To the best of my knowledge, no, I don't think so. Unless Jyoti is feeling particularly inclined.

If that is the case, you might want to inform people on the auditioning thread that there may not be art available for the NPCs. Seeing the art on the interest thread was a drawing factor for me (to be completely honest). It would be good advertising for the shop, too.

Not to add to you work load, but its something to consider, especially if you have a high expectation from the NPCs you want to hire. I'm not saying that to whine or because I am personally auditioning, but it also helps give the PCs visual references.

To be honest, I'd figured it was understood. NPCs start at their highest level, they don't need changing pets, and NPC players are the only ones who won't need to buy something before playing. :3 *goes to post something in the audition thread regardless, as per suggestion* whee
