xd Later Phoo!

Hmm, if you really wanted to do the 1 hour prompts, you could have like...5 different times for them to start over the span of a couple of days, so that people could find some time to be online during those time slots, and just say "Go" and make 5 different prompts, one for each time slot.
That could work too
my goodness, i see lots of shop names floating around. how many consistent shops are there, would you hazard a guess? like, those that keep going for longer than a month or two? (or however long you think is a good limit, i don't know much about these sorts of things) surprised

*chuckles and looks at my subscribed list* Lots. Trust me, you hang around here long enough you realize that. It's all about where you choose to hang out though seriously.
hey if shane is back in school does that mean he can make songs again.
I remember one-hour flatsales. Actually, I remember thirty minute flatsales in some shops, and those were mind-numbingly difficult to scribble down and post before the clock shifted and time ran out. I've always had an aversion to clocked things because I'm actually not an effective, fast typer (or writer for that matter - damn you SAT Essays! DX), but I can honestly say that they were pretty invigorating. They definitely get your mind to start churning, or get you to start swearing at your clock or computer screen for stressing you out. Good memories. Good memories - and probably some of the most fun prompt responses to look back on. O:

And I do the same thing with my FS entries. I usually just click submit and send it to whoever wanted to read it just for the hell of it. XD It feels more spontaneous and fun to just click the button and see what happens afterward. And ... I usually get the same sort of advice. "IEE - go shorten that now! D<" "But it's important for developmeeeeent?" "No it isn't - you're talking about a bundle of sticks on the floor - didn't you whine about Tolkin doing that?" "No - that was a rock - these are sticks! They're different D<" lol Still working on the whole "don't write the wall of text" thing. And I'm doing it now. Agh. Alright. Calling time - Iee needs to calm down. D:
Hahaha XD I used to have that problem too. But now I have this short sentence flow to writing O_o I jes like to put periods everywheeeere! Dx

I can when I'm in the library like I am right now umbra and I take time to sign out a recording lab here -nodnod- It's too late in the day for me to sanely write a piece, but remind me sometime on a Thursday or Friday and I'll see what I can do.

xd Iee, your writing isn't bad though ^^ Tolkien style writing is brilliant for serious fantasy writing, it just doesn't work well for things like Gaia when people have to interact with multiple posts. If it was a book you were writing though it'd be gorgeous writing to be sure 3nodding I wish I had that spur of writing long stuff so that I could sit down and write a good fantasy novel.
Ha, ha. It's a difficult habit to get your bearings on. x] I've gotten better, but I slip up sometimes and lose myself to it. But we all abuse some things, right? I abuse commas like you wouldn't believe sometimes.

Edit:

Tolkin always drove me nuts. Never could finish reading LotR. D: He was very talented, though. I always have given him kudos for having some amazing imagery skills. But you have a good point. He was an amazing fantasy novelist / world-builder.

o__o -bathes you in love for being German and Irish- My [current] two favourite peoples~! gonk heart

So I'm part of favourite people wohooooooooo. I'm just plain boring German, but usually nobody's proud of it around here...you know...second world war stuff....
*Waves to lena* Gotta be something you can be proud of though.

You'd be surprised how many shops make it past their first year. High infant mortality rate, yus, but considering how many are started each year a lot survive to some degree.

My dad read me Tolkien when I was about seven, but I've never been able to go back and read them all the way through on my own. I think he made cuts to make them more exciting. sweatdrop
I can read (and enjoy) all Tolkein except for the Simerilian really.
