We are hiring for the 'item' shop. These are trinkets, plushies, and a few other things discussed later. We will pay you for the line art + cell shading.

We're also looking for people to help add more Pals (one stage familiars) to the shop. You can check out the front page for an idea of what is needed (as the lines there have all been lost.), or feel free to submit new ideas for pals. We need the line art + cell shading/highlights. We also give points for setting up your zasshi (and it shows us you're being active.) Please keep in mind that these are roleplay active pets. Gogo Points are now required for your Gogo to grow. Please keep this in mind.

Yoku irasshaimashita! I am Itamae Chan and I'll be your hostess for the day. Please feel free to come in and make yourself comfortable. We have a wonderful selection of sushi dishes for you to choose from but that's not all, we also serve lunch, dinner, and desert platters. Here is our menu, please order whatever you like but be aware of our special menu items, unfortunately these items are not meant to be eaten. Sorry but I cannot tell you the details just yet, you'll have to find out for yourself.

Please have a seat at our sushi bar and look over all the delicious sushi creations we have on display. If there is anything specific you wish to order, simply ask any of our wait staff present on the floor and they will get your order to the chef personally. We hope you're stay here will be comfortable and friendly. Our specially designed interior was made with you in mind. With plush seats, colorful atmosphere, and cool air condition for those summer heat waves, GoGo Sushi is ready to take on the world.

We offer Wi-fi services for those of you on the go. Enjoy your lunch in between work or play, hold meetings outside on our patio deck or call ahead to reserve one of our tatami rooms. We offer birthday specials and wedding discounts for those of you looking for an interesting change of pace. And what is GoGo Sushi without a catering service? Simply call ahead with your event information, date and time of event, address or residence, and menu order. We'll send out our catering services to get your items to you and set up before the event begins.

Trying sushi for the first time? Not a problem... we give out free samples on the house. Simply take a seat at our sushi bar and let our wait staff know you're a first timer. Common Rules

Please follow Gaia Terms of Services.
Follow all shop rules and guidelines they are here to help you.
Be respectful to shop staff. We like a stress free, drama free working environment so please be nice.
This is a casual literate shop. Meaning you don't have to write a novel but we expect basic English and proper grammar and spelling.
Do not steal or edit the art in this shop. You will be reported and immediately banned from this shop.
Activity in the gogo includes stopping by the shop, participating in the rp in the shop or guild, setting up your zasshi (journal), and at least one journal post a month. If you have to go on hiatus, please pm the mule as such. However, if you're seen being active in other places, but 'hiatus' in the gogo...we will look into it.
After four months of no activity, you will receive a warning. After a total of six months (consecutive, not after the four months), your gogo will be taken and rehomed. You will be put on the gray list for six months and unable to obtain a gogo during that time. There are no refunds. If you feel you can not keep up with the rp for your gogo, you may give it up. Just pm Itamae-chan with your reasons. You do not get to choose the new owner, and will be on the gray list for three months. During this time you may not obtain a new gogo, and there is still no refund. Please make the decision wisely.
You may own a max of two Gogo at one time, provided your first one is a teen. The exception is for owners with twins on the teen stage. After they hit adult stage you may acquire another GoGo from events.

The GoGo

You will receive a (4) four-part evolution pet: food-stage, ferment (blob-form), teen-stage (tall as chopsticks), and adult-stage (human form)
On average pets will take up to five months to reach their final stage. Give or take activity and points. Each stage is a unique piece of art.
Flatsale price is 20k (20,000g) for each GoGo. You may only apply for one at a time for each event.
Co-owning is not allowed for these pets. However you may gift a GoGo to a friend through breeding, auction or raffle only!
All GoGo are seiiku ready (breedable) - they must reach final stage to apply for seiiku. Please refer too seiiku for more info.

Roleplay

Roleplay is required to keep your GoGo - however - we are fairly lenient. Roleplay in the guild or in the shop once a week isn't that hard. If you rp via instant messages or pm's, one of the persons involved needs to record it in their zasshi.
You may RP at your leisure, as long as we see you at least once a week - keep in mind GoGo Sushi does not have a major plotline. We generally follow Gaia's main plot structure.
You may delay your GoGo's growth if you prefer to interact in lower stages for RP purposes, just PM Itamae-chan with details.
Without delay we will grow your GoGo based on activityand points. Points are now required for growth.
Breeding is made available through adult stages only. We require minor RP, activity and points for eligibility.

Flat Sale

All flat sales will be hosted in a separate thread as a prompt based/storytelling event.
Be sure to submit all entries on time to: Cocoa_Sashimi. Remember all dates and times are final!
Be creative when submitting your entries, we are looking for quality over quantity.
You may try for as many Gogo available but you are only allowed to win one.
BE ACTIVE! Your activity in the shop shows us your interested. It also counts overall toward a final decision if we come to a draw in judging.
Be courteous and respectful to shop staff and thread-goers. You're behavior in the thread will reflect on judging.
We do not provide payment plans, for this reason, we ask that you have the gold set aside before submitting entry.
You will have 24 hours to send trade upon announcement of your winnings. If your trade is not sent prior to this time you forfeit your winnings and we will contact the runner up.
Flat sales are for new caretakers preferably there will be an announcement stating if previous caretakers can participate.

Auction

Please bid what you have and pay what you owe upon completion of the auction.
Please send trade to Itamae-chan promptly after auction is closed within 24 hours. If we receive no response by that time the runner up will be contacted.
We do not tolerate bragging or whining. If you lack any form of decorum then we will remove you from the auction.
You may bid pure and rare items. Be advised that you may be asked to liquidate your bid at some point.
Caretakers may participate in auctions provided that one or all of their current Gogo are in teen stages.

Nani kore? It appears you ordered a special menu item! If this is so, we advise you not to eat it. Why, you may ask? Well it's simple, that product is no longer edible... well technically anyway. You have just ordered an item that will become a living breathing creature.

You may wonder how that's possible. We are still trying to figure that out ourselves but for the most part, our special sushi rice is fortified with a substance that tends to animate our food. No it's nothing like the Animated floating around Gaia but it does work in a similar fashion, nonetheless. Your order will evolve, fermenting into a tiny cute little blob creature we like to call a GoGo. The more you care for it the better the outcome as the little ferment evolves once more he/she will grow into a strapping teen. Well... not a full grown teen more like a pint sized teen to be exact. Taking on human characteristics, your GoGo will be no taller than a pair of chopsticks.

We recommend you keep up with your GoGo's growth as they continue to evolve. Most of the time they tend to grow into a full grown human sized adult. Holding some of their base characteristics from when they were so small, they have grown into quite a sight. Of course they can't reach such a stage without the aid of their caretaker (that's you). Though our facility is a resturant we do provide some helpful services in aiding your GoGo's upbringing and their health; after all they are quite the mascots for the shop. Many come from all over Gaia just to talk with the little guys and many more mingle in hopes of acquiring a cute GoGo of their own. So stick around and make friends you never know when a chef may gift you with one of their newest culinary confections.

+ What are GoGo?

GoGo are special creatures that are formed from various kinds of sushi using a special brand of sushi rice. They don't just apply to sushi but many forms of Japanese cuisine are also effected as are some Western, Korean, Chinese and Thai foods, beverages, snacks and deserts. They form into a little blob creature, from there it forms into a small humanoid creature no taller than chopsticks but holding the youthfulness of a teenage human. They reach their final stages in many forms from being a human to a mix of fox, rabbit or even a fish. So far most adult GoGo have become human in size and appearance.

+ What is GoGo rice?

GoGo rice is a special brand used to help the GoGo transform from stage to stage. It is unknown of what substance has fortified the rice in such a magical way but there is a possible connection with the rising Animated roaming Gaia along with how the rice seems to animate food. Itamae has used this rice for many years, her supplier from an overseas source which ships it in via the Port of Gambino. She often goes into town to visit the market and other vendors before picking up the special rice.

+ Growth of a GoGo

S T A G E . O N E - f o o d - Your GoGo will start out their life as an inanimate food product (i.e dessert, lunch or beverage). They are animated by our special Gogo rice which makes them very vulnerable. When you take your GoGo home be sure to leave them out to ferment. Don't worry it's all part of their development. Requirements: 3 gg points (approx. 1 week) to next stage.
S T A G E . T W O - f e r m e n t / f o o d - b l o b - It grew... but into what? We don't know, but it sure is cute. The ferment is still about the size of sushi, only a few inches tall, and is still very eatable, so it still needs your protection. It is starting to show some features and personality... but it's still got a lot of growing up to do. With the mindset of a toddler or child they want to learn a lot about the world around them. Be mindful of common dangers around the house. Requirements: 20 gg points (approx. 4 weeks) to next stage
S T A G E . T H R E E - g o g o . t e e n - Finally! They look a bit more human... though they're still no bigger than a set of chopsticks. Don't worry, at this point they can't be eaten, and they can become a little more independent. With the mindset of a teenager they are a little more rambunctious and anxious to get around. They'll still ask a lot of questions and remain quite curious of their surroundings but they have a presence of mind to act more adult-like. While they may be small they will want to do a lot of big things on their own, be mindful of what they do but try to let them learn through trial and error. House pets may be a possible threat if your GoGo doesn't get along with them but otherwise they make a wonderful means of transportation. Requirements: 150 gg points (approx. ??? time) to next stage
S T A G E. F O U R - g o g o . a d u l t - After doing a whole lot of growing, your GoGo can now become an adult. But just what does an adult entail? That is up to your GoGo and you. Will they become a full fledged human? Will they turn into some beautiful creature? Will they just be a lot more grown up? The choices are endless, and only you can decide. Don't forget that now being an adult means producing offspring. If your GoGo is interested in creating a family then you may want to look into seiiku options. (see seiiku for more info)

+ What are GoGo points?

Gogo points are unique to this shop in that they allow you to purchase various shop items, pals and with enough accumulation you can even grow your gogo.
Non-caretakers could accumulate points toward the purchase of their own Gogo. It is required that you have a recipe book on hand in the guild. This will make it easier to document the points accumulated and with time and much participation you may be rewarded!

+ How are they accumulated?

To accumulate points you'll need to be active throughout the shop. There are physical ways of earning points daily as well as earning them for good deeds, via shop staff or winning shop credit in events and games.

+ Earning points

Activity- By being regularly active in the shop this shows us that you are dedicated. You'll likely be the first to hear of upcoming events and news, along with this you may be the first to snag points given out by staff when the shop has less traffic. We say activity is the best because you'll know before others what is going on and where to get the points.
Zasshi - for setting up your zasshi (journal), you'll receive 2 points. We'll set the first post up for you, then the rest is up to you. A full set up journal consists of actual journal posts, not a lot of reserved posts. For every journal post that is not an rp document, but an actual journal entry for the gogo, you'll receive one point.

Good Examples: Philadelphia's Zasshi, Salmon's Zasshi, Sakura's Zasshi

Bad Examples (no offense guys): Richard's Zasshi, Honey Dew Mellon's Zasshi, Kobe Beef's Zasshi
Roleplay - Every RP that is completed you can gain points based on the number of pages you complete. For every page in the thread you get 1 point, for completing an RP you receive a total of 3 points. Both you and your partner(s) will acquire the same points for that RP but it must be completed. All completed RP must also be documented in your zasshi for weekly updates. Any RP not documented will not count and will have to count toward the next update week. (RP done through IM can also be documented so long as you post it in your zasshi, however the 1 point a page will not be documented this way, only 3 points for the completed entry).

***** Non-caretakers are allowed to RP as well, you will receive points but will have to have your own recipe book in order to document these points.
Good Deeds - By helping out around the shop, staff might reward you with points depending on your helpfulness. You may also be asked by shop staff to do specific tasks that will in turn reward you with points as well.
Games - There may be random games that the staff may set up just for fun. These games could also net you some well deserved points. There will be announcements in the guild or in the shop with possible games that may be played in the future. Bingo or tick-tack-toe, etc...
Events - During events, caretakers who are unable to participate for a Gogo can accumulate points through advertisement, being informational to new patrons or just bumping the thread to keep it actively visible in the forums. Non-caretakers or soon-to-be caretakers may also participate in accumulating points through these methods thought they will be limited.

** To view the amount of points you accumulated please view our Account Ledger located in the guild. If you're points do not add up please use this thread to verify; providing links and documentation. We'll update on a bi-weekly to monthly status.

+ What is seiiku?

Seiiku is a Japanese terming meaning growth, breeding or to raise". In this case it is the breeding process of which one or two Gogo become parents

+ How do GoGo perform seiiku?

Although Gogo in their final stage are able to have relationship similarly to humans, they cannot reproduce in the way that humans do. After all they are nothing more than food come to life. This does not mean they do not fall in love and form relationships in the process, quite the contrary, Gogo are inclined to reproduce and branch off to start a family of their very own, its just a matter of how which even now, our dear shop hostess Itamae has yet to figure out... but... it can be done.
Nevermind the vagueness, Gogo are able to reproduce and start a family of their own. In order to do this, the parent(s) will have to talk with respective chefs helping them to create a confection of which GoGo Sushi has yet to indulge.
Seiiku is performed by taking the major ingredients from each parent and adding them with the ingredients a chef has on hand to make a Bento lunch combo. This combo will come in three sizes, A, B, or C. Combo A represent one possible baby, Comb B representing two babies, and Combo C representing three babies. Combos are picked randomly by the chefs through a randomizer so everything will be by chance.
Babies will come in a Bento lunch box, each box is design the same to lessen the work load on chefs. For the first week (give or take) you're bento will remain closed allowing the baby inside to develop thoroughly. After the baby has developed within a week (or two) they will emerge from the bento with all their happy ferment glory. The bento will remain as part of the ferment stage but once they grow to teen the bento will be removed from the background.
After a few more weeks to a month, your ferment should now be a full grown teen. Though like all teens no bigger then a set of chopsticks. This stage you'll notice their likeness to their parent(s). Based around their cloths, hair, eyes and their outward personality and such. Of course they will be a mixture of their parent taking on their very own uniqueness. You're Gogo will continue to his or her adult stage from here where they may want to start a family of their own and so forth.

+ When is seiiku available?

Slots are opened based on the chef's availability in The Kitchen. (At this time the kitchen is closed for repairs).
After checking available slots, please contact the chef individually with quotes and ideas for your batch.
If approved for breeding please send trade to respective chefs; prices will vary based on chef preference.
Seiiku is conducted randomly, meaning you will only provide basic ingredients leaving the rest to the chef. Like reality nature works in strange ways and so will our chefs.
If you win Combo B or Combo C you'll be required to gift them to a friend or return them to the shop for events. Keep in mind the two Gogo per person rule. Of course we assume one Gogo is already an adult therefore you may keep one baby.

Pals are basically a companion for your GoGo. They will follow them everywhere they go and obey them... usually. We'd rather not call them pets since few are animals, but that is basically what they are. Is your GoGo a little lonely at times? Get them a pal! Do they need to learn a little responsibility? Get them a pal! Have they just been begging you night and day? Well, you get the idea.

Pals come from anything we find laying around here at GoGo, usually charms or traditional Japanese objects. All you need to do is add a little GoGo rice and they come alive! They may not be as developed as GoGos themselves but they're certainly no longer inanimate.

Pals can come in all colors, but usually prefer to match their owners. And remember to pick wisely when choosing a Pal for your GoGo! Some tend to only get along with certain personalities and some just may be no good for your GoGo.

*Note: For those trying to save on on GoGo points you may purchase a Pal through Gaia gold. All proceeds go to future events and sales.

Description: Onis are terrible little creatures that feed on the souls of people who have done evil deeds. They can also fly! We put some toy ones in GoGo rice just to see what would happen. They're no soul eaters but they love destruction and being mean. An oni would enjoying pairing up with a GoGo with similar hobbies.

Cost: 100g or 10 GG-pts
Type: Neutral
Description: Usually when you stick chopsticks up and down in rice it's an offering to the dead. But doing so with GoGo rice will bring your chopsticks to life! Hashi make perfect, well-rounded pals for your GoGo.

Pal: Oridzuru
Cost: 150g or 15 GG-pts
Type: Health/Peace
Description: Around the end of WWII a young Japanese girl named Sadako was diagnosed with Leukemia. Her friend told her a legend that if you fold 1000 paper cranes you will be granted a wish. She wished to be healthy again and folded over 1000 cranes until she died. Today we fold cranes for children with the this, and other life threatening diseases and wish that they get better. Oridzuru will ensure your GoGo keeps good health and a good attitude.

Pal: Kaeru
Cost: 150g or 15 GG-pts
Type: Safety
Description: Kaeru means both frog and return. A kaeru frog charm tucking in a pocket or purse will ensure a safe trip home. They may be a little overly-cautious but they will ensure your GoGo stay safe from harm.

Pal: Konnyaku
Cost: 100g or 10 GG-pts
Type: Sweet
Description: Tasty little jelly cups that are fun to slurp in your mouth and are filled with mystery fruit! We put a little grain of GoGo rice on it and it came to life! It jiggles and wiggles and has a jolly good time. Good for any up-beat GoGos that can cope with adorableness.

Pal: Maneki Neko
Cost: 200g or 20 GG-pts
Type: Lucky
Description: These guys are very common in asian shops or restraunts to bring them luck and prosperity. In fact we have our own collection here at GoGo! But here we like to stick them in some GoGo rice and watch them come to life. Manekis are very optimistic and are happy with GoGos who are also.

Q: How much are these pets?
A: Flat sale fee starts at 20,000g. Auctions, customs, and raffle prices may vary.

Q: How may I obtain one?
A: Participation with the shop will keep you informed on up coming events. Flat sales, auctions, customs slots, seiiku (breeding), raffles and mini-games are all prime ways of acquiring a Gogo.

Q. Are there customs allowed?
A: Yes, at this current moment chefs are working to set up formalities for customs. We ask that you be patient while they work.

Q. How much will customs be?
A: This will depend on each chef's overall custom preferences. You can find out more by checking out their workshop located in the Kitchen. (We apologize but the kitchen is closed for repairs at this time.)

Q. Can I make a quest in the guild?
A: Absolutely, in fact, we prefer it. There may be special events that require a quest thread be maintained in order to qualify. We also want to see your ideas.

Q. I want to quest for twins, is this allowed?
A: At this time, twins are left completely to the shop. If chefs come up with a creation that begets twins you may try for either twin or both during the event provided. Until then we prefer you do not quest for twins at this time.

Can I at least quest for non-twin siblings?
A: Again any twin or sibling related Gogo will be left to the shop. We prefer you quest for one Gogo at a time please. This lessens your burden and ours. It also shows your dedication to your concept and the shop if you can keep up with one quest at a time.

Q: How do I RP a piece of sushi?
A: Don't eat it, and keep other people from eating it while still keeping it out to ferment.

Q: Do I get to name them myself or pick their personality?
A: Unfortunately your Gogo is already named for you based on the food it represents. There is a BASIC personality for that Gogo during it's fermented stage which can be alter through gradual RP. Once your Gogo becomes a teen we'll allow for a change in their personality if we feel you've developed them enough.

Q: Is co-owning allowed?
A: Sorry, but no. It causes too much trouble.

Q: How many may I own?
A: Two Gogo are allowed per person this also includes twins.

Q. May I have more Gogo after the two I have reach adult?
A. Yes! Only if we feel you've shown dedication to the shop and to your Gogo may we allow for another chance. Activity is the key so stick around and you may be allowed more Gogo to your family! ^^

Q: Do Gogo's speak English or Japanese?
A: That's up to you, but please keep all RP in English, for the most part. If you choose to use a second language please also provide a translation in parenthesis.

Q. Do you take pet trades?
A. At this time we do not. Sorry. ^^

If you do not wish for the prize up for grabs then please do not enter this quiz. If you have not got a sushi then you can request art of you dream sushi, if you have neither you may be allowed to pass the prize on as long as they have a dream/sushi to draw.
