-IMPORTANT NOTICE (CLOSING?)-

Okay so, Tora was working on coloring some pets for a flatsale this month. But something horrible happened. So, I was working on a project and downloaded a song. BUT, after downloading a song (the project was a movie) my computer got really laggy and my internet froze every 5 minutes or so. I had a friend install Vista on my laptop and saved all my photoshop files, music, movies and everything on a USB. But, when I opened the USB, after the installation, it didn't work. ALL the files were corrupted. All 3, almost 4 years of this shop is gone. At the moment, I'm really frustrated, sad and extremely pissed. So, I have no motivation as of now to continue this shop. As of now, the shop is closed.. I'm sorry.

All the pets that I've colored but haven't sold, everything that was sold, the butterfly pets, the FF cosplays, everything.. is gone.. I'll work on bringing everything back in the future. But inking 60+ pieces of lineart.. confused

Far from the port of Gambino, the ocean remained silent for hundreds of years. This area was unknown to Gaians and the only creatures who lived or even passed by the isolated area were seagulls looking for land. Silence.. that was what the Mizu ocean was familiar with. Silence that was broken by nature. As the water shook and the empty ocean growled, the water was split and out emerged an ooze of lava. It covered the ocean floor within minutes. Layers and layers of lava piled on top of the previous dried volcanic mess. Soon after the eruption, an island was formed..

Nana was the first creature to live on Keikoku Isle. Obviously she had parents before that, but when the island was discovered, she was the only one in sight. A lonely Doragon, she was extremely fond of Gaians and other creatures who had came to the island for a 'vacation' or a home. Years ago, this island was inhabited by the few Gaians and animals. It was a home which everyone knew everyone; there was no such thing as a 'stranger'. The population was practically nonexistent.

Shuuraku Village was filled with modern day technology, but the architecture of the buildings made the village's appearance seem traditional and 'old-fashion'. The natural beauty of nature surrounding Shuuraku brought serenity to the people. Keikoku Isle was a paradise. A paradise that was watched over by Nana. An escape from the harshness of city-life and a sanctuary for 'all' the species that inhabited it. It truly was a place to forget all your problems and focus on the everyday blessings of life.. at least for the 'Gaians' it was a paradise.

From the caves of Berugu Mountain, to the distant Keikensei, more and more species were discovered as time passed. Because the Gaians in the village focused on importing food and supplies from the Port of Gambino or from traveling merchants, they never focused on the life of the creatures outside the village. No one ever did notice the low supply of food or the everyday struggle for animals in the wild. The villagers continued to purchase food and such from merchants. Merchants became rich and continued to supply the villagers and neglect the animals. No, they didn't just neglect them, they simply didn't care. The 'animals' couldn't pay them off with money. Nana traveled throughout the land helping those that she could, those that accepted her help without the fear of an alternative motive.

The animals whom were lucky enough to have an owner were supplied with food whenever their owners could afford it. On the other hand, the animals living without human care fought with one another over food and territory. Over population and the lack of resources and the necessities to live caused them to group up and create nomadic clans, wandering, stealing, searching for food, fighting over territory..

"Welcome to Keikoku Isle. ('Keikoku Isle' is the name of the main island.) I, Juui-chan will be your guide to our wonderful island. Don't be afraid to look around. Even though there's not much on this map. This little place has plenty of places to go and plenty of activities to enjoy. Use your imagination!"

Shuuraku Village is on the very left of the map, with the fountain in the center. This small village has shops, hospitals, hotels, and the works. The village was made to resemble old traditional times. It may not look very fancy but the merchandise sold there is definitely up-to-date. Often times, you may see wandering merchants come by the town square. They may be selling rare items (which are only available through roleplay). Below Shuuraku village is the old church and a the great mansion. These two buildings were once associated with Shuuraku, but once the priest left to the church in town and the owner of the mansion passed away, the two buildings just stayed there and became a home to wild animals. The wooden floors in the mansion are rotten and the villagers don't visit the place much, if at all. Next to the church is the ancient graveyard. Because a new church was built in town, this old chuch was left to rot with the graves..

Next to Shuuraku Village is Sumizome Woods. This forest is full of completely black and white trees. Basically, it gives off a living burnt forest appearance. If you're lucky and you're roaming around in Sumizome, you may find elderly trees willing to give you eggs or other items they found (only available through roleplay). Although there may be danger here, its a great place to take your pets to go camping or sightseeing. On the left of Sumizome is Shuuraku River. The river is shallow near the banks but gets deeper a few feet into the water. The river functions mainly like a drinking area and leads into the Berugu Caves. These caves were once a mining area but was abandoned when the townsfolk no longer need to supply their own ores.

Going through the caves or around them will lead you to Berugu Mountain. This odd mountain is mainly made of rocky terrain, but it does have a few areas with plants. And at the very top, there's a nice cozy lodge, Berugu Lodge, Gaians and their pets can stay at. The view outside the lodge is absolutely magnificent. Especially during a full moon. The lodge is currently a resting place. On the left of Berugu Mountain, behind Shuuraku Village you'll find Surudoi Cliff and Hyou Cliff on the right. The Hyou Cliff is larger than Surdoi but isn't as steep. These cliffs also provide a nice view of the horizon and other areas of the island.

Beside Sumizome is Bokusouchi Grasslands. This grassland is extremely dry around summertime but is cool in other seasons. The tall grass makes the area a good place for hide-and-seek games, hiding for smaller animals, or hunting for predators. Next to Sumizome lies the Sumizo Dock. This dock is no longer used, or rarely ever. The Mizu Ocean is clear and sparkles every day and night. When there's a full moon,if you're up at the Berugu Lodge canopy, you might be able to see some amazing creatures swimming in the water. Its common for people to fish in these waters or to sight-see wild Kilaes.

Keikensei is a small island separated from Keikoku Isle. This seperate island is the home to elderly doragons. Because this is the original home of Nana, may fierce creatures live here. In the center of the island lies a monument of Nana. Keikensei is mainly a desert with few oasis. The temperature is always high regardless of the season. Mizu Beach is any coast on any of the islands. These beaches always have clean, 'black' sand. On Keikoku Isle, the Burijji Bridge Leads to Hayashi, another tiny island. Most of this island is Hayashi Forest, also known as the 'mystical forest'. If you wish to adopt or take care of an egg. Anywhere is suitable. But the best place is Hayashi. Due to the warm yet soothing temperatures, many eggs whom have not been adopted yet stay here in Juui's Nursery at the end of the forest. And those who have been adopted and have not yet hatched are welcome to stay. Juui-chan will help you take care of your egg or give you advice if you are new to Keikoku Isle.

Next to Hayashi is Ousenta. This island, like Keikensei is mainly a desert. The Ousenta Desert takes up most of the island. At the edge of Ouesenta, there's Yi Sheng's abandoned laboratory, which has no purpose right now. Behind this desert, you can find the Ousen Mountains. You will rarely find any vegetation in these rocky mountains. Among the Ousen Mountains, Mount Kayamu rests peacefully. Mt. Kayamu is an active volcano, but has not yet erupted. Behind the Ousen Mountains is the Puriheii Plains which serves no purpose right now. The Puriheii Dock is an excellent method to leave or get to this island.

[o1] Direct link. I have to keep the pets for the owners list. So direct link only. Plus, If I take away your pet, its easier to do so than hunting you down to get you to delete it off your own server.
[o2] Images may not leave Gaia. Don't put them on MySpace, Xanga, whatever. Gaia only!! That includes showing them to your friends over the internet or anything like that. If an owner shows it to his/her friend and his/her friend re-distributes it, I'll mostlikely blame the owner. If others who do not own the pets do this, I'll find that person. (I have my sources)
[o3] Don't complain about growth rate. That includes whining to us saying that your pet was supposed to hatch/grow. We have lives outside of Gaia. And they will be grown. We guarantee that. The only exception is if we didn't grow your pet for a month or so and we've been online. There's a growing schedule in the owner's post. But, please, if your pet hasn't grown for only a day or so after his/her original growth day, don't complain. Wait a couple days. We might be having real life issues. D:
[o4] Do not steal or claim or alter anything in this shop. I made all the banners and pets in here. And all the items too. So theft of anything will not be tolerated. That including "altering" the banners or pets. Or stealing my lineart, tracing it or whatever. This is an obvious rule. Thieves will be reported no matter what the reason and blacklisted. You cannot use the banners. I made them myself. You cannot use the dividers. I also made those. >o Redistribution of these is also considered theft. If you send them to your friends and they save it or keep it, then you will be held responsible. Your friend will also be reported for theft. If our art is solen and posted outside of Gaia, you will be in major trouble (we will make sure of that) because ART THEFT IN ANY WAY IS ILLEGAL.
[o5] Type intelligently. Yes, I know we all get lazy eventually an decide to use chat speak. Eventual "lol"s or stuff like that is okay. But please, avoid tYp1n6 LYk3 Th1S. Not only is it annoying, its hard to read and its easier to just type regularly. And please, no large font. When there's alot of people talking, its easy to miss posts. But I read every post in here, so posting in big font to be noticed won't help. Also, when you get angry, even though you may want to express your anger, large font will not help. All it does is annoy others around you. Typing intelligently also includes NOT stretching the page. This is extremely frustrating. D:
[o6] Respect everyone! There are people who annoy you. Always. Even for me. However, insults only make things worse. That means don't call each other stuff such as "n00b" or anything insulting. At all. This also includes bitching about grammar and such.
[o7] Follow all rules in the Gaia ToS. The Gaia rules are meant to help. They are helpful and you should follow them.
[o8] Visit this thread atleast once a week during the growth process of your pet. These pets have a pretty dang long growth period; they can take months to fully grow. But when you purchase a pet, that means you agreed to the requirements of owning one. If you don't visit, your pet WILL be taken and put it in the pound. You will not get a refund. If you can't visit, post in here beforehand and tell me why. I can check if you're lying. If you do NOT visit on the week of his/her growth, your pet will not grow until you visit. The first couple weeks, your pet will not grow until you visit if they are supposed to grow and you haven't visited. If this continues, then your pet will be taken away from you.
[o8] You NEED to feed your pet atleast once a week during his/her growth. The shop used to have a visitation rule, but this makes much more sense. These pets are animals that need food like you or me. To feed your pet, check the guild (The Farm). We will take away any pet that isn't fed by their OWNER and put them in the pound for others to adopt and the owner will not recieve a refund.
[o9] Don't advertise other shops or other threads here! I don't care what it is. Don't do it. Its rude. For affiliation requests, PM me. Advertising includes "Hey come to this thread." or "Check this out" or anything like that. Affiliation asked through the thread will be ignored.
[1o] Don't beg. You demean yourself if you go "please please donate to me!!" and annoy others. This isn't a charity. Its a pet shop. If you consistently beg for a pet, even after you've been warned, you will be grey listed.
[11] Don't make people feel guilty or anything like that. That means don't say stuff such as.. "This is mine! I claimed it!", "Please let me have it. I want it so bad! crying ", "I have so much gold for this. I'm going to get it!" or anything of that sort. This applies to flatsales, raffles, auctions, EVERYTHING.
[12] There are no refunds. Unless I decide to give you a refund myself for MY mistakes or anything else, then there are no refunds. If you want a refund for your pet not growing in time or anything at all, deal with it. Stuff happens. I'll get to it eventually.
[13] No editting posts in auctions and flatsales. I won't grey list you or anything the first time. But after that, its grey listing or black listing.
[14] You may only get one pet from each flatsale. Auctions I will allow you to bid for more than one. However, you must be able to afford it! In both auctions and flatsales you are however, allowed to proxy for others.
[15] Read all rules and prompts. If you don't read the rules and don't follow them, I'll tell you to go back here and read them. RP prompts are given for a reason. So, during RP Events, read the prompt before posting. Breaking any rule can result in minor consequences to getting your ownership revoked.

    -Our Rights-

[o1] We do NOT have to refund for anything unless it is our fault.
[o2] We are able to revoke or give pets for ANY reason.
[o3] We are able to disqualify ANYONE from ANY event regarding Keikoku Isle.
[o4] We are able to change the rules and rights whenever we please, and it is your job as an owner to follow up on them.
[o5] We are able to put anyone on the black, grey or white list for ANY reason.
[o6] We are able to adjust the prices any way we please.
[o7] We are aware of how large the file sizes are but because we don't want to ruin the quality of the image, they do not all fit the signature size requirement. If you want them in a smaller size, save them and rehost them yourself. If you don't have a program that can change the file size (such as photoshop) or need help, just ask Noneko or Tora to help you.

    -Roleplay and Battle System Rules-

[o1] Roleplaying and/or battling is not required.
    [o2] Both may have perks.
[o3] Make an EFFORT to be literate and reasonable.
    [o4] No god-modding.
[o5] You do not decide if you find stuff.
[o6] Since journals are not required, however you set it up is your choice. There's no format you have to follow. Try not to make excessive journals. Do NOT make separate ones for each individual pet unless you have to.
[o7] Follow the battle system steps and don't try to sneak in an attack.
[o8] Like in real life, pet height is measured at their shoulders, not the top of their heads.

    -Clan Rules-
(Clan information in guild under 'Shop Records' Thread.)

o1. Its looked down upon for clan members to mate/breed with other clans (even if this includes inbreeding).
o2. Always support your own clan, regardless of the situation.
o3. To raise your rank, there are a few options. You can either challenge the current alpha to a PvP battle, the clan can solve the situation diplomatically (although this is extremely rare) or any other method depending on the clan's opinions and views.
o4. Try to only enroll one of your pets in a clan. This makes roleplaying easier for yourself. HOWEVER, if you can handle more than one, feel free to do so.
o5. Only adults and higher can be the alpha. No baby alphas ( o - o;; ).
o6. Each area is limited to one clan. If by any chances there's no space, a PvP battle between each alpha is required to decide who gets the territory. The losing clan will have to find a new territory or request another PvP Battle later on.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do we get one? And how much?
-If you're going to ask this, I suggest you re-read or actually read the first page. Well, check the availability post for the methods to get one. In flatsales, everything costs 5k or 5000 gold.

Can we co-own?
-No. Not anymore. Co-owning makes roleplaying difficult.

Can I PM you?
-If you're requesting affiliation, bribes or pet trades, then go ahead. Otherwise, post in the thread! >o The only other exception for PMing us or the shop mule is if one of us tells you to. Ask any and all questions in the thread.

Do we direct link?
-Yes.

Do you accept pet trades?
-Check the staff post for more information on that. If you want a 60k custom from here, we expect a 60k custom in return from yours, a 5k pre-made for a 5k pre-made and so forth.

Can I buy one for a friend or proxy?
-As long as its paid for, yes. Just make sure to tell your friend or whoever you're proxying for, to visit the shop and read the rules. There are consequences for those who don't follow the rules whether they buy the pet themselves or not.

How many can I get?
-There's no limit. [8

Is there an RP thread?
-Not anymore. Just roleplay here or in the guild from now on. Private roleplay is done in the guild, but public roleplay (or anything open for others to join in on) is done in here. Any battles will be in the guild.

Do we have to roleplay?
-Intelligent roleplaying can have its perks. ;D

What happened to the certs?
-When Petco(t) first opened, Tora didn't know how to use photoshop so the certs in the first version were made on paint. Then new certs were made for version 2. In version 3, a battle system and a whole bunch of other stuff was added so the cert was changed again.

So I have an older version of the lineart/cert. How can I change it?
-For lineart or cert updates, post in this thread the name, species, breed and owner of the pet you want to update. Then send the update fee to the mule. (Title the trade!) The fee is 1k per pet and/or 1k for the cert.

What are the main pros and cons of breeding and mating?
-BREEDing has a higher chance of angelic, demonic, or fae offspring if the parents are one of those. Plus, you can get more babies. The cons of breeding is mainly the price and that you can only breed once. But, you can MATE as many times as you want. The price is cheaper but you can only have two babies and there's a lower chance of angelic, demonic or fae babies. Lineart edits will only be passed down ONE generation from breeding only. Babies from mating will not have lineart edits.

I don't like my pet's name anymore. Can I change it?
-The only way your pets name will be changed is if I mess up when I cert him/her. Otherwise, the name your pet has is the name he/she has for life.

I really don't get how the claiming thing in the flatsale works.
-I post the link and you just follow the link there and post "I claim blah blah". And if no one posted for the pet before you, then you wait until the flatsale is over and when I announce the results. Then the people who won post the certing information. ONLY AFTER I ANNOUNCE WINNERS THOUGH. The reason I have claiming now is because when people had to post the inform-ation only, it took up time to refill out the form if you don't get the pet.

What's the active pets thing? And I also don't get the experience or battling.
-Read the Roleplay/Battle System post carefully. The active pets list is baisically the current growth rates for the active pets. To understand this list, you NEED to read the Battle System information.

Where do we battle?
-Guild.

11 April 08 - Okay so, rule 8 has been adjusted. There's no longer a visitation requirement specificly but owners are required to gather food for their pets once a week (check 'The Farm' in the guild for more information). This applies to pets adopted from now on. The growth rate was adjusted again to take a little less time but still pretty long. The baisuume is released and we'll work on trying to get it into a flatsale, hopefully soon. Ferals will be certed with your pet if you have one and more information on them can be found on page one in the battling post. Also, the previews for them are all up and I'll work on the descriptions soon enough. If you guys have any feedback on any changes or anything feel free to tell me either here or in the guild.

11 April 08 - I'm terribly sorry to everyone who had pets that haven't grown yet or was waiting for my return. I got sidetracked by college applications, AP and all that RL stuff. But yeah, I'm working on bringing this place back to life. I didn't want to return empty handed so I got all the feral inking, templates and coloring done. I looked over some of the rules and the setup of this shop and I'll be making more changes to the rules (like the "visiting" thing). I'll be working on the shop front for a while so I'll start talking once I get it done.

23 Aug 07 - Look foward to the Butterfly event which will probably be around October 4th. Why? Because that's Tora and Noneko's birthday. p: Also, the PvP Battle system is now open. The Feral Battles aren't open yet because its not done yet.

29 July 07 - After much thought and hours of talking and fighting, Tora and Noneko have decided to merge Petco(t) and SoRNV into one shop. No, we're not going to make a new thread. We're changing this one around. Petco(t) is going to be renamed for the first time in two years. T - T So the shop is now called Keikoku Isle. There's going to be a new cert which is similar to the current one but also quite different. Expect more lineart changes, another anthro to appear and a bunch of new stuff and actual purposes for the equipable items. Plus, Tora and Noneko have been working really hard for a battle system that'll hopefully be released by the end of August latest. During all these changes, both Noneko and Tora will be busy so consider us on semi-semi-hiatus. Meaning, we'll come back everyday to check up on things and do growths and such. But we probably won't talk much until this gets done. ESPECIALLY Tora.

Announcements from previous months have been moved to the guild.

The pets placed here are the ones that are either not adults yet, or roleplay active. If you find this confusing, read the Battle System post.

Pear Cat // ramenli // Vivian // 09.23.07
Pear Cat // theflyingkitty // Veto // 09.25.07

The above are pets that are currently growing. From now on, the growth chart will be different.

First to second stage requires 42,000 EXP (or three weeks). Second to third stage requires 42,000 EXP (or three weeks). Third to fourth stage requires 56,000 EXP (or four weeks). The elder and anthro stage are not guaranteed. They require owners to be roleplay and/or battle active. It takes 1,000,000 EXP to get to the elder or anthro stages. The experience points your pet has is reset at each stage.

When pets are neglected, meaning that the owner didn't visit every week during his/her growth, they will be put here to be re-sold. Also, if an owner breaks so many rules to a certain extent, their pet(s) will be placed here as well. If you have your pet taken away, you may not get him/her back. He/she was obviously taken away for a reason. You cannot reselect a name or gender. They will be sold at 70% of their sale value.

Current Pets:

None.

Special Events
We will eventually hold random events. =) For instance, every so often, we'll hold a sashai. This is a 2-day festival that I will randomly post pets, and the first person to quote me gets it. Since this is a really rare event, be on the look out for others. Here are the current events:
Every 500 pages
Every 500 pages, we'll do something special. TOra used to give a free pet to the first poster. But that's not fair to some people. You'll have to see what happens every 500 pages. The way you can win can be different or the same. (; You CANNOT just come around when its close to that page. You MUST have been around before that page. All shop rules apply.

Winners for V1 and 2 were taken off.

There are currently 22 species. o: The basic stages are egg, infant, teen and adult. But, a few species have an extra child stage. Approximate growth period between each stage without roleplaying or battling is about 3-4 weeks.

Akuma: These devious creatures originated from an area now known as Shuuraku Village. However, when the village was built, many of them died out. They are naturally wild and hard to tame and can only be purchased in the Shuuraku marketplace. Due to their incredibly light bodies, they are able to leap long distances. An akuma's ear is just extremely long fur which work just like whiskers do on cats. Each one varies in personality but tend to have the same basic attitude towards things. Their quick metabolisms allow them to eat pounds and pounds of food a day. Food can definitely be a problem with them.

Amayii: The second split-hoofed mammal on the island, Amayiis tend to live in rocky areas such as Berugu Mountain. They have a line of long fur trailing from their necks down to the underside of their tails. Although they can often be seen with a snake-like creature around their necks at adulthood, its rare to ever see one before their teenage years. Each amayii has a gem only on their left arm. Similar to deer, they tend to be more shy than other creatures. A normal diet consists of any vegetation from grasses to tumbleweed. The pads on an amayii's front feet are usually rougher than most other species because of its habitat.

    Baisuume:
Because they are rare, their origin on the island is unknown. They rarely hunt for live prey and live more like scavengers. Often found eating leftover human food, garbage, or other animals, Baisuumes have strong immune systems able to digest practically anything. They are slender, bony and have multiple eyes for excellent vision. They usually travel in small packs of or three (unless they're in a clan) and use the sharp, crystal-like spikes on their backs for defense. Baisuumes always look bony regardless of how much they eat. Regardless of their frail appearance, they are strong physically and quite fast.

Daeus: These were previously known as the 'Elephuat' because of its flabby elephant-like ears. The Daeus come from grasslands but can live in any environment as long as plants are available. They have a great difficulty surviving heat and cannot swim very well. When they are born, they have a short stubby tail which grows as time passes. They tips of their tails are fluffed out and needs daily grooming to maintain its soft texture. Daeus are often really friendly and playful. They feed on leaves and bark. This species can be independent but usually like to depend on each other.

Doragon: Although they are fierce in the wild, Doragons are usually neutral-hearted and gentle when tamed correctly. They have large wings which enable them to fly for hours. Unlike the other species, Doragons have a scaly body. Because their faces are so sensitive, throughout time, they have managed to develope a shell-like protection on top of their muzzles. They are unable to breathe fire but can still manage to puff out some smoke. Doragons originated in Keikensei but can sometimes be found in Kayamu, near the volcano. Despite their ferocious appearance, Doragons mainly feed on plants and rarely on any meat substance.

Enzeru: Quiet and unsociable, these nocturnal creatures have always been resistant to living with humans or others. They can be found in Berugu Mountain traveling by themselves. Its rare to see an enzeru with another enzeru unless they have mated or bred. Often times, their offspring are forced to leave at childhood, regardless of gender. They have winged ears and wings on their backs. Enzerus have tough skin which is covered by a short, fuzzy layer of fur that lets them retain heat in harsh winters. Enzerus like to eat meat from prey larger than themselves but can settle for smaller ones if food is low.

Ilkeda: Ilkedas are smart and mysterious creatures. Although it’s quite rare to see these animals in person, there’s plenty areound Bokusouchi. They like to live and hunt with family, usually living in extremely large groups. This animal can be pretty vicious to anyone they're unfamiliar with, and gaining their trust is difficult. But they can be very loyal at times. Ilkedas are 'family' pets. They absolutely adore their family, especially their children. Their diet is usually made up of various fish and underwater plants. Males and females both have about the same size horns on their heads and arms. Females tend to be slightly larger than males and more aggressive.

Kilae: Located on Keikensei shore or any coast on Keikoku Isle, Kilaes can be seen swimming around in Mizu Ocean. They feed off fish, crabs, seaweed and practically anything in the water. Although they are short-tempered, they can be extremely social animals and love to help others. Their problem is that they tend to have hearing problems. They are often mistaken to have fins for ears but actually don't have outward ears. Sunbathing is a must for them to keep their bodies warm. Kilaes cannot breathe under water but are able to stay under water for a while.

Kitsune: In Hayashi, the mischevieus fox-like mammals love to joke and pull pranks on others. They have a long narrow face, a tiny muzzle and a large brush-like tail. Kitsunes tend to purposely provoke others for their own amusement. They're small and can squeeze into tiny areas. The kitsune is a common species in the desert areas. It has large ears and short fur. Kitsunes are not pack animals. They are often solitary; during a female's pregnacy, a male will provide food for her but leaves her to take care of the kits usually in a couple weeks. They eat various fruits, berries and small animals.

Miyabita: An incredibly graceful animal, Miyabitas are each born with a ribbon and two bells tied at the tips. They also have a bell at the tip of their tails that direct their movement and add to their beauty. As they move, the ribbon follows the ringing of the bell at the tip of its tail. Miyabitas are holy mammals that were discovered/originated in the old church outside Shuuraku Village. They have the ability to be loyal to family and friends. One noticeable feature of this species is that females tend to prefer giving birth around shallow waters. Miyabitas eat meats and usually hunt around dawn and dusk because they are diurnal.

Neko: Playful and curious, Nekos are cat-like mammals which are easily tamed and can be taught tricks. They're intelligent creatures who often times, don't act it. They have somewhat large feet and a slim build, but they have long fur and an undercoat which make them seem bulky. Nekos originated in Bokusouchi. Nekos have multiple muscles in their ears that help them with directional hearing. They also walk on their toes, allowing them to walk very precisely. These skilled hunters eat practically any prey smaller than themselves. Although their vision during the day is limited, they have an excellent night vision.

Nekusagi: These are the hybrids of the Neko and Usai. They have a feather-like tail and long, wide ears which give them an acute hearing ability. They're protective and like to live in large groups. They can often be found in Bokusouchi. Males have a muscular build and females tend to have thicker coats. Once bred, a nekusagi would never leave its partner. Both the male and female hunt and watch over their young. The nekusagi is probably one of the most compassionate species. They are highly social and unlike nekos, nekusagis do not have a fondness for settling in high places. Their diest is not strictly meat-based; they have been known to eat few fruits as well.

Nemajiro: Similar to armadillos, the Nemajiro has a shelled back to protect themselves from danger. They have a slender body and its hind legs tend to be slightly longer than their front legs. They are found in Berugu and Keikensei. They like to feed on nuts and grub (bugs). Nemajiros like to dig and live in dens up to a couple feet deep. Its burrows are usually made to fit themselves, unless a female is pregnant (then the burrow will be made to fit the female and her children, but not the spouse). Although they have poor vision, they are able to see just enough to notice predators or anything of the sort.

Paimi: With thick coats, Paimis are suited for the cold weather that most animals would have problems in. They also have an undercoat and glossy fur under their ears. They have three tails, small muzzels and long, muscular bodies. They can be found in the mansion by the old church. Paimis can be pretty reserved around strangers and extremely aggressive around anyone who may show a sign of danger. They are pretty temperamental and bossy. They eat insects and meat. Although they have short, stubby legs, they can run fast if needed.

Petite: Petites are tiny bunnies. They are just like regular bunnies, except they are about the size of a grain of rice. Due to their size, petites are fragile little creatures that need to be watched over (visited). Out of all of the pets, petites are the only animated ones. Meaning, the cost to own one is quite a lot. Currently, they are only sold in flat sales. (Petites are one of the few pets that take 2 weeks to change stages.)

Poire: Probably one of the strangest creatures inhabiting the island, poires are the only animals that start growing from trees. They're the sweet pears. As they age, they can grow up to nine 'tails', eight of which resemble leaves. They are short-haired and have problems surviving harsh winters. They can be found in fruit trees in town. Poires have short, powerful legs that allow them to sprint great distances. They like to live in larger groups to help with hunting purposes, due to their size. They usually hunt at dawn or night and use their leave-like tails to hide them from prey. If there is more than one female poire in a tribe, they will help each other with birth and raising the kits.

Shikakki: Although they have the anatomy of deers, Shikakkis have paws for feet instead of hoofs. They are naturally adventurous and love to hike and climb mountains. With devious personalities, they can be found in Berugu Mountain. Shikakkis like to live in any area where there is cover from predators. They are biters, meaning, they tend to bite strangers or other species other than their own. They eat leaves, shoots, grass and fruits. Trust is something that is extremely hard to gain from this specie, especially because of its devious personality. They are quick to anger and are offended easily.

Tori: Constantly in the air, Toris are small birds who usually travel in large flocks and are rarely seen on the ground. They like to build nests in vines instead of trees or brush. Toris originated in Sumizome but can be found practically anywhere. They're generally aggressive towards Gaians, but are sociale with animals. Because they are slow flyers, Toris tend to hide if any predators are around the area. They steal eggs and chicks from other birds' nests for food. However, they also eat insects and soft fruits. During pregnacy, a male will help the female build a nest but leaves shortly after.

Urufu: One of the smallest but most vicious species on the Island, Urufus dislike contact with Gaians in any and every way. They hunt in small packs for large animals and alone for small animals. Urufus originated in Sumizone and Keikensei. With their thick fur, they can last through harsh weathers and environments. They tend to hunt in forests or deserts. Usually, the instinct to reproduce drives teen and adult wolves away from their birth packs, leading them to seek out mates and territories of their own. A lot of communication among urufus are done through body language rather than vocally.

Usai: With their thick, long coats, Usais look large but are usually extremely light and small. Their front feet are split-hoofed and they have paws as their back feet. Usai tails are said to bring good luck. From their birth, kawas (small nanny-like furrballs) take care of them until their adulthood. Their diets consist of various vegatation and meats. They graze heavily and rapidly for roughly the first half hour of a grazing period (usually in the late afternoon), followed by about half an hour of more selective feeding. When an usai is an adult, the kawas stop providing food for them.

Xotari: Social, compassionate mammals, Xotaris are alway playful and cheerful. They're extremely caring and generous towards each other. Their double tail helps them keep their balance. Xotaris eat meat but can also eat grass and leaves. They originated in Bokusouchi. Xotaris are energetic, curious, and always interested in their surroundings. When they hunt down prey, they eat the meat, organs, bones, skin, feathers, fur..(everything). They are easily entertained and spent most of their lives sleeping and playing.

More information on PvP battles in the guild!

Introduction: Battling, like roleplaying, can speed up your pet's growth rate. Because this can seem complicated, before you go on a question frenzy, please read EVERYTHING. If you have any questions after that, then you can ask. If what you've asked was in here, we'll just tell you to come back and reread. biggrin

Firstly, PvP takes place in the guild. Do NOT have PvP battles in this thread. For more information on PvP battles and the 'how-to's for that, go to the guild's 'PvP Battlegrounds' subforum. Battles against ferals (or wild animals) will be in the 'Wild Battlegrounds' subforum and will only be available when Tora and/or Noneko are present. Both types of battles can give and/or take experience from your pet.

Experience: Losing a battle means your pet loses experience. This does NOT mean that your pet will lose a stage though. This just means that your pet can take longer to grow if you lose enough experience. You cannot go under the experience for your current stage. (ie. Let's say your pet has 42,100 EXP and he loses a battle and is supposed to lose 500 EXP. BUT, since pets grow at 42,000 EXP, he cannot go below that. Which means he only loses 100.) In PvP, your pet can lose 10% EXP off its current stage. In wild battles, your pet loses experience equal to how much the feral can give. (ie. If your pet loses against a fox at the graveyard, he would lose 500 EXP.) Winning a battle in PvP means you gain 20% EXP from the opponent's current stage. And winning a battle against a feral means you gain however much EXP its supposed to give. If you find the experience thing difficult to calculate, just ask Noneko or Tora to calculate it for you.

Now, you might want to know the following: At 42,000 EXP, your pet will grow to the second stage, but since battling is practically impossible at an 'egg' stage, I'd recommend you wait the 3 week hatching period. At 56,000 EXP, your pet will grow to the third stage and at 72,000 EXP, your pet will grow to the fourth and possibly final stage. If you want to try for an elder or anthro, you'll need to get 1,000,000 EXP (one million). What if you don't want to take the time to battle? Well roleplay always has a chance to speed up the growth process. Also, your pet automatically gets 200 EXP per day until the fourth stage; so, without any activity whatsoever, it'll take about 3 months for your pet to grow fully.

Resting Period: With that said, you also have to know that there IS a resting period between each battle. You have to rest or wait 30 minutes between each feral battle. Regardless of which pet you use. There's also a 30 minute wait between each PvP battle. (The wait period doesn't apply to both at the same time. Meaning, if you have a PvP battle, you don't have to wait 30 minutes to try and battle a feral.) If you do not want to wait the 30 minutes, you can buy the golden cherry, which is only usable for ONE resting period.

Health: The starting and default health given to each pet is 150. However, you can increase it. A pettopetto gives your pet an additional 20 HP and advantages also give your pet an additional 10 HP. However, location disadvantages can take away 10 HP. How much health your pet has is located on the cert (except the location advantage/disadvantage, if any).

Pettopettos: Pettopettos not only give 20 HP, but it also gives your pet a 33% chance to do double damage on the first attack and every 4th attack after that (1st, 5th, 9th, 13th, etc.). After each of the moves that applies, just generate a random number 1-3 and if the number is 1, that means the previous attack will do double damage.

Ferals: Ferals are now certed with your pet if you get one. They give your pet the ability to do double the damage every 5 turns (5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, etc.). After each fifth move, generate a number 1 to 2 and if the number is 2, then the previous attack will do double damage.

Items: Items differ. The chart below describes what each items does. Once again, the total amount of health your pet has from items should be on the cert. For abilities, just look at the cert again and look to see if your pet has any necklace equipped.

Species: Each species has its advantages and disadvantages. The following chart shows it all. Areas not listed are neutral areas. The only pet that cannot battle is the petites. They'll get stepped on. DX

Abilities: All abilities are available to each and every pet if they meet the requirements. Be sure to look at this carefully to know which attacks your pet can or cannot use.

Where to Battle: Choosing where to battle is up to you. Just look at the chart below to see the difficulty or each place.

How to Battle (Ferals): First off, ROLEPLAY. Make sure you're roleplaying (we don't want continuous, boring fighting) and currently in an area (ie. Graveyard, Shuuraku Village, etc). Then make sure that Tora and/or Noneko are online and in the thread. Then tell either one of us that you want to battle. When one of us responds and tells you its okay, generate a random number 1-50.
    01 - 08: easy
    09 - 14: medium
    15 - 18: hard
    19 - 20: really hard
    21 - 50: nothing
If nothing appears you still have to wait the 30 minutes before trying again.

Then each of us will generate a random number 1-5 to figure out who attacks first (unless the pet you're using has the rabbit's foot necklace). Tora and Noneko will roleplay as the feral.

Ferals: There are three ways that a feral can act during a battle. It can either fight, heal or run. Whichever action it choses is random.
Specially colored ferals are rare and will only be available in events.

Catching Ferals: Say you don't want to just battle for experience and you want to own a feral. To do this, you need to either beat a certain amount or pay for it. Winning battles to catch them means you have to battle the same species. (ie. To catch a fox you need to fight and win 50 battles against a fox.)
    Levels 01-10: 25 wins
    Levels 11-20: 30 wins
    Levels 21-30: 40 wins
    Levels 31-40: 50 wins
If you don't want to put forth the effort to battle for them, and you still want one, look at the following prices. They do NOT come in different colors. They are expensive because we want to see you earn them. Buying them is a pretty lazy method.
    Levels 01-10: 8,500
    Levels 11-20: 9,000
    Levels 21-30: 9,500
    Levels 31-40: 10,000

Juui's nursery is where all the baby magic begins (and hopefully doesn't end). Roleplay is not required to breed or mate. BUT, it is encouraged. Before mating or breeding, please read carefully so you don't mess up. You cannot breed/mate different species unless you buy the passion fruit. Inbreeding is allowed, although you may chose not to if you're against it. Roleplaying can increase the amount of offspring the roleplay active parents have.

    -Breeding-

To be bred, both parents must be an adult. Gender does matter. (Obviously) Also, each animal may only breed once. So choose carefully. Please talk it over with whomever's owner that you're having your pet breed with before breeding. Each litter will have between two to six offspring. The amount will be random. ^^ Also, the gender will be random too. With these babies, you can keep them, give them to someone, have a roleplay contest, give them back to the shop, or auction them and get 50% of the profit. =) To breed costs 25,000gp.

    Breeding Results:
    demonic + normal = 10% demonic, 90% normal
    angelic + normal = 10% angelic, 90% normal
    fae + normal = 10% fae, 90% normal
demonic + demonic = 90% chance demonic, 10% chance normal
    fae + fae = 90% fae, 10% chance normal
    angelic + angelic = 90% angelic, 10% chance normal
    demonic + fae = 50% chance demonic / fae, 50% chance normal
    demonic + angelic = 50% chance demonic / angelic, 50% chance normal
    fae + angelic = 50% chance angelic / fae, 50% chance normal
Lineart edits will only be passed onto one generation.

    -Mating-

Mating is different from breeding. A pet can mate as many times as he or she wants. Mating CAN happen without owners knowing it. xP Each litter from mating only has two offspring. No more. No less. It costs 9,000. Similar to breeding, the gender will be random. With these babies, you can keep them, give them to someone, have a roleplay contest, give them back to the shop, or auction them and get 50% of the profit. =] A pet CAN continue to mate after a breeding.

    Mating Results:
    demonic + normal = normal
    angelic + normal = normal
    fae + normal = normal
demonic + demonic = 20% chance demonic, 80% chance normal
fae + fae = 20% chance fae, 80% chance normal
angelic + angelic = 20% chance angelic, 80% chance normal
    demonic + fae = 10% chance demonic / fae, 90% chance normal
    demonic + angelic = 10% chance demonic / angelic, 90% chance normal
    fae + angelic = 10% chance angelic / fae, 90% chance normal

When ordering a custom, you decide exactly what you want it be like. Every detail. If you're not descriptive enough, your pet might not come out like you want it to be. Here are some color choices, its better to use specific HEX colors with customs because the "red" on my computer may be darker or lighter than what you consider red; that applies to all colors (even black). If you know more, feel free to use them. Using HEX numbers for colors will probably be better than giving color names. Customs include all stages.

These cannot breed or mate or grow (besides bag to animal) for now, and probably forever. They will only be sold in events or given out as gifts. You may purchase one for a friend only in events. You may NOT buy one for yourself. And the use of a mule account to buy yourself one will get you grey-listed. >:[ When buying one for a friend, you can also buy them Milk Project Points (MPP) which cost 50 gold each. To equip your MP Pet, you need these points. You may NOT buy MPP for yourself. MP Pets are meant for gifts. It is NOT required to visit the shop to own a MP.

Birthday: Oct. 4th, 1990
Likes: Stuff. Nothing in particular. Wonderful art. <3
Dislikes: Biatches (:
Occupation: Shop Owner, Colorist, Lineartist, , Inker, Certist, RP manager, basically everything. 8'D
Items Tora REALLY wants ( Good for bribes. ;D ): Devil tail, halo, panda hat, grizzly hat, angelic sash

For pet trades, please be specific about what you want to trade for what. If you got a pet from me from a pet trade, you don't have to visit the shop. Don't be afraid to ask if the spots are open. (; I DO decline requests sometimes. If I don't respond in a week, don't PM again. It probably means no. I don't like RP-mandatory pets. Its not fun if you're forced to RP in order to get to the final stage or to breed or grow. If you wish to trade me for an RP-mandatory pet. Please make an exception for me. Also, I don't like anthro/humanoid pets, but there are some that I want.I like pixel pets sometimes, but I most likely won't accept pet trades for pets made on paint. There ARE always exceptions though. Point is, don't be afraid to ask. You've got nothing to lose. ;3
IMPORTANT!:I'm no longer going to allow people to request a trade of a normal pet for an elder here. If you want an elder, I would like an elder in return from your shop. An angelic for angelic and so on. Also, from now on, if you request the trade, I require that I receive your side of the deal first. If I request the trade, I'll send my part first.

Completed Pet Trades:
-Custom Equus from Little Lavas for custom Doragon (Silencer Wolf)
-Custom Kitsune from Kitsune no Yume for custom Neko (Blue Berry Muffin)
-Custom Velocifalcon from Velocifalcons for pre-made Doragon (Blade Kuroda)

PM the shop mule (juui-chan) to be affiliates. You must add me as well if you want me to add you. I'm very strict about affiliation. I'll affiliate practically any shop that asks correctly. (The only exception is if your shop is poorly organized or needs some work..) You don't have to do anything but link me back to be affiliates. If you don't and you ask to be affiliates, I'll remove you and probably never add you again. So, just link back. Simple as that.

I remake large banners for shops (eventually) to keep my affiliates list organized, so please don't send me large banners if you don't want me to make you a new one. 88x31 please (Also accepting 200x40). (:
