Fluo eyes Mali from afar before making a conscious decision to tell her treebaby to go back home. She could imagine the many ways Mali would roast her precious baby, hack her down for firewood or string effigies of each of the Louis the _____ kings on her branches. Fluo sighs but not before waving to Rafi and giving the universal encouragement hand motion.

((-point gasp- Fluo's a- Fluo's a bunny!!!)) Rafi looked up, seeing Fluo's hand motions, she smiled back with a thumbs up and a nod of understanding. -I really need to be more careful when making purchases.- With a grimace she slowly turned to her new companion, who was now slowly absorbing the bread and peanut butter into her body. Mali clutched the bread and peanut butter tightly with her tiny arms. Floating over to an unoccupied corner, she began to press the food items onto her body. Since she had no mouth, she would have to absorb the food through her body. |

Watching Rafi suffer from buyer's remorse, fluo perched on a nearby fixture to observe. With clumsy movements Mali tried her hardest to not become nutrients deficient, and it was then that fluo thought of a book that would help Rafi in the rearing of her ghostling. It took only ten minutes to retrieve the book. Placing the item in a plastic bag 20 feet away from Mali and Rafi, fluo went through the sticks to find the longest one. Satisfied, she started poking the package closer and closer to the happy couple. "It's a present. Take it," whispered fluo. |

Feeling somewhat tired from the days events, Rafi sat on the floor, dazed eyes watching the black-red form hovering in the corner. With a sigh she extended her arms behind her and leaned against, allowing her head to fall to one side. A faint scratching noise came to her ears, and from the corner of her eye she noticed a plastic wrapped package being pushed towards her. "A present?" She leaned towards the package and scooped it up quickly, quickly glancing in Mali's direction to ensure she wasn't paying attention. Satisfied that Mali hadn't noticed, she looked down at the package in her hands. A small smile crossed her lips as she turned towards her benefactor. "Thank you", she mouthed silently. Having consumed most of the bread and peanut butter, Mali allowed herself a moment of glee. Peanut butter... what an amazing thing. She would have to demand Rafi to acquire more of this bliss. Remembering her new owner Mali glanced in Rafi's direction. The curly haired girl seemed to be focused on some package in her hands and the floating shadow bunny sitting several feet away. Tossing away any thoughts on the bunny, Mali narrowed her eyes, curious to know what the package was. |

Fluo was delighted that her present was accepted. In the long run, it probably wasn't a very good idea to give the book to Rafi since her ghostling was a legion type, but natures cannot be changed. It would be in Rafi's best interest, fluo thought, if they understood each other more. If anything, it might give some insight on how Mali worked so Rafi could protect herself if necessary.
"It's a sturdy edition of Machiavelli's The Prince, and the bookmark I supplied is actually some fruit roll-up" mouthed fluo. |
