If something comes out of it, fantastic, if not, oh well - but it's pointless to get defensive, or negative, about whether or not people are posting links or making proposals.
If it's pointless to get negative, defensive, angry, or anything else other than happy, how is that a true expression of opinion? Why is being happy the only thing allowed? That seems a little biased. If you want to make a proposal for an entirely new shop, you should just go ahead and make a B/C interest thread, and get the groundwork going yourself. That is what all other B/C shops do when they are new.

I really disagree. The minute you take a character from this shop to put into another one, you have problems. If you wanted to take say, Seth Callaghan, from this shop and place into your new one, what then? Are all his memories moot? Point is, if you take a pre existing chara into a new shop, its going to remember the other place, and reference would be made to other place. That in itself is deritive.
Its just much easier for you to begin anew with your own idea. You won't get into any hot water from this shop's creators, or the mods.
