OH, OH, HEY. You know what Robin Williams movie is unexpected but totally amazing? Jakob the Liar. It's a Holocaust-era historical drama and seriously one of the best movies about that time period that I have seen.

You've seen it? So I'm not the only one! Yessss!

I had to take mandatory Holocaust education every year of Elementary and Middle School, and then it got shoved down my throat again in 9th grade, which I know is a sort of insensitive thing to say since I'm the token Jewgirl, but there's a certain point where if you hear any more about a certain subject you're going to barf.

I did read a piece of Holocaust-era fiction I really enjoyed recently, though. The Book Thief. smile
