August 8 -

RL commissions are now closed! No more orders for a while I'm afraid. Thank you to those who bought them from me though, it was a big help! <3 I will be working on the growths and get them done before I leave. Which reminds me -

I will be gone from August 25th - November 14th or so, in Finland. I will still have internet access but I won't be online much. However the shop will stay up under the care of Kita, so no fears, though there will be a thread-swap in the near future!

RL Commissions will be closing soonish. Probably around August 8-10th. o-o So, get them in while you can, cause it'll be a loong time before I can do them again, lmao.

The bakeneko event is now over. Make sure you get your certed bakenekos in the thread (located in the guild) before tomorrow night, or else if I see them wandering around and they haven't been posted there, you will be BLACKLISTED From 5 future events/flatsales/w/e, and if you do not remove it you will be blacklisted from the shop. So please don't abuse the event. :3

There are many words for them, and many stories about them; those small, flickering, beautiful lights that dance in the darkness. Some say they're the ghosts of the living, others that they are faery lights hovering over the place they've buried their hoards of treasures.

In fact, they are a little bit of all the legends combined. They are called Willowisps, and are in fact a "Child" spirit, which has not yet grown into its adult form.

They inhabit the world, our world, known as Ages. And it is here that I wander, writing all my knowledge gained in Ages to help you.




The world is of various terrain, but the main sources of mana seem to come from the tree cities. Most of these tree cities are in fact giant trees, though perhaps not the way one might normally think of them. For example, the tree of frost is indeed made of ice, yet it grows a most valuable medicinal fruit once every three months, called the Lirlir fruit.

There are two trees which float high above on floating pieces of land, and one which orbits much higher in the sky, so high it is mistaken for a second moon.

It seems there are vast differences in cultures between each city and the next, especially within the Tree Cities. I have recorded my information in these tomes.

Status: Keeper of the Living Grimmoire of Fables.



- Nikolai -
Status: Bodyguard of Haveni, is in actuality a monster!

Status: Wandering Fish guy, knows the locations of hidden Willowisps. Comes onto everyone.

Races:

Sireni -
A hybrid creature which spends most of its time in the waters of the world; it can come ashore for small periods of time. Their diet consists of mostly aquatic animals and plants, although some of the more amphibious types have a liking for ‘land foods’.

Basilisk -
Name given to the serpent-bottomed creatures. They are very prideful in their tails, which can range from simple serpentish to having long tendrils of flowing hair, to even feathers. They love basking in warm, sunlit areas, but are also adept swimmers and some have even grown wings upon their arms to fly. They are mostly carnivorous, though they will also feed on berries and other fruits.

Sylph -
Sleek and slender mana types who resemble the common fairy. They generally stick to their forests when they fly, and are very good at disappearing.

Wyrm -
The flying dragon-types (as opposed to their flightless cousins, the Drake) they dominate the skies and are very territorial. Its not uncommon for a Wyrm to give up its “people manners” and go after other Ghostlings for prey or amusement.

Spectrals -
Mysterious sky spirits whose wings are made out of glowing ghost fire. They generally do not fly very high above the ground, but have been known to do so in some instances.

Fey -
A horned people said to have evolved from one of the ancient races. Their horns will glow according to their mood. They are very devoted yet stubborn creatures. Their blood is a panacea (Cure-all), so they are often hunted for it.

Nymph -
Similary to the Sylph, but they do not have wings, and prefer manipulating elements as opposed to flora or fauna.

Yokai -
The shapeshifting monsters, who often take on animal attributes, and some can even turn into the animal entirely. Some do this to lure others into a false sense of reality to take advantage of the situation. Most prefer to hide half their face with a mask.

Ogre -
A fierce people who are renown for their brute strength. However, ogres are more fond of their festivities and parties than fighting or raiding, and will often choose that, even if it is with their enemies. After all, dismembering and potentially devouring your enemy can always come in the morning!

Experiment -
Not necessarily a race of people, but they are consisted of various races and have been mutated or experimented on to become their current selves.

Poltergeist -
Said to have evolved from one of the ancient races. They prefer to stay in a non-corporeal form, and love to terrorize other ghostlings with their strong, psychic abilities.

Charm Dragon -
Very much like the Wyrm, except their wings are feathered and not webbed, and they are kind and considerate creatures (mostly). However, they can be quite prideful.

Oversouls are summons, special creatures who form from mana to assist those they deem worthy. Some stay by their owner's side as a loyal friend, others come when they're called, and some may even try to take their owner as theirs. So far, only a few kinds have emerged, and the info I have gathered for you is written below.


Tea Newt -
They are the more common type, who seem quite willing to bond with others. Occasionally they will appear and offer their assistance if you can pass a small test they give you. They have a passion for herbs, tea, and honey, and if you give one a special type, their appearance may change. While wingless, the Tea Newt CAN fly and swim at rather astonishing speeds. It enjoys giving others a ride on its back as well.

Stats:
+10 hp


Fisher Felix -
A more uncommon type of Oversoul. They are laid-back and enjoy bringing up treasures from underwater with their bamboo fishing rod, be it a nice, juicy fish, torn-up old shoe or a real treasure indeed. They can become quite moody sometimes when they cannot catch anything. The fisher has wings, and can indeed use them to fly, but it hates to carry others around on its back, so it will usually have a tantrum if it must.

Stats:
+15 hp


Floof -
They are a rare type, and difficult to bond with. Though they resemble a peaceful herbivore, they in fact are carnivorous and have a mouth full of sharp teeth. They are extremely fast while running on the ground, and cannot fly, but can bound great distances. Once they do form a bond, it may take them a while to warm up to the ghostling they have bonded with. Some may never, and others may become the ghostling's best friend.

Stats:
+20 hp

Generosity -
This oversoul only bonds with those who purchase customs or show great patronage to the world of Ghostlings. Only Haveni can summon this particular kind to give to those who deserve it. It is a very loyal and caring creature, and loves giving rides to its owner. It generally carries objects tied to its antlers, such as lanterns, bells, or beads. It cannot fly, but its front legs are so strong it could bash through the toughest stone wall.

HP+25
Lucky Strike Skill (If you land on the number 7, your attack will go through through anyways.)


"Its a little funny, and somewhat mysterious. You see Nikolai there? You must wonder where he came from, and why I have no oversoul. Well, I do have an oversoul - he is it." Haveni opens her notebook, scribbling an example. "You see, when an Oversoul bonds to you so much, they might even fall in love with you. They'll change their form, to mimic our Legend forms, always able to change back into their original selves whenever needed. Its a very rare happening, but it does occur."



Oversouls FAQ:

Q. Do they grow?
A. Sort of. They come to you as you see in the black-outs, but if you RP with them a lot, they will become an Oversoul legend, otherwise known as a Mythos.

Q. Do I need to own a Ghostling to have one?
A. No. Generally they are seen as a familiar, but if you want to RP one just as it is, that is also fine, and you have a better chance of getting it to Mythos.

Q. What are the stats for?
A. They help people who enjoy partaking in the Coliseum.

Q. Can they breed?
A. No, however, one at a Mythos Stage can breed with a Ghostling.

Q. If I order a custom, can they wear clothes?
A. Nuuuh. They can wear things like armor and accessories or flowing things but I believe that the only animal that should wear clothes is Wishbone.

Sales Rules

- Don't harass others for Ghostlings if they win one and you do not.
- Pay promptly. If you are having issues, please notify whoever is doing the event or sale.
- If you cannot listen to the rules set by the event or flatsale host, you will be banned from that event and the following one.
-If you participate in an RP - related event, and fail to make your prompt without an excuse, you will be disqualified for 3 events following that. It is rude to do this and ruin the chance for somebody who might have participated. If something comes up, tell us.
-Do not edit things onto your certed Ghostling. (like extra jewelry, etc)
-Do not sell or trade your ghostling to others.

Sales FAQ

Q. Do you accept items as payment?
A. Yes, but only monthly collectibles, sealed envelopes or cash shop items valued over 10k. Some of the more expensive event items are fine during auctions.

Q. How come some flatsales already have their gender chosen and some don't?
A. If I feel a gender is unbalanced, I will do this. I don't want the shop to lean one way or the other. :3

Q. Can I bribe you to give me a ghostling?
A. Nope. You'll have to get it through means that others use, aka flatsales, auctions, RL commissions or contests.

How-to do Flatsales for Beginners:

- Have a payment of 30,000 gold ready. Remember I also accept collectables or cash shop items worth more than 10k, use current MP or tektek value.

- When the flatsale is ready to truly begin, once people have gathered, emilio will appear and give the signal. He will introduce the current willowisp up for grabs, and give it a number.

- Use random number generator and enter the digits 1-10, and submit your roll. Whoever matches the number first wins the right to purchase the Willowisp. (Do not spam relentlessly during the time Emilio introduces the next Ghostling!!!)

- You then must fill out the form below and send it to Omiekins or Kita v06 (whoever is currently hosting the flatsale) and await your Ghostling.

- To choose your race, you must roll a 1-12. What you land on is your race. However, you may choose your type for yourself, from the list.

3 - Sylph
4 - Wyrm
5 -Spectral
6 - Fey
7 - Nymph
8 - Yokai
9 - Ogre
10 - Experiment

Gold Custom Rules

- Must be paid up-front with either gold or items. Some event items (The more expensive ones) may also be used as payment in this case.
- When slots are open, I will take only regulars or people who have quest threads orders first. If there are remaining slots, then I will take other's orders.
- Don't whine to me if they're closed.
- Do not rip-off characters from deviant art. If one of your refs includes something as an example from them, like their hair style or something, then its fine, but more then 2/3 the character and you need to have the artist's permission.
- Customs may take a while, depending on what place you are in line. Be patient, and don't pester the artist about when it will be done.
- If you feel you were "Forgotten", or your order was lost, or it has been an unusually long time and you still don't have your ghostling, then you may pm the artist about it.
- You may not use cosplay characters on the reserved list. They are reserved for auctions and events and contests in the future.

Q. After I make my order, can I have the race changed?
A. Most likely not, unless you change your mind IMMEDIATLY after making the order. Basically I work like this: I do the willowisp, release it, and work on the other growths and release them later. I WILL NOT REDO THESE if you can't make up your mind, so please be sure of your order when you make it!

Q. Why are slots unlimited?
A. To help with my funds to go to finland to see my girlfriend of course. :3

Q. Will you continue doing them after you go?
A. Yes, but slots won't be as available as they are now.

Q. Can I order multiple things in one order?
A. Yes, just don't forget things or you won't get them!

Q. Do cosplays cost more for RL commissions?
A. No.

Q. Can I pay you with a gaia cash credit card thing?
A. No, that translates back to gold, lmao.

A. No. It is definitely not illegal, and neither is it against gaia's ToS. Its only against their ToS if I offered items ONLY for rl money, and if I have the pricing actually on Gaia. Q. Do items cost extra to add on?
A. No.

Q. If I decide I want another item later after my order is made and delivered, do I have to pay for it?
A. Yes, with gaia gold, if the item is available.
