn't care about those things as much as others.

HISTORY : Growing up, Tsu never really had anyone to look up to for inspiration, and so got by on a mediocre performance in studies. He was never particularly book smart, and would usually fall asleep while he was supposed to be studying. Although he lacked certain skills in studying from books, Tsu was skilled in reading people, situations, as well as herbs and alchemy.

Around the time Tsu finally entered the academy, Kyou was studying the advanced materials. The two really met in school and formed a bond as brothers, regardless of the fact there was no blood relation. Tsu had moved towards Kyou as a possible target and easy to free load from, but through sharing some experiences in similar fields, Tsu began to grow true interest for the Raevan project and finally signed onto the lab staff to continue research.

FUN FACTS : - Tsu nearly failed out of the academy once. His poor study habits led to failing marks until the topic of human alchemy as well as classes in biology about the human body. If it weren't for some interesting photos and topics regarding the female chest, Tsu might have had to find a different path.

- His graduation thesis on women's breasts and other research notes he took while in the academy. He managed to defend it and pull off a B+ for the paper.

PERSONALITY : A very nervous person, she's often rushing because she thinks she's late or behind or fretting over making a mistake... which often leads her to making one. She's very accident prone, but this is more often than not brought on because she's rushing too much. Since working at Lab305 her people skills have improved but meeting and communicating with new faces still makes her the most anxious. She's able to relax and calm down a little around some people, but only after getting to know them well.

Chloe is eager to learn and even more eager to please. She has a sweet and innocent nature and tries her best to make sure others are happy.

LIKES : Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, reading, learning to cook, hot cocoa, working at Lab305, meeting and greeting new owners and their Raevens, Julian...

HISTORY : Her biological father left her and her mother when she was born, her mother and step-father died in a boating accident off the coast of the Gambino Isles when she was 17. She lived in a foster home (the same one as Isi) for a short while before going to live with her older half-brother, Cody. She stayed with him for three years after the death of their parents until she was able to afford her own little apartment.

PERSONALITY : Ray is an easy-going and playful person. Sometimes he is shy and nervous to speak to the strangers or need to talk about official/formal things because he is Thai and cannot talk English properly. Ray is kind to everyone who is kind to him, and has strong opinions in what he believes. His words sometimes may sound harsh, but he just speaks his mind. He can be a little storm when he's angry, which hardly happens unless you harass him.

Ray loves to cook a lot. He carefully pays attention to food ingredients and cooking process, and is very happy to see people enjoying his food. Ray likes to try new recipes, which almost happens as soon as he finds new ingredients he never seen before. Although sometimes the outcome maybe a harmful food to eaters, but he just really doesn't know...

Ray pays respect to Dr. Kyou so much, because Dr. Kyou looks SO COOL in his eyes, and also likes his desserts!

Ray is also really addicted to comics and games... he can forget to make food or feed himself if he is reading comics or playing his favorite games...

HISTORY : Ray was raised in Thailand – only to move to a country far away from his home. He lost his parents in a car accident when he was young. While he was an apprentice cook, Ray lived alone in a small rented apartment. Over time, Ray became eager to go over the world to find new ingredients to spice up his cooking. Finally his chance came. Ray was promoted to be real cook and was sent to Gambino Island to serve some high-class patrons.

One day, he saw strange human being - no, not a human since it had horns and wings. Most importantly, it didn’t have legs! Instead there were swirly ribbons like a gymnastic accessory! The guy who walked in front of it, also had horns, pointy ears and… a devil tail?! Due to his curiosity, Ray followed that strange creature and man. He found himself again in building that looked like… a lab. Ray went back to his apartment and searched some information about what he saw. He found out later it was 'Lab305', the owner is Dr. Kyou - the man he saw - and that creature is called 'Raevan'.

Ray remembered he saw cook application near the receptionist's desk. He thought hard for almost a month. His current salary was fair already... but he needed excitement, and that 'Dr. Kyou' was look so cool devil! Not speaking of that 'Raevan'! They were look like existing game characters. He made his decision. He must apply to be Lab305's cook...

She dislikes confrontation and will often distance herself in an aloof manner to avoid any awkardness. Alex is a lover and a fighter, a wild card who is very spontaneous and big-hearted. She's an utter terror around her big brother, but is as solid and dependable as a rock for those who truly need her.

As she was growing up, her parents told her she could be anything: her mother was an artist, her father slightly less altruistic in his work ethic but loyal to his family (she never really knew his profession). Her mother wasn't fond of whatever her father dabbled in, and a divorce was underway before her brother entered college.

Before the divorce was finalized, her father died in an accident on the harbor involving a drunk operating heavy machinery; her mother died a few months thereafter, presumably of heartbreak, medically of an enlarged heart.

Her brother graduated from construction as Alex decided to try and understand humanity a bit better, entering college with the intent of being an anthropologist under her mother's maiden name. She also took a handful of language immersion classes, which she excelled at. Her interest in history and grasp of languages allowed her to delve into the archelogical aspect of her major which turned her onto the arts.

Halfway through her degree, she dropped the subject without explanation and turned to zoology. Alex had apparently found what she wanted, although it was speculated that she dropped the subject because of a certain partner she was working with. She found sense and a decided lack of turmoil in the world of animals, both known and legend, able to empathize with four legged critters much easier than the two legged variety. Alex graduated with honors in her class; she was a very apt pupil and had a knack for her chosen profession, despite her false start. She is often referred to as 'Doctor V' when surrounded by her peers.

She has mysteriously been working with the Gwee for over a year now. Very few know the history of the Gwee and her influence on it, and Alex is fine with that. She is currently studying their oceanic brethren on the Barton Cliffs.

People on the grey list cannot take part in any events to gain a Raevan. However, they could still participate in open RPs to RP. People on the black list are banned from ANY and EVERY activity held by the shop. They are also generally not welcomed in the shop. Post at your own risk, I do not stop flames directed your way. People on the black list cannot be removed. But people on the grey list may be able to redeem themselves by good and matured behaviour from now on.

the reason after.
Seiaeka - for plagiarism, and a failure to accept responsibility for said actions.
Schemilix - Prior record for creating drama in the shop, resulting in Graficcha's greylist, and now just generally insulting the shop and harassing Kyou. Calling the shop and the entire community a 'crapfest'. Think he or she is a genius compared to us, and is always the right one until we decides to shut up, or grow tired of talking with them - in which case they thought they won.
