General Rules
[1] Follow all Gaia rules / ToS.
[2] No flaming / discouraging other people in the thread. If you must speak with someone about their behavior, send it in a PM. We don't want any drama here.
[3] Send PMs to this shop mule, Jokoa`, only!
[4] Don't steal the art or claim it is yours. The lineart was drawn by DawnieChan, not you. She is the only one who can say she drew it... as she's the only one that did. ^^
[5] All staff members have a life outside of Gaia. Do not become angry if something seems to be "taking too long." You should probably understand by now that stuff happens.
[6] Please keep advertising limited to your sig. If someone asks you where you got a certain pet or something, posting a link to that shop is fine. Just don't over do it.
[7] Payment is due in 24 hours. If payment is not received, your pet will be resold.
[8] No refunds unless a job cannot be completed by the colorist.
[9] You are allowed to give your pet to a friend, but selling it is against the rules. Selling pets from a breeding is also not allowed. See page 2 for more information on how to deal with breeding pets.
[10] Don't ask someone for their pet, to co-own their pet, or a box from a breeding.
Flatsale Procedure
Flatsales will normally be held one of two ways: speed-flatsale or "flaffle." You may only win ONE pet in a flatsale, no matter the type of flatsale or if it is through proxy.
Speed flatsales are run traditionally. You will be given instructions on what you should post and when you should post. This mule or another staff member will post "GO" in large bold red. At that point you may then request a flatsale pet. If you are one of the first people to post, you will get a new pet. Any posts before the "GO" post will be disregarded and most likely disqualify you from that flatsale.
"Flaffles" are run like combined flatsale-raffles. For a specified period of time users will be allowed to claim tickets. At the end of that time period, a full list of all participants will be listed. Then the random number generator will be used to decide the winners, So, if ten people participate, a random number from 1 - 10 will be chosen. If the same number is chosen more than once, we will rechoose a number. The order the winners are chosen in is the order that they will get to chose a pet.
Flatsale Rules
[~] Prices in flatsale pets may vary. They will usually cost around 5K.
[~] Payment is due within 24 hours.
[~] You may proxy for ONE person who has shown interest in the shop beforehand.
[~] No guilt tripping winners, no being a sore loser.
[~] You may only win ONE pet per flatsale event.
[~] If you are proxying for someone else, you either must chose a pet for them or have a proxy list ready at the time of participating.
[~] These may be co-owned between 2 people if desired.
Raffle Procedure
All planned raffles will occur in the Jokoa` Sales Thread.
Raffles are run traditionally. Interested users buy tickets and are assigned numbers. At the end of that time the ticket numbers are then randomized to determine winners.
Raffle Rules:
[~] Tickets cost 100g each.
[~] Items will be valued at 90% of the tektek daily value.
[~] You CAN win more than one pet/prize via the same raffle. You CANNOT win two pets/prizes in a row. So, for example, if while rolling, you're rolled once, and then the next roll you're chosen again, that will be rerolled. But if you're rolled once, then someone else is rolled, then you're rolled again that roll is kept as valid.
[~] If the same number is rolled as a previous turn the choice will be rerolled. [Like in a real raffle. They take the ticket out.]
[~] Don't be a sore loser, don't guilt trip someone.
[~] Any trade that is unfinished in 24 hours will get you greylisted, and, if you won something, your pet will be taken away and reraffled. [If you warn us that you will be away or may not be online, this is not a problem]
[~] If you do not come in and claim a prize within 48 hours of your name being rolled [again, special circumstances will be excused] then your name is put at the end of the list. Gotta be attentive, guys!
[~] These may be co-owned between two people, if desired.
Auction Procedure
Auctions really are a no brainer. Bid money that you have on a pet that you like. If you have the highest bid at the end then you win! Auctions close at the specified time [or at the time the snipe guard pushes it to] whether or not a staff member is present to close them.
Auction Rules
[~] Only bid what you have!
[~] Don't retract bids. It's not nice. >O
[~] There will always be a snipe guard in effect unless specified. Snipe guard is usually 30 minutes. Any bid made within 30 minutes of the end of the auction will extend the auction for 30 extra minutes from the end time. For example, if the auction is supposed to end at 9:00, and you place a bid at 8:47, the auction will be extended to 9:30.
[~] Want to bid items? Items will be taken at 90% the tektek value at that time. An item retains that value for the duration of that auction.
[~] 24 hour rule! Payment must be received within 24 hours or your pet will go to the second highest bidder.
