. About Roleplaying .
♠ While Hytes are usually RP-optional, as these are RP event Hytes, they will be RP-enforced
♠ In HyTech’s case, RP-enforced is a very flexible term: we will generally give you one task to fulfil for each stage progression.
The first progression will be the set-up of a simple cert thread/RP journal, and thereafter…well. You can peruse this thread for an example…
♠ Evolution will thus depend on both the normal amount of time taken for a Hyte to evolve and fulfillment of the developments,

. TERMS AND CONDITIONS .

Rehoming - If the Hyte is not yet an adult but the owner seems to have disappeared, HyTech is usually quite forgiving for up to approximately half a year, but if no contact is forthcoming and everything falls into a state of impending extinction, don't be too surprised if Social Services comes around and decides to rehome one's Hyte…

Return Policy - If the owner tires of the pet, HyTech will accept a return and rehome the pet at reduced prices. While we do not perform exchanges, a previous owner may still purchase other pets in the future.

Speaking in Terms of Reality - While the owner owns the character of the pet and may display the images and certs at will, the art and character design itself is still property of HyTech, and must be credited as such. The artist reserves the right to display or use the artwork and pursue other avenues with the design. All better-sized images are accompanied by a background logo for our image protection - owners may request unmarked versions for the cert threads. Thank you for your understanding!

In tribute to the oft-dyslexic inebriation caused by overconsumption of alcohol, most C*cktail names are derived from anagrams of their original cocktail monikers.

The entire anagram is taken as the full name on the cert, with a choice word or two - such as East or Sin - bolded to denote the casual name in daily usage.

There are three ways to arrive at a name for a C*cktail:

1. Visiting the Internet Anagram Server

One can either generate anagrams point-blank - do remember to adjust the number of anagrams generated on the advanced search page - or cut down on scrolling by first opting for the 'candidate word list', an option near the bottom of advanced search. It will give you words that could possibly be derived from the original term, which can then be used to try out anagrams structured around it.

2. Rearranging the letters yourself to form non-word names. The anagrams derived do not have to make sense - they just have to look as pretty as you want them to.

3. In the case that a C*cktail has a nigh-unanagrammable name, discuss the possibility of giving it a name that resembles the others derived from our usual naming conventions with Maxwell. In other words - you may fake an anagram phrase or word.

Is he Bruce? Is he the incarnation of an Arkham inmate who believes he's Batman? Or is he merely the bio-organic product of a pair of overly geeky mad scientist petshop owners? Who knows? Good name though, Bruce…

What about Ivy?
She's a tiny psycho femme fatale who looks and acts a lot like Ivy… Okay, let's be honest. These guys, the Bat and the Ivy, they're pretty much the closest we ever get to self-motivated cosplay pets…but that doesn't mean you have to think of them like that? ^^;;

A Halloween event? I thought you were dead!
Yeah, we didn't know we were going to do it either until we sat down last Friday and drew and coloured everything in a night. Well - to be fair we knew we were going to do a vampire bat for Halloween from two years back…and we realised that with the hype the game release has generated, this was really going to be our only chance to do a topical Arkham Asylum event.

…Come on!

This raffle system seems kind of complicated, a waste of your time, and a waste of my money.
It is all three…but it just didn't seem right to give Batman a vampire bat away in a regular raffle! Titan serum darts! The antidote! It all makes so much sense! WE'RE GEEKS. WE'RE MASSIVE GEEKS.

Sorry about your money though - to be very honest, we're actually really dying in college, and had to price the Candygrams up to cut down. Although inflation has been horrible lately, hasn't it? It's especially silly since we've calculated an opportunity cost of about 80% for us using this method in comparison to a regular raffle. BUT. TITAN SERUM DARTS!
